Our family enjoyed a nice, quiet stay at Sarah’s place. The view is beautiful, living space is spacious and comfortable, with good wifi, and fishing at the dock is a great way to enjoy some relaxed time. Sarah is very responsive for questions, which we thoroughly appreciate.

Amazing time at this wonderful cottage. The hosts were very responsive and friendly, and have put a lot of time and energy into making this cottage an excellent stay. The hosts for this cottage clearly have a passion for making people feel right at home. Thoughtfully, they've left notes, instructions, videos, and even created home automations to make staying here as easy as possible. Everything was fully stocked from cutlery, spices, cleaning supplies, linens, etc. there was almost nothing that they missed out on that a group of people might need! The Hot tub and Suna were wonderful additions that we took full advantage of. The bed rooms and guest houses were cozy and comfortable (with AC/heating). The waters were very nice. Sandy lake that doesn't get too deep until much much further out. The dock was well constructed and great for relaxing. Overall, one of the best AirBnB cottages that we've stayed at in years.

Wait.. there is no option for 6 stars!?! Wow, where to begin!?! From check-in to check-out, our group had a fantastic time. Our host was super friendly and easy to connect with at all times. Our group had 8; 6 adults, a teen & a child. Everyone was entertained at all times from the karaoke machine, the games, the hot tub, the firepit, the kayaks & canoes, the swimming, and the stairway to haven, which was truly breathtaking taking!!! The town of Halliburton was a short 10 minutes away where we enjoyed some shopping, lunch & coffee. We were celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary; 78 & 73 years young and they rocked that staircase several times! We frequent Air B N Bs often and this is by far my new favourite. There is already talk of a return visit in the future. Highland Bliss is gourgeous, loaded with all the amenities, is spotless, super comfortable and my family is so thankful to Marcia for allowing us to visit her beautiful space and create lasting memories!

from the moment we arrived we knew we had found a gem. from.the clear communication to the immaculate cottage with gorgeous views and crystal clean hot tub, we were sold !!! Highly recommend!!! will be back as soon as we are able .

Your cottage is so beautifully done. You have provided everything needed to make a stay comfortable & peaceful. We enjoyed the outdoor space as well & relaxed in the hottub. All the days we were there, a deer wandered through the property & on the last day she brought her baby with her! Everything was perfect. Thank you for the lovely experience!

My friends and I stayed here for a winter weekend away and it was just what we needed/wanted in a little cottage. Great location for those coming from the GTA and nice and close for those in Simcoe. Once we got there we felt right at home! The hosts had cleared the walking paths and back deck of any recent snow fall which made it nice and easy to get inside and enjoy the grounds. They went above and beyond by having the wood burning stove going for us when we checked in which made CARL that much more cozy and welcoming. Communication and instructions were very clear and detailed from start to finish which made the whole rental process easy and enjoyable. My friends and I look forward to coming back to CARL in the future!

My friends and I had a wonderful weekend at this cottage. The lakefront property is beautiful, clean, and our favourite part was watching the gorgeous sunsets that could been seen from the terrace as well as from inside. Jesse was easy to reach and made sure that everything ran smoothly and that we were having a good stay.

Penny’s place was great: every little detail has been thought through, instructions clear, host very responsive. The house and surrounding area were beautiful - clear lake; lots of outside sitting areas, bbqs, hot tub, fully furnished kitchen, etc. The house was spotless - very clean; lots of towels, robes, linens. Lastly, Penny was very accommodating and kind given that we had one older person in our group with limited mobility (the house is well equipped for accessibility - super rare for AirBnbs). Thank you, Penny!

Amy & David's place is peaceful heaven, when you need quite break from your work and city. Its a good quiet neighbourhood with all necessary resources. Although everything nearby closes at 8pm can be challenging. So stock up your food in advance. Amy & David are friendly and responsive whenever needed. All the nearby attractions are just 15-20 mins away. The best part is star gazing at night. Pro tip: bring your tripod to get a breathtaking snap of sky full of stars. Thank you guys, it was a wonderful time.

Shahrear's cottage was beautiful inside and out, secluded and private from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cottage was fully equipped with kitchen necessities and also had linens bedding provided. Shahrear was very responsive and friendly from booking to check out. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend getaway!

We had a great time! we stayed here for a girls weekend. The on-site bug zappers were a godsend in keeping the mosquitos away. Everything was easy to find and perfectly fit our needs, we'd definitely come back.

This was my second stay at Stephen’s place and it did not disappoint yet again! This was the perfect cabin getaway, complete with a very clean, beautiful and cozy cottage paired with so much to enjoy outside and on the water. We cannot say enough positive things about our stay and how great of a host Stephen always is!! Would definitely recommend, and I look forward to another visit in the future!

