U heeft een eigen ingang en de Woodpecker beschikt over twee royale slaapkamers, beide met een eigen douche en toilet. De keuken is uitgerust met alle basisgemakken. De bungalow is geschikt voor maximaal vier personen. Woodpecker Leeuwarden kan ook via een eigen site geboekt worden. We gaan het laatste seizoen in om ergens anders weer opnieuw te beginnen. De nieuwe bewoners hebben andere plannen

Leeuwarden is 'by far' the prettiest city of the Netherlands! And it's only a 3 minutes walk to the city center. This 100 year old, cute house is located in the peaceful and quiet Vossenparkwijk. A very nice studio with everything and very neat and clean . We were very warmly received and the communication was very easy . Just great stay and we will definitely come by again. Nice location to visit Leeuwarden and Stavoren. Nice also the folder with tips for the area

Goasse is a nice host, easy to communicate with. The kitchen with seating area is well equipped. At the table you have a fantastic view over the countryside. For the colder nights, there is even a small heater to make it even more pleasant. The neat spacious bathroom is between the kitchen and the bedroom. The bedroom has a very good bed, this is the nicest I slept on in an airb&B.

Cozy house right on the water

We spent 6 nights with our two dogs at Marc's place and felt at home during that time. Marc is a great host who is always easily accessible; Bea visited us and helped us with questions. The small house is cozily furnished and very well equipped. We didn't miss anything. We loved sitting on the cozy veranda and enjoyed the great view. The surroundings are quiet, there is a lot of nature and there are many easily accessible excursion destinations nearby. Marc also provides bicycles and a boat, which we did not use. All in all, we were thrilled, enjoyed the time and would be happy to come back.

The place was absolutely perfect to unwind. The location is quiet and relaxing – just what we were looking for. We would like to emphasise the host who was incredibly friendly and helpful. He took care of everything and even organized the rental of e-bikes for us, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime!
