Costa was the best AirBnb host we have ever had. Very responsive and Costa even helped jump start our car when the battery died, what a legend. Thank you Costa. The property is brilliant, unbelievable view. Nice local restaurants and the bus stop is right outside. Would 100% recommend.

Apartment with old-fashioned charm but ultra well-equipped and a breathtaking view!! Robyn was very considerate and available. If you arrive by public transport (bus, ferry) you must be able to climb a certain number of steps but that's what makes this location charming.

I honestly don’t think I could recommend this place more if I could. From the amazing communication with Emi, the extremely clean and well looked after property to the VIEWS… it was just perfect! I cannot express how incredible the views are from this property, we kept saying it just doesn’t look real, this is certainly the place to go! Emi was also so helpful and lovely, she was able to get all our reservations even though I left it so last minute, she was also at hand when we needed help or guidance, she just made the whole experience so smooth it really made our experience that much better. I thank you so much for a trip of a lifetime!

Beautiful, relaxing place to stay with incredible views of the lake… only 25 steps to the water from the property! There have been reviews where the parking was described as difficult but it’s now super easy … the middle spot in a private parking deck right off the road. It’s best to come with a car to get to the nearby towns and restaurants. It’s a short walk from the property to coffee and a market with fresh pastries and pasta. We had a wonderful time here.

Great apartment above Menaggio. The view from the terrace of Lake Como and the mountains is fantastic. The apartment is very cozy and well equipped and is located in a very quiet environment. The center of Menaggio is within walking distance, and there are good hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity. Georgia Louise responded immediately to inquiries and was very helpful. This place is highly recommended!

Perfect apartment, great host, wonderful lake.

Luisella and Fermo were PERFECT hosts! My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Guilia House. The house is so charming - it felt like such a privilege to stay there and experience the history and beauty of the home and village of Fiumelatte. We especially loved the garden area that Luisella is cultivating - the views in the evening are spectacular! The walk to Varenna is an easy one with amazing views of the lake, mountains, and villages along the shore. This rental is not for everyone, however. Folks with mobility issues or toddlers should be aware that the rooms are all on different floors and connected by a cement staircase in the center of the home. If this is not a concern, then you will be treated to an authentic 'old world' Italian experience. We adored Luisella and Fermo - what a kind and generous couple! We are SO grateful for their hospitality. They welcomed us as if we were family and we will cherish them as if they are ours.

Lovely apartment with spectacular view. Friendly and responsive host. Especially liked the extra little things, like additional towels for swimming, and extra adapters for charging devices. Would be happy to come back.

Our stay at Manuele and Giorgia's apartment near Lake Como was absolutely wonderful! While there isn't a lake view directly from the apartment, its location more than makes up for it. We loved being able to walk to the lakefront within minutes, and there are so many fantastic restaurants just a stone's throw away. Bellagio was also a super short and easy drive, making day trips incredibly convenient. What truly set this place apart was the incredible thought Manuele and Giorgia have put into every detail. From extra towels to a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable furnishings, they've genuinely anticipated all the little things that make a stay comfortable and stress-free. It truly felt like a home away from home. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend their apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and truly welcoming base for exploring Lake Como!

Alessandra was absolutely amazing, not only while we were there, but leading up to our stay. It felt like we made a friend in Italy. She was friendly, communicative, and helpful! The airline lost our bags and she kept checking in to see if we had an update. She truly went above and beyond! The Airbnb was so clean and welcoming! Right across the street from Lake Como! Beautiful area! Would recommend to anyone!

Clean apartment with everything we needed for our trip. Beds were comfty and clean. A short walk to Bellagio (some hills involved FYI in case of mobility issues). Parking was convenient for us too.

We stayed at Francesca’s home for the first part of our honeymoon. Prior to our stay, we found Francesca to be very attentive, responsive and lovely to chat with. Her home is beautiful and is in a lovely area on Lake Como. There are many restaurants in walking distance as well as the town beach and a beach bar. The views are spectacular and the access to the beach is excellent. We would recommend this stay to anyone.

