We spent a weekend climbing in the Ith. Ria's accommodation is perfect for this. Everything was as described and in the morning there were fresh eggs for breakfast. The property is large and beautiful and quiet. You can barbecue, splash in the pool and use the entire garden. What else could you ask for? We will be happy to come back. 😀

We were already in the accommodation a year ago. Nothing has changed our impression: Great apartment with a lot of comfort, the surroundings are fantastic. Ilona was again a very good and pleasant hostess. Furthermore, an absolute recommendation!

We stayed with our friends for the weekend. Combined we had 4 children. It was great for the kids playing outside and they had a great time. Highly recommended! Would love to come back.

A great place with a great host. I had a wonderful stay! The apartment is exactly as described in the pictures – clean, well equipped and super cozy. The attention to detail and the garden was particularly beautiful for me. The house is large and offers plenty of space. Janett was extremely friendly, helpful and always available if any questions came up. The location of the property is also perfect for exploring the area. I highly recommend this place to anyone and I'd love to come back!

It was the best we've experienced as a group so far. There is so much to discover in the entire complex. Everything has been decorated with an attention to detail. Everyone was super super friendly. The restaurant and wellness area are absolutely amazing.

We were in this beautiful holiday home for an extended weekend with 13 people. We felt very comfortable. Everything was clean and above all the children were super happy and could play in the beautiful garden with the toys. The Bach was a particular highlight. We will be happy to come back.

Great oasis for a few days with friends or family. Plenty of space for everyone and especially the garden is a great treasure! If you like it quiet and rural, this is the place to be.

We had booked two nights as a family (4 people) and were very satisfied with the equipment and size of the apartment. The cleanliness of the premises is particularly noteworthy and bakery/ restaurants are within walking distance. In short, we had a very nice weekend and would book with Anita again at any time. There were three of us in the cute house and there was plenty of room. Perfect location right by the forest in the immediate vicinity of the Externsteine and a lot of beautiful hiking trails through the Teutoburg Forest. Unreservedly recommended.

Very nice, top furnished chalet with attention to the details. We enjoyed the days here very much, great location overlooking the Sauerland. High-quality modern but still cozy furnishings, the sauna overlooking the mountains is the highlight. We will be happy to come back :)

We were three couples plus children. The accommodation is much better than you can capture with photos. It is really perfectly suited to families. The toys are great, great books, great garden with a mega trampoline. It was just perfect for us. We wanted to spend a lot of time there, despite the changeable weather, we were busy with everyone at all times, both indoors and outdoors. The kitchen is excellently equipped. If you want to look for something that's "missing", then labels on the cabinets, where something is inside. The kitchens are huge and there is soooo much. :-D So, thank you, thank you, thank you. We are looking in our calendar to see when we can come back. Best regards

This is one of the most amazing Airbnb’s I’ve had the privilege of staying in. Me and my dad came to play golf and found much more. The atmosphere on the estate is breathing heritage combined with luxury where everything is thought it into the tiny details. Georg and Sophie are both very kind people and have taken extra care to make us feel at home and welcome. The garden and views over the estate were stunning every corner we walked. As if you were coming to your own vacation home! Lovable and prompt contact with the landlords, extremely cozy and equipped with everything you can think of, opportunities to buy food/wood at extremely fair prices. We hiked directly from the house to Lake Edersee, etc., quaint forests with oaks and beeches, great! In the morning, a sunrise over the green hills in swaths of fog, which can be seen from bed. The large, well-divided site with fireplace and good forest sauna, swing etc. offered more than we could use in the short time! We will be back! Thank you Martina & Michael!

If you want to be on your own, this is the place to be. For the arrival, just follow Mareike's instructions, then it will work great! You can reach many shopping facilities in 5 minutes by car. They were really relaxing days! Only the TV reception was poor to non-existent due to the covered satellite dish - but hey, in the beautiful area, it's only a disadvantage in the dark :)

We were two with our dog for a week in the accommodation of Beatrix and felt super comfortable. At check-in, the family was on site and showed us everything. We were received in a very friendly and warm manner. In the accommodation we lacked nothing, everything was very clean, beautifully furnished and the location is beautiful. The only criticism: We would have liked to have been prepared for the fact that 4 goats are directly on the property. This took a bit of nerve the first two days, because our dog is very motivated to hunt and we had to show her that the goats were not to be eaten. 😅 But with a lot of management, we were able to let them run freely on the beautiful property. We will definitely return! (:

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Sascha and Sarah were great hosts, both are very friendly and warm people. Already on the first day, Sarah offered to clean and brush out the ponies, even though she hardly knew us. She did a great job of pony riding. Sascha was also always approachable if something came up. The place is very nice, everything necessary is available. Everything was super clean, you felt right at home. You can tell they put a lot of effort into it. Because the stud of the two is a little remote, you had peace and quiet. But various excursion destinations can also be reached in a relatively short time. Personal recommendations: Steinhuder Meer, Dino-Park Münchehagen and the Ströhen Zoo. For families, we can recommend Sascha and Sarah as hosts and their place - we'll be back for sure!

After 2023, we were finally in this wonderful house for the second time, where you can feel the spirit of over 300 years. We - and also the children - felt absolutely comfortable. To avoid writing too much, here is a brief list of the many highlights: - Very high-quality and well thought-out equipment - Great room layout and perfectly restored original timber-framed style - wonderfully close to nature with river access on the property. You can observe rare birds, deer and raccoons and enjoy almost untouched nature - calm and friendly neighbourhood - A perfect place to leave the stress of the big city behind - The stunning Externsteine are very close In short: A perfect place!

We spent an extended weekend in this great house for 8 and were completely thrilled, especially by the diverse and large lounges and the park-like outdoor area. The equipment is more than extensive and we missed nothing. The house with its ambience and tasteful furnishings is truly unique. Anne gave a tour of the house, as well as tips on shopping and dining options in the area. She was also always available for questions. We definitely want to come back.

We had a wonderful weekend in Warburg, it was perfect for our needs and exceeded our expectations in several ways. Warburg is a very pretty town with an old town where the accommodation was located. We rented all three apartments in the beautiful half-timbered house to spend a weekend with our adult children. Everyone had their own area, but in the top apartment there was also the possibility to eat together at a large table and play in the evening. That was great. The apartments are very tastefully and modernly furnished, we didn't miss anything. David is a very courteous, patient and nice host who has not tired of answering my many questions in advance in a friendly manner. The surroundings of Warburg are also super beautiful, so absolutely worth a trip!!

The house is really super clean, modern and yet cozy. The garden is fenced, which is great for dogs. If you like peace and quiet and want to hike, this is the place to be 🤩

Super nice! Idyllic, large meadow by the house great for ball game or frisbee, several creeks by the house + various cozy places. Inside everything very tasteful, nice mix of old + new, lots of wooden beams, very different room heights. Upstairs 2 bathrooms, one with a bathtub. Toilet on the ground floor would be more practical, especially since the stairs are a little special, just old building. The remnants of the former mill right by the house ensure a clearly audible perpetual sludge. You can't hear cars passing by at some distance. Directly around the house there are only meadows, water, trees, fields as well as the neighboring house with 2 (?) other apartments. Lots of beautiful views. Brilon can be reached in 5 minutes by car, but you feel very nice to yourself due to the valley location. Weak Wi-Fi, which is noticeable during music streaming and use of the media library, for example. Good fully automatic coffee machine. With all the small criticism or ideas for improvement: we felt very comfortable!
