We decided to go away over the new year and chose Kristine and Hans place in Norway What a great choice ! Kristine and Hans where great and very accommodating and could not do enough, they kept us informed about everything all the way We had the best holiday ever, we had everything we could wish for, the northern lights and a ton of snow We were snowed in on the last day and Kristine and Hans let us stay a extra night as we could not travel They where the perfect hosts and we will be stopping here again without any hesitation Thanks you both

What a wonderful home away from home for a long weekend! The house is part of two different worlds - one the rural Norway of the past and the other very much the present. Being on a working dairy farm also made us reflect on the sources of our food and how much we take for granted day-to-day. We enjoyed convenient access to kayaking, hiking, cruising the fjord by ferry to Geiranger, and cooking local foods in the well-appointed kitchen. Special thanks to Synnove for fresh home-baked bread and sending on our way with slices of cake for the journey.

Superb stay. One of our favourites in Norway. A very cozy house with lots of space and a brilliant outside deck with awesome views of the mountains and fjord. It has a lived-in feel, but that makes it all the more charming and cozy in my view. Terje is a great host and a great guy. The wood fire and hot tub outside is perfect and it’s a great outdoors eating space. The kitchen has everything you need and the living room wood burner is great (plus huge TV for when you need it). A very cool restaurant/pub, Christian Gaard, is a short ferry away and there are great walks nearby (and a beautiful waterfall 30 seconds from the garden). Huge recommend - would love to return someday.

Had a lovely stay at this cabin! Beautiful location with so stunning views all around. The cabin was clean and cozy, everything was as described. A lovely warm shower after a rainy day was perfect! Friendly and fast replies from the host Anita. Highly recommend!

Awesome and charming house 😊 Well equipped with what you need to stay. A little secluded place, but by car it's not a problem! Delightful with hot tubs 👌 Never met the host, but easy to communicate with her on message, she responded quickly if there was anything we were wondering about. The stay is recommended by us, we are happy to book again if we are going to the area at a later date!

We had a wonderful stay for our honeymoon - everything from useful hiking suggestions, quick to bring us anything we needed, to a magical hotpot experience! We couldn't have asked for more out of our stay of from Venise and Gaby. The location was perfect for accessing the less known hiking spots but still with those spectacular views, as well as being close to the ferry so it was easy to hop over to Volda. It was peaceful and we loved the views over the water, and we made good use of the fireplace for cozy evenings. Don't be put off by the road near by, there is very infrequent cars so you hardly hear anything at all!

The accommodation was very cozy, quiet and secluded, just as we imagined it. The amenities were great and everything you needed was there. A huge advantage was the charging station for electric cars. Bottolf was a very good host and gave us a few tips for excursion destinations in the area. We would definitely recommend the place.

A wonderful find! This was a perfect stop on our roadtrip, to rest up. Roar made it very easy for us to find it by giving us precise directions. Our host was away during our stay but made us feel completely at home. Thank you Roar! Spacious dining/living areas, brightly lit up with a lot of natural light, and with a view. A well provisioned kitchen. Comfortable beds. Very clean and tidy all around.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location with a view of the snow-capped mountains everything you need was there spent a day in Ålesund, beautiful! delicious food at restaurant Raus in Sykkylven only too bad we had a lot of rain

We had an amazing stay at an amazing Norwegian farmhouse with hiking nearby and floating saunas on the fjord in Sæbo. Very central to take ferries wherever you want to go. We highly recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stayin a calm and beautiful place surrounded by mountains. The house was clean and fully equipped. Its a good place to stay with family and friends. Catherine is proactive and responsive.

Oddny's apartment is cozily furnished. The bathroom is pleasantly warm and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. We felt very comfortable and so did our dog.

Very convenient stay right in the centre of Alesund. The apartment was old but very neat and very clean, simply what we expected from the pictures.

We have had an amazing week! It is the second time we stayed here and there will be a next time for sure. You need a car, that goes without saying but the view, the charming house, the facilities (we loved the use of the small boat) and the quitness offer a great alternative on a rainy or relaxing day.

Enjoy a beautiful house with great views. Randi responds very quickly to questions. The house is great, and especially if you are with a larger group. It was very clean and it smelled fresh. Nice and close to the ferry that takes you to the breathtaking Geiranger Fjord. Hopefully see you next time.

Trygve's place is cozy, clean, and Trygve made us feel right at home. He found and offered information on a local tour when we told him we were looking for it. You will love the beautiful scenery and the culture and history you'll feel in this lovely home.

Monica and Ivar are great hosts. they are very welcoming and helpful. The stay is very nice and cozy and with all the amenities. There is a bus stand just right outside the house and it takes only 15 minutes to go to Alesund central. The view from the house is also a bonus.

Mona is very kind and hospitable. She met us when we arrived and showed us the place and the surrounding. The house is clean and matches exactly like the photos. It's kitchen is sufficiently equipped. The surrounding is serene and beautiful. In addition, it's just a short drive to Molde. I would recommend Mona's house if you are traveling in the areas. P.S. There are a few steps of stairs to the entrance as well as stairs to the sleeping areas. If you have mobility issues, please be aware.

We had a wonderful stay with Edith & Jon Arne in Norangdal and look forward to returning next summer! The scenery was beautiful, the home was exceptionally clean, and the warm welcome we received from our hosts was the epitome of hospitality. The beds were very comfortable and the tiny details of comfort were not overlooked. Blackout curtains for the midnight sun helped ensure a good nights rest. The homemade chocolate confectionary and scones were a culinary delight! It is so special to enjoy time with truly talented people.

From the first day til when we left we loved this place more and more. A perfect location for leaving off into the mountains and fjords and the peace and tranquility of the location was just what we needed. Loved every minute and Andreas is such a warm and gracious host!
