Family-friendly holiday rentals in Slunj

We stayed at Maja’s house whilst visiting Plitvice Lakes and this was perfect for what we needed - a short drive to the national park and a clean, comfortable and well appointed place to stay. Maja (and her mother, who looked after us whilst we were there) were really helpful and responsive throughout. Even finding a high chair for our baby when we arrived! The layout of the house is a little unconventional - but that’s all very clear from the photos, so no surprises. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to stay in this area.

We had an excellent stay although we would have liked to meet the owners. We stayed for 5 nights and, being between 2 national parks, we found lots to do. 100% reccomended!

We had a great time in this cozy house with a beautiful garden. If you want to visit Plitvicer national park it is a great place to stay cause it is just 15 minutes away. Vedran and his wife were great hosts. Super friendly and warm hearted people. They gave us some recommendations in the area which were on point. All the best. Patrick & Annika

Dalibor's cottage is a great place. Very clan and spacious and perfectly equipped for a short - or longer - stay. We really liked the atmosphere and leisuring on the deck and in the jacuzzi after long hikes in the neighborhood. You are a few minutes away by car from 3 large supermarkets and any styles of restaurants. Perfect place for sending time in the Plitvice area (the entrance of the Park is 20 minutes away). The house is located on a mountain with a beautiful view of the sea and forests, and there are only a few houses around. Google Maps doesn't accurately show the house's location, so you have to drive about 200 meters further to find a sign that points you in the right direction. The house was very clean, and Filip was quick to respond. His father met us when we arrived, and we communicated using Google Translate. The house is far from the main route connecting Senj to Zagreb, which makes it super quiet and peaceful. But Senj and the coast are only a 20-minute drive away, with the nearest market also in Senj. When we were there, it was mostly windy on the mountain, so there weren’t any mosquitoes. On the calm days, there were some, though. There are also some activities in the garden for kids to play with. I'd recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful family vacation. There's also an old stray cat living in the garden. Don’t forget to feed it:)

Suzanna and her husband are super kind and welcoming, the villa is beautiful with the fireplace and the jacuzzi as an absolute highlight. The area is amazing especially since we stayed here during the winter with lots of snow around us.

We had a fantastic stay at the property. Everything was thoughtfully arranged and very well organized. Our group of 11, including 5 kids, had plenty to enjoy—there was something for everyone. The spacious common areas made it easy for us to gather and spend quality time together. The property was impeccably maintained and matched the description perfectly. Josipa was an outstanding host—very responsive and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place!

Super - everything about our stay at BeaRs log was fantastic. Beautifully appointed, incredibly clean, comfortable & in wonderful surrounds. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Dragana was very responsive & helpful. Would highly recommend staying at BeaRs Log. The only unfortunate thing is the bar has been set very high for the next accommodation on our holiday!

We had a pleasant stay at Nadjia's accommodation. A very friendly host, who was able to give good advice on local activities. We also really enjoyed the garden and terrace, where our 2-year-old daughter was able to play peacefully. We would love to come back there!

My wife, our son and I made a stop on the road in this beautiful and cozy place! We were very happy that we chose this house for our stop for rest on the way to the sea We had a good rest from the road, bathed in the river a five-minute walk from the house. We even wanted to stay for a couple more days, but unfortunately we had to leave in the morning. Thank you to the wonderful and very attentive hosts! We now know a great place to relax Thank you!!!!!

Everything was wonderful. The place was clean, had everything we needed, and backyard is lovely for sunbathing. Our dog loved it as well. The only thing that caught me by surprise is that the owners came knocking unannounced after my self check-in, so maybe communicating the exact time to come and collect ID information from guests would be better, since we all value our privacy. The owner was very nice, and also brought us some cakes as a welcome, and gave us helpful information about Plitvice. All in all it was a lovely stay and I would come back again!

Wonderful host and her Father. He is already there to welcome us a d explained every facilities in home. Better choice to stay here for the next day visit to Plitvicenational park. Next day morning he came with home made bread for breakfast. Already Jam, Egg, Apples are there as welcome gesture. Wonderful garden for Kids to play. I am strongly recommend here for peacful and wonderful stay.

We got there after we toured the falls and he was waiting for us. Anything we needed help in he was there to help. The bed was really comfortable. It would be great if he was able to expand the kitchen into a full kitchen with a bakery oven. I loved the size of the apartment.He has the sweetest orange cat that will come up and greet you. Very quaint and quiet right up my alley. Would stay there again!

This was our very best airbnb experience ever. We were received very warmly. The cottage has everything we needed and is very cozy. But the real asset is the blissful garden and the quiet environment. Everything is very child friendly. For example, the kids were allowed to pet the kittens and go for a walk with the dog. We had to force ourselves to go on outings because we enjoyed the cottage and the hospitality so much.

Very clean, very helpful and kind hosts. I recommend it with a clear conscience. A nice base for a nearby "lake".

We had a great time in Samir's house - it is spacious, very clean, has a large garden with pool and the best thing about it is the fantastic location right on the Una! There you can listen to the frogs croaking, cool off in the river or take a short boat trip. Our daughter also loved the toys in the house and garden. We would come back here anytime!

We had a wonderful time in Marija's clean, beautiful and spacious apartment. The owners were very friendly and flexible, we were able to book this space the same day. The garden was wonderful with plenty of room for our son (1.5 years), including swings and a nice swimming pool. The sandbox is no longer present. The house itself has everything you need, great kitchen and spacious bathroom. In addition, a good baby/toddler bed (travel bed incl. mattress and bedding) and high chair are available. The house is in a very quiet area, shops or restaurants are not within walking distance but easy to reach by car.

Its a beautiful small house perfect for one family. If you are traveling in bigger group this place will not suite you bit it is perfect for family. Nature around house is fascinating.

With unlike friends and children, we decided to choose this vacation home. Everything was perfect! We loved the barbecue garden, the place with no signal, the beautiful nature, and the stove that warmed the entire house. All recommendations for this listing. We had more than needed and had a lovely rest.

Great place! One star minus for location because if someone do not like to drive in curves it will be not so pleasure to go to sea area where also the shops are ...