Katie and Craig's place was nothing short of impeccable. We were a family of 6 with 2 small kids and this place really felt so comfortable and cozy, that we definitely decided to make it our annual getaway. As hosts, Craig and Katie were so easy and friendly to communicate with. We missed a few things to grab from the store, but Katie was able to arrange to get us these items, which were much appreciative. The cabin is located in such a serene and spectacular location. The boat ride to and from the cabin was an experience in itself and whilst we were at the cabin there were plenty of games for the kids to be entertained with, a peaceful hammock which I personally slept on for the 2 afternoons we spent there, and finally the hot tub, canoes and peddle boats. This is a gem of a place with excellent amenities. 5 stars do not do this place justice honestly. It's 7 stars for sure!

We booked this cottage super last minute after our original plans fell through, and Blessy and Sone were incredibly accommodating. The space was charming and cozy—we especially enjoyed canoeing, playing badminton, and exploring Bobcaygeon. It’s such a cute town with great restaurants and fun shops to check out. We loved swimming in the river and relaxing by the fire in the evenings. Overall, a great stay with plenty to do to keep us entertained!

Great cottage for a getaway! Jason was very accommodating and responsive to all our questions. We came for a girl's weekend retreat and it suited our needs perfectly. Nice little sand beach that made it easy to get in and out of the water. Would recommend Bud's Place and will book again myself :)

We had a fantastic stay at the cottage as a group of five! The place was super clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for both comfort and fun. The surrounding forest and lake were absolutely beautiful—peaceful, private, great for a summer getaway. As expected during the summer, there were lots of bugs outside, but the cottage was well-prepared for that. Bug screens and other thoughtful touches kept the indoors totally bug-free, so we could relax comfortably without any issues or worries. Communication with the hosts was excellent—they were incredibly responsive and accommodating. Anytime we had a question, they replied right away with helpful solutions. They went above and beyond our expectations to make sure our stay was smooth and worry-free. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts!

The house was spotless and the garden was absolutely lovely. Both we and our dog had a wonderful time during our stay. We always bring our own sheets to Airbnb stays, but we couldn’t help noticing how fresh and clean the ones here smelled — that was a really nice touch. Many of the things we brought with us were already available in the house, which made everything so convenient. Hot water was always available, which made our stay even more comfortable. The garden was peaceful, filled only with the sounds of birds and frogs — it was truly relaxing to just listen to nature. Getting away from Toronto for a few days was exactly what we needed. Before we arrived, Dylan had kindly left firewood out in the yard for us — that was such a thoughtful gesture and we really appreciated it. As a suggestion, the double bed could use some improvement — it wasn’t very comfortable. Also, the mosquitoes were really intense; despite using repellent, we were bitten all over. Cannot recommend this cottage enough! Had a great time with my family, the apartment was fantastic, and the view was better than I could’ve imagined. 10/10 would recommend!

Fantastic stay! Clean, beautiful views, hot tub was amazing and fishing off the dock was pretty good. NOTE: Proximity to road was a bit of a thing for the sound. That being said it didn't diminish our enjoyment of our stay. Thank you again!

great location. everything was clean. I didn't know what to expect going there, but after staying there for three nights I definitely would recommend this place for anyone, especially couples or people with small children. The water is not deep and perfect for swimming, but a little cold for me

Sarah’s property is one of the best I’ve stayed at so far. Everything from the warm hospitality and peaceful ambience to the top-notch amenities and the thoughtful organization of the space was absolutely perfect. The quality of every detail truly stood out, and the team was absolutely great, friendly, responsive, and professional throughout. A must visit for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful and refreshing getaway.

When selecting our holiday this year, we were looking for somewhere peaceful with a beautiful view that would allow us to recharge batteries. Patrick's home provided exactly this. The whole experience was awesome, the view spectacular. Overall the activities on the lake did not cause significant concern, the lake is big enough for jet skis but not for full motorboats. There were a few people who felt it was a great idea to just dash up and down the lake at top speed, but they soon got bored and stopped and this was, generally, only at the weekend. The rest of time the place was just serene. We were sad when it was time to go, we stayed 8 days and could have stayed 8 more.

Had a wonderful annual weekend away with all my girlfriends! Although the weather didn’t cooperate for the whole weekend, there was tons of room and games inside to keep us entertained. The covered back deck and hot tub were great too to let us get outside a bit. Will definitely be booking again hopefully when the sun is out and can enjoy the dock and fire pit! Overall a beautiful spacious place for 10 people to enjoy and very clean too.
