Consists of a open space living room/equipped kitchen which opens onto a terrace where you can listen to the sound of the waves and admire beautiful sunsets, a bedroom with double bed and a bathroom with shower. The beach can be reached directly by lift on the floor. Also, there are other beaches nearby and in short driving you arrive in the magic city of Trieste.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Surrounded by greenery, the birds will wake you up and breakfast on the magnificent terrace will be your first great pleasure of the day! You can walk down to Sistiana sea (12-15 minutes) without moving the car. The town is 1 km away; a large supermarket is also very close. The beginning of the magnificent Rilke trail, with spectacular views of our Gulf, is a 3-minute walk away and leads you to the splendid Duino Castle.

The house, completely renovated in 2018, is offered as a special accommodation for young couples, families with children. The accommodation, located between the sea and the Karst, offers not only moments of fun and relaxation by the sea (located a 5-minute drive and 25 minutes on foot downhill and 40 uphill), but also the possibility of long walks, bike rides and, of course, visiting many tourist attractions. We recommend having a car to get around.

Quiet location between the hills and very panoramic. No parking problems. Well-stocked and spacious place. With a car you can reach everything quite easily, including Trieste. (There is also public transport that we haven't experienced) Great Hosts. Balance between tranquility and comfort. A black and white kitten ensured vigilance over the house and garden...very effectively. To be recommended.

I had a fantastic time at Alex's. He's a great host and always made sure I had everything I needed. I immediately fell in love with the apartment and really appreciated the bicycle, which allowed me to get around, even without a car. There are also cheap and frequent buses to Trieste. I was especially happy about being able to swim in the sea for free, only a five minute walk from the apartment at the beautiful harbour of Duino. The beach in Sistiana, which can be reached by bike or a lovely hike along the Rilke path. The main street is very close to the apartment but the windows close very well, so the noise is not a problem. It's also perfectly constructed for the climate and great to cool down after a day in the sun. I also need to mention all the household items that Alex provides, like laundry detergent, soap, etc. Bring sunscreen and a swimming suit and you're good to go! Alex, thank you for everything. I hope to be back soon.

Francesca is a courteous and discreet person. The apartment is quiet and the room is very clean. Francesca's partner is also a kind and discreet person, so the guest's welcome is generally pleasant! The shared bathroom is well maintained, tidy and clean. A generous breakfast with tea or coffee, fruit juice, croissants, biscuits, jams, fruit, etc.

A cozy apartment with a great terrace, from which you can see miles into the countryside and the Slovenian mountains. We slept wonderfully because it is extremely quiet and the beds are very good. In the kitchen there is everything you need. In addition, Cristian is a great beer brewer: his home-brewed beer is excellent (towards IPA). We particularly appreciated the opportunity to rent two e-MTB and explore the hinterland (karst). The old Salzstraße (Gemini) is very exciting, but requires some experience with gravel and rocky trails. You can reward yourself in the Osmiza, which is available in every place. We fully recommend the place!

Karin's place is wonderful - everything is clean and comfortable, and the location is very good. It was a great base both for exploring the tourist sites and getting to know more local spots. Karin is super nice and friendly; I felt very welcomed and enjoyed chatting with her whenever I saw her around! I will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends.

Matilde is a truly warm-hearted and friendly host. The room was very clean and spacious, and the thick walls of the old building kept it nice and cool during the heat. The place has a lot of charm and character, with a lovely vintage atmosphere. I felt right at home during my stay. Grazie mille!
