We came for peace, a beautiful environment and walks with the dog. Found this all. The village was like an open-air museum. The rooster of Française is a sweetheart. The Gîte and the garden are magnificent. Française is an exemplary host.

Spacious basement with dining-living kitchen, bedroom with extra sofa and TV, neat shower room with toilet, washbasin and shower. Also there is direct access to the garden with a table and chairs. The location is about 10 minutes drive from Chateau-Thierry, a somewhat larger place with restaurants, bakery and big shops

Pleasant stay in the green in a charming cottage, welcoming, comfortable, very well arranged, with pretty decor and close to many sites to visit and walks in the forests: Crépy en Valois, Pierrefonds, Compiègne, Senlis...

The cottage is even prettier than in the photos! Behind the house, you have a great view of the valley and the neighboring gardens. On the other side of the street, there is a wash house fed by fresh spring water. The stay here was a perfect end to our vacation, I had booked the cottage as a stopover for the return trip.

Everything as presented online, clean and quiet. Well-equipped (except maybe a bread knife, although French baguettes are of course eaten by hand :-) . Nice spacious garden without any interference from neighbours and fully ring-fenced. Wonderful for picnicking under the parasol :-) Quiet little town with all the shops you need at walking distance, and lots of places to walk your dog - or yourself.

What a beautiful location! It is a unique and characteristic building, where we immediately felt very comfortable. It has a wonderful garden with a private swimming pool, which is a real treat. Our daughter, just 1 year old, could learn to walk in the garden 🙂 The accommodation is in the small village of Roucy, from where you can drive up the champagne route and into the beautiful surroundings. We have enjoyed very much and would love to come back again. Thank you Régine!

Beautiful house in a beautiful, peaceful environment with lovely heated swimming pool. Hosts were very attentive and easy to get hold of. Lots of very useful information about the area, activities and places to eat before and on arrival. We booked Champagne tours and meal at Chateau de Sacy well before arriving. Perfect location for exploring the Champagne region.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Elena. We have stayed at multiple a number of accommodations that say they are dog friendly, but this house, garden and the hosts, truly were. There is no doubt that Elena and her husband are dedicated dog lovers and it shows in all the details they have considered in this property, even going the extra mile to create a safe and enclosed environment in the garden for your fur babies. Both Elena and her husband were phenomenal hosts, extremely kind and responsive. The property is beautiful, exceptionally clean and you can tell that every detail has been considered and provided for your stay. The area is very quiet and relaxing, with beautiful walks and hikes nearby, accessible straight from the house. You can relax here with 5 star amenities AND have your beloved pets with you, which was just what we were looking for. Thank you, Elena - we loved our stay!

Had a lovely weekend at Matthieu's! My spouse and I wanted to leave the Paris region for a little calm. The goal of calm in a peaceful setting is largely successful. :)

We had a wonderful time! It’s a really unique place, a beautiful house, which feels very personal, with idyllic surroundings. Fabienne was a brilliant host, and hopefully we will return soon.

The property was neat. The kitchen was well equipped, large spacious fridge and freezer. Sufficiently spacious rooms, kitchen and living room. Very nice garden, both front and back. It is only important to note that the back garden is not completely enclosed. Perhaps this is the case, but we could not see this because the fence (wall) stopped in the middle of the garden and the garden went into another plot. Not unimportant if you bring your dog. We had a very nice weekend!

Very nice, clean, well-equipped accommodation with good bedding. Very responsive host. Baby equipment and sandpit very popular. We'll be happy to go back!

The accommodation was simply impeccable, beautiful and totally in line with the description. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom nickel. Laure is very responsive. It was a pleasure to stay at this apartment.
