Villa holiday rentals in Sorrento Peninsula

First..the property was absolutely breathtaking, not going to lie, there are many steps getting to the villa but worth it…the whole town is full of steps but the small town of 600 is charming. Miriam and Francesca were wonderful hosts, always available for anything we needed. I would definitely recommend this villa.

We loved our stay here. Sorrento, Amalfi coast, and Positano are not for the faint of heart if you are not used to lots of steps or elevation changes. This home provided the perfect reprieve from the heat (we visited in the middle of June and caught a heatwave), the crazy roads (don't rent a car unless you are prepared mentally!) and the hustle and bustle of tourists. We were just close enough to everything to drive, take the bus, walk, or rent a boat, but also far enough that the morning and evenings were quiet and calm. The private entrance to the beach was lovely, we dipped into the water several times, but the beach location was also close, not too far for a drink and a lounge chair rental. While we only rented for two people, both rooms were very spacious, the kitchen perfect for coffee and quick reheat of foods. The staff was helpful checking us in, giving us guidance on where to go and what to do, and always ready to answer any questions we had.

After a busy week at other locations this was the perfect place to end our vacation. When we arrived I told my husband this was the Italy I had been dreaming of. A peaceful, beautiful, small villa. We spent time in the small village, enjoying wonderful food and lots of time just relaxing by the pool. We went in a boat tour to Amalfi and Positano which we enjoyed but I couldn’t wait to get back to our villa and just enjoy the beauty and peace. The only negative was the neighbor’s barking dogs at night.

Beautiful villa in S’agnello and a very responsive host who accommodated our almost midnight check in due to a three hour train delay from La Spezia to Naples. She shared options for tours around Amalfi as also numbers of taxi operators which was super useful. There was olenty of space for our family of five and lovely views from the Balcony. Air conditioning was very effective. Only word of caution is that we had a lot of luggage so the 45 step climb to the apartment was a rough one and I would not recommend to folks with a lot of luggage but this is something we knew before we booked. All in all a very memorable stay in a beautiful villa with a wonderful garden.

Not only did we love the beautiful and charming town of Ravello, but we absolutely loved our stay at Villa Enza! The gardens, patio, and views of the neighboring town of Scala were truly breathtaking and even more beautiful than the pictures. Our children enjoyed picking fresh lemons from the garden and making fresh lemonade. And the town’s piazza was only a few minutes walk away, which was extremely convenient. This place was a highlight during our stay on the Amalfi Coast, and we would absolutely stay here again if we ever return to beautiful Ravello!

We enjoyed everything about our stay at Valerio’s and hope to be back one day soon!

What a beautiful place to stay. Teresa was such an accommodating and helpful host and helped us with restaurant recommendations, help with getting a taxi and most importantly helped getting our luggage to the apartment and back down to the ferry upon our departure. The location is wonderful and beautiful, but there are many stairs to go down and up so be aware that would be involved each time you leave the apartment. The view from the apartment was absolutely stunning and worth every step we climbed! I would recommend this apartment 1000%.

From the moment we arrived Luigi and his family were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. On our first evening we were given 2 enormous freshly baked pizzas. Most welcome after a long day travelling here. As a party of five adults we stayed for two weeks and glad we did. The views from the Terrace were amazing, with spectacular sunsets. From the large deck and pool areas you can quietly relax and enjoy views of the sea or mountains. At meal times the fabulous gas Webber BBQ was greatly appreciated. Inside the rooms, there were some charming, decorative features which added to the ambience of the property. A large open kitchen/lounge area provides a lovely social space. From the property was a fabulous walk with amazing views over the Bay of Naples and Versuvius. The small village nearby is very friendly but as mentioned in other reviews a small car is essential which our hosts also helped us to arranged.

