The cabin is cozy and the outdoor space is wonderful. Communication with the host was great. A perfect place to explore the surrounding forest and mountains from!

Very clean, very nice property in mother nature's lap. We felt very thankful for being able to enjoy the beauty and the calmness of this place. The experience has added to our repertoire of family memories. We highly recommend the place and Aaron and Shannon as great hosts.

Jerad’s home was the most equipped house we’ve stayed at - which is extra important and impressive given the location being a bit more remote of a location. The peace and beauty of the river and mountains from the back porch was well worth every penny spent!

We had a wonderful stay! We're a family with three young boys under the age of 8, and the home worked really well for us overall. A couple of small suggestions that might help future guests: it gets very bright upstairs in the early morning — our kids were up at 4:30am on the first day! Curtains or blackout shades would make a big difference. We ended up using foil as a quick fix, which worked well. The location is fantastic — just steps from the beach. For families with young kids (or older guests), a small set of portable stairs down to the sand would be helpful. We temporarily moved the hot tub steps to make it easier, which worked in a pinch. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked for cooking, and the neighborhood is peaceful with absolutely stunning views. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. Thanks for an amazing stay!

My wife and I celebrated our 49th anniversary…and spent a week there. It was the BEST! The home, the view , the beach, the owners of the place…the beds…everything! I would recommend it to anyone wanting a little getaway…it is very quiet…and walking the beach is a marvelous experience! Anyone who goes will not be disappointed!

Definitely going to stay here again in the future. Was right by the creek and had beautiful views! Very friendly and responsive host. They accommodated us checking in earlier than expected.

The whole family was impressed with the location. It was simply beautiful, with the ocean only a few steps away from the back door. We saw eagles almost every day while we relaxed on the patio, and being from the midwest we all got a kick from observing the tide come in and out. It was also a great location as a home base to drive around and see the sights. The house is about an hour north of Seattle, an easy drive. We also took a day trip to Vancouver, which was one of the nicest cities we've ever visited. The house itself was clean and had everything you might need. Even the mattress was a pleasant surprise, my bad back never bothered me, which is unusual when I travel. Highlights included a wonderful whale watching excursion we took from a town called Anacortes, about 40 mins north of the house. We followed a pod of Orcas for about an hour and a half and had a blast. I also recommend the Flying Heritage and Combat Armor museum in Everett. It has an amazing collection.

Jenn provided everything one needed for a perfect beach retreat. Beautiful views of the bay from every window. Quiet, private location, perfect homebase for exploring the area or just stay put and relax.

Stayed here with my spouse for a weekend where we were going to a wedding. This was a perfect, peaceful getaway and everything we hoped for. Hope to be back soon!

Inside and out, this place is amazing! There is so much to do on site, I calI it the "yes" house. Can you use the indoor fireplace? Yes! Can you use the grill? Yes! Can you use the kayaks? Yes! Everything you see is shared with you! (A note on the kayaks, they were too tipsy for us so next time we'll try their standup paddleboards.) In addition, this is the most well-stocked house I HAVE EVER SEEN! Tons of towels, blankets, etc but then additional things that save you trips to the store... matches, batteries, and a FULLY loaded kitchen! Our favorite activities were hunting for sea treasures, watching all the harbor seals pop their little heads up, making campfires in the evening, and watching the ferry when it chose to dock at the terminal that's right in front of the house. (There is an amazing view from the upstairs bedroom when it's there!) If there's poor weather, the house is still loaded with fun from games, puzzles, and a huge projector screen tv down in the ferry room.

Brandon’s place is absolutely perfect for relaxation. Being right on the water with a beautiful beach made it such a peaceful and quiet getaway. I loved just sitting back, taking in the view, and enjoying the calm atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you can truly unwind. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a solid Airbnb experience. I have to mention the fact that we saw a whale and a Seal right from the living room window. Also, it’s the perfect place for a beach walk.

Beautiful home! My friend ad I stayed for 3 days to get out of the city and spend some time just in nature. We saw eagles and took a mud walk and had a lovely fire pit. The house was exactly as described and we had an excellent time. Also the bunk beds are FULL beds so they have quite a lot of space if you wanted to have 3 people in separate beds you absolutely could. We had excellent weather but it wasn't warm enough for water sports.

To say that the view was gorgeous is an understatement. The pictures do not do the house and view justice if that's possible cause the pictures had us stunned, but being there in person was so much more. The host was very friendly, house was absolutely amazing, so clean, open, breathtaking.

the place was in an amazing location and was created everyday by the seals in the water! it was so tranquil and relaxing and the bathrooms and bedroom sizes were amazing!

Kara’s house is clean and just as pictured. We appreciated all the details to make us feel at home, even a basket of extra toiletries. We loved being able to walk across the road (which is very quiet) and be at the beach. We were lucky enough to see some seals. We appreciated the fenced backyard for our dogs as well. We’ll be staying again!

We booked Lesha’s place last minute when our existing Airbnb host cancelled the day before check-in. Lesha was super responsive and flexible with letting us hold the booking while sorting out pet care for the weekend. The house was well-appointed and clean with great sunset light & views. Loved the hammock on the upper balcony and the gym. The kitchen set-up and grill made it easy to whip up complicated dinners. Very chill spot on a convenient side of the island, 13 minutes to grocery.

We had a wonderful time at Stanwood, everything you can think of was available. The VIEWS, activities, bbq, jacuzzi etc…we are definitely coming back and telling our family and friends.

We so loved a second stay here with our six adult children and partners. Super cute and beautiful 80’s retro home. We will be back.

What an awesome place! Everyone loved it. The beds were comfy and the views were otherworldly. The water everywhere was gorgeous. All the little touches were thoughtful, such as the kayaks and cornhole. We loved hanging out here. The host was very responsive and thoughtful during check-in. We’d happily return!

I can't say enough about this treasure of a house! The location is stunning, special thoughtful touches everywhere. The jukebox and pool table were a very fun unexpected addition to our weekend. This house has soul! You can tell it's really been loved over the years. So clean, everything so well labeled. It way surpassed our expectations. Despite the detailed listing and all the photos it really has to be felt and experienced in person to really appreciate what a special spot it is. I will definitely book it again in a heartbeat.
