Waterfront holiday rentals in Silkeborg

A very nice accommodation right on the water (only a footpath separates) on two floors (narrow spiral staircase): upstairs armchair, sofa, view of the harbor and the bed, downstairs kitchenette, large table and the bathroom. Everything you need. Good furniture. In the building also an underground car park (very expensive) or a handful of public parking spaces with a 15-minute limit. Cafes, bars and restaurants nearby, but not too loud. Perfect for exploring the city (by bike) or watching the day go by with a view of the water.

We've been here before, and hope to visit this lovely apartment again. It's well equipped, with comfortable furniture and everything you need even for a lengthy stay. The wall-to-wall windows make the apartment light and airy, and the decking is a perfect place for coffee or glass of wine. Shops and restaurants are close by, and the local coffee shop does excellent croissants and cardamom buns to take away if you want coffee on your own patio. Coastal walks start outside the door. Anne and Arnstein, the hosts, are responsive and friendly. I highly recommend.

Pia's place is just beautiful, spotlessly clean and with a lovely view over the harbour. We really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony enjoying the last sun of the day! There are numerous restaurants in the immediate area- we ate out at two which are on the waterfront in the same building as Pia's flat (so very convenient) All in all thoroughly recommended!

Troels is a perfect host. The apartment also exceeded our expectations, although the photos and descriptions were already very promising. Aarhus is a very attractive destination as a "young" city with a mixture of historical and contemporary architecture and cultural offerings. And the apartment absolutely complements this impression. Such a beautiful apartment in such a beautiful location. Brian was very helpful and very responsive to messages. The apartment itself is super luxurious, with great views and great amenities on your doorstep.

This host was very accommodating and allowed us to check in early. There was friendly and responsive communication. The apartment was easy to find and was spotlessly clean and close to the sailing centre which the reason for our visit. There was a nice bakery, a few restaurants and a supermarket close by. The walk into town was a reasonable walk but there is a bus stop close by, that takes you straight in. The apartment itself is very cosy and perfect for 2 people. We could easily cook meals and wash clothes. It had everything we needed and we felt very safe and secure. The balconies were lovely and the view is really nice. The neighborhood is very modern and the architecture is fabulous. We had a great 2 week stay here! Thank you!

Can clearly recommend Birgit, as a host and her beautiful apartment in Viborg. Located in the most beautiful location right by the lakes. Apartment contains everything in equipment and more and so everything is so nice/neat and clean. Will definitely return again another time. Thank you for your stay, Birgit 🙏

We enjoyed a weekend in Ebeltoft - 10 adults and 4 children. Good layout and nice rooms. The living room was super cozy and the view lovely. Lars was hugely welcoming and quick to respond, so it was easy to plan. We'd love to come again ☺️

Ulf’s Tiny House is a wonderful Airbnb if you’re looking for something special. Located right by the water in Aarhus Ø, it offers a stunning view of the city skyline. The Tiny House is even more beautifully furnished than in the photos. There’s now a large, very comfortable sofa in the living area, as well as two small tables that are perfect for setting up outside to enjoy dinner with a breathtaking backdrop. Everything was spotless, and the house has everything you might need. Thanks to the large glass front, the house warms up quickly—even on cooler days—as it gets sunlight throughout the day. At night, you can keep the windows open while still locking the door using a clever trick, which keeps the temperature pleasantly cool. We highly recommend the restaurants nearby—especially Tipsy, which we enjoyed so much that we went there three nights in a row! The only downside: even late at night and as early as 5 a.m., people jog past the house, and fishermen drive by with scooters.

Lovely surroundings right next to the fjord. Very nice reception; the host had left both coffee and homemade cake out. Here we'd love to come again.

I did not meet Hélène but she responded very quickly to all my requests and questions. Her instructions were very clear. The neighborhood is a bit far from the historic center, about 20min walk. However, I consider this new neighborhood to be: proximity to the sea, chic, full of activities. If I went back to Aarhus, without hesitation, I would go back to Hélène's place.

Super apartment at the harbor, nice reception with wine in the fridge, very good communication, very well equipped and especially pleasant is the possibility to enjoy water and Merr on the balcony

Great place to stay – highly recommended! I had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described – clean, cozy and equipped with everything you might need. I especially liked the comfortable bed, the quiet location and the lovingly furnished living area. Communication with the host was straightforward and very friendly. Check in and out went smoothly. This was a really well- equipped flat and was clearly the owner’s homely home not just a rental: there were lots of personal photos, books, binoculars etc. The temperature was always just right. It was amazing to stay in one of the most-coveted waterfront positions in such an iconic architectural complex. The view of the harbour from the flat was mesmerising-so much was happening including huge container ships being piloted in, herons hunting in the rocks, seals bobbing by …. Special mention must go to the sparrows who regularly checked in on the balcony! Aarhus is a very intriguing city with lots to explore, we wished we had a longer stay than just 3 nights.