Everything was great, we'll be back! We were there with our three children, the surroundings with park and pool directly on the lake is perfect. For dinner, you can drive to Campione or Bissone. For daily needs, there is a Coop nearby. Also great as a starting point for excursions to Lugano, Como or Locarno! 5 stars gladly again!

We had a lovely, relaxing 3 night stay. The views from the balcony are spectacular. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool was nice and the lake is also lovely for a swim, right on the doorstep. The only thing I would say is it's quite a long walk to the nearest shop, restaurant and train station (1.5 km about 20 minutes walking) and it's along quite a busy road, with a very narrow footpath. We did it several times but it never got any easier. They did pick us up on arrival and drop us off at the station when we left, so that was a bonus. But I would recommend loading up on groceries and just chilling out at the apartment. Or phone a taxi. I would definitely recommend staying there though, just for the peace and quiet and magnificent views.

I cannot say enough good things about Vanessa’s place in Argegno. The town itself is a gem, away from the “hustle and bustle” of the town of Como but yet easily accessible by either ferry, bus, or taxi. Almost as if she painstakingly thought through everything a visitor might need, Vanessa’s note to us had quite literally everything we needed and more. The “more” was the extensive list of recommendations. We were there for a wedding and thought our limited free time would be spent strolling around the small town and perhaps a few hours on the lake on a boat ride. But when we saw that she had a great connection for a cooking class, we took advantage of this and had SUCH a great time. The property itself and walking to and from it always made us feel like we weren’t tourists but locals coming home. The properly had everything we needed, was super comfortable, and we especially loved having a glass of wine on the little outdoor seat & table. LOVED IT!

Top equipped accommodation, quiet environment and nice area numerous activities. Communication with the host was impeccable and even has good recommendations for restaurants! 👍 Glad to come back.

Any closer to the lake and you’d be wet. The views are spectacular, Varenna is an easy walk or the train station is across the road. (and up a bit, you can’t hear it) Rindo met us on arrival and gave us some good food recommendations. Comfortable bed, typical Italian electrics and a great place to watch the world go by. The car park is a bonus, if it becomes an option, I’d take it.

We were 5 ladies who had a wonderful time there! We celebrated 2 birthdays there and it was just perfect! Everything is within walking distance. However, we drove to the supermarket and were able to buy everything our hearts desired there. We can highly recommend this accommodation and will come back!

A very beautiful location at the Lago Maggiore. Ruth was very welcoming with great suggestions for restaurants. I would always come back to that place.

Great views of the lake from every window, access to the lake via the private dock, cozy sitting areas, outside barbecue, great decor inside. Everything you need! Of course, the house has character and charm, one or the other, because something creaks or closes not perfectly, sometimes the gas smell of the stove and heater rumbles, you can hear the overtenders rumbling and stand directly on the circular road around Lake Como when you walk through the gate and the motorcycles roar loudly past your ears. La dolce Vita just ;) But palm trees in the garden, the lake in front of you, sit in the morning with the coffee cup at the jetty, in the evening the view of the mountains that reflect the sunset. Argegno is cute. The smallest supermarket in the world ;) staircase, stairs, there is a safe walk to the village upstairs; the ferries regularly cross over to Bellagio, Nesso, Como, etc. and sometimes they don't drive. Hach, you wonderfully quirky Italy.

Was a great experience. Totally worth it!

The property is very centrally located. The lake, great restaurants and cafés are just a few minutes' walk away. You can explore the surroundings on foot or drive to neighboring towns in a few minutes. We were there with a baby, and that also worked wonderfully in the accommodation. There is an elevator, but it is very small. Therefore, you can either leave the stroller folded in the hallway (or carry it up the few steps and place it in the apartment). Top: modern equipment, air conditioning, washing machine for emergencies, many and large closets, in which you can store everything super and so can fully use the small size of the apartment. The location is really great! If you have difficulties with the garage like we did (Mercedes B Class in relation to the narrow garage was problematic), there are some free parking spaces in the immediate vicinity. Alessandro and his wife were very nice hosts.
