very nice condo. good location next to mall and walking distance from restaurants, bars and waterfront with ferry to Valletta. it was challenging to find the meeting place as the parking is part of a mall with lots of restricted access and gates. but once we did meet, we got access things were good from there. communication was good throughout. the only challenge was the sunlight. the primary has blackout curtains but light pours in the sides but 630am. and one bedroom only has sheers so it gets very bright very early. clean and well equipped. nicely done.

Diane’s place is well situated in Sliema, a busy tourist centric area. For those that are looking for an authentic Maltese experience, perhaps consider Floriana or closer to Valletta. It’s a 30 minute bus journey into Valletta from the apartment. Buses come regularly and are efficient, but a word of warning to fellow travellers. Malta is a victim of its own success as a tourist attraction. It’s busy. Very busy. And it’s challenging to find peace and quiet. Gozo is your best option for this. Diane is a great host. She let me check in early and is very helpful. The apartment has a great view from the kitchen, but the balcony is small and being high up, quite windy. The other rooms are quite dark with little natural light. But the apartment is very well equipped and comfortable. The building is in a terrace of other apartments so you will hear other residents in nearby buildings. I was conscious of this at night.

I had a great stay at Ismar's place. The apartment is very spacious and nicely furnished with modern furniture. It's centrally located in Sliema, just steps away from the ferry to Valletta. The building is located on a pedestrian street across a shopping centre and there are many cafes and restaurants nearby. For me, the highlight was the rooftop terrace - the views were breathtaking and I enjoyed the pool. It's semi-private, shared between the two penthouses. I can imagine the place getting crowded, but the day I used it, it is was just myself. The couple in the other unit didn't think the terrace was clean enough. It was indeed quite dusty that day, but the next morning everything was cleaned, so may be just that day. Overall, the apartment has good kitchen amenities, but only salt and pepper available for cooking. I've stayed at other Airbnb apts, where kitchen basics, such as spices, oil, sugar, etc were provided. The hosts were responsive and tried to resolved issues quickly.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The property is not only in an amazing location – just a few steps from the sea – but also offers a breathtaking view of the water. Waking up to the view of the blue sea every morning felt like a true luxury. We especially loved the hot tub – it was the perfect way to relax after a long day. The apartment was clean, spacious, and beautifully furnished. The hosts were very helpful and friendly, with great attention to detail. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a peaceful, scenic getaway!