Positano Paradise! 🤩 Laura's Villa exceeded expectations! Stunning interiors, breathtaking views from the immense terrace 🌊🏙️. Exceptional hosts Laura and Luca were - responsive, helpful & provided insider tips on restaurants, beaches & local activities. Homemade dinner on the patio was a highlight with Luca and his wife🌟. Meatballs & local fish dishes were divine! 🍴 10/10 would stay again. Highly recommend for unparalleled beauty & hospitality ❤️. Perfect base for Italian getaway. Unforgettable experience, can't wait to return! 😊

A wonderful stay at Il Carrubo. Great villa and amazing location. You definitely need a car but would recommend something small for the last 800 metres. The local town of St Agata is brilliant with a really friendly local community, some great restaurants/cafes, a supermarket and some fantastic local grocery stores selling some beautiful fresh produce. Easy access to Sorrento for the train up to Pompei and found a great car park near the station at circa €25 per day. Raffaella and Loredana were great hosts and were always quick to answer any queries or offer any tips etc. All in all, an amazing stay and an amazing villa in an amazing location. Thank you so much.

Gorgeous house, charming town, beautiful views! We absolutely loved our stay here. Simone was a gracious host. Her niece met us when we got there and showed us everything. We spent a lot of time on the outside patio, enjoying the views. We appreciated the A/C in the bedrooms! The kitchen and house were both well stocked. We would definitely stay here again. We had some of our favorite meals in Vico Equense, based on Simone's recommendations. The bakery at the top of the steps was amazing! Such a lovely town, we don't speak much Italian and everyone was so patient and kind. What a great way to end our vacation!

The house is in a glorious setting with a wonderful view over the bay. Breakfast in the sun then shade for the afternoon. The one thing to be aware of is a product of its location- you need to go up and down steps to the car parking and also be aware the steps that go down to the gate onto the lower road to enable you to avoid walking around the hairpin bend it nestles in side of - lots more steps! Despite this its one heck of a setting but if your knees are a problem, think carefully! The house was comfortable and well presented. Antonio provided mass's of recommendations on behalf of Tiziana and was also willing to adjust the cleaners arrival to give us a few hours extra as our flight home was later in the day. He was very quick to respond too. As a location to take in Capri and also the coast to Positano by using the local boat company down in the bay it was excellent. We also used the bus to go to Sorrento from by the house for 1.5 Euro each way!

Daniela was the best host!! 🫶🏻 She welcomed us with open arms and even decorated the place for us as we were celebrating a birthday. She picked us up when we got to Sorrento and dropped us off too. She truly cares about the guests, her service is exceptional. The property has amazing views, same views as in the pictures and is very very clean. The only thing we didn’t love was the walk-in to the property as there is a small hill, specifically at night, it was a little dark. However, if you’re planning on renting a scooter or a small car you should be fine. We were told the area is very secure and safety. We loved our time in Sorrento and would definitely recommend this property.

We had a lovely stay in the villa, highlight definitely being the outside area. Able to walk to the centre in around 15-20 mins and taxis were usually €25-30 for a single trip back up the hill. The villa was very clean and Fortunata was very helpful with any queries and check in/ check out!

A very beautiful place perfect for our family of 4 with two adult daughters. The location was great when traveling by ferry, as it is at the base of Positano just above the beach. It made traveling to Capri, for a day trip, very easy to access the ferry. The highlight was definitely the patio! Not sure how many other rentals have a large patio like this one! We loved having our morning coffee with the beautiful views, and 3 out of the 4 nights we went to the small grocery store (The Wine Shop, a 2 minute walk - with everything you need, and a wonderful staff!) and bought fresh produce, meats and cheese and had dinners on the patio, using the beautiful ceramic dishes! We ran out of coffee pods and the hosts hand delivered them to our door! This airbnb was a splurge (everything is expensive in Positano) during our travels in Italy, but worth it!

This is a beautiful location, peaceful and tranquil. The facilities outside are fantastic. The beds were comfortable and although there is no AC there were fans. We would have liked a parasol available round the pool area but there are ample places to be fine to relax in the shade.

There are a lot of villas to search through in Sorrento, but really you should stop your search here. This location was absolutely perfect: views of the ocean, Mt Vesuvius, and the sunset; extremely helpful and kind hosts; beautiful gardens; and amenities to make you feel completely relaxed. Carlo and Emanuela have put so much time and care into making Villa Carolina an absolute pleasure to stay at. Recommend for anyone heading to Sorrento that wants to experience an Italian villa!

Massimo,francesca and family are the perfect hosts. They are so helpful and go above and beyond. Their villa is an ideal location for exploring this stunning area of italy. The villa is spacious,the court yard is ideal to sit and relax,roof terrace has a wonderful sea view with sun loungers. The pool is just an added bonus. A perfect villa to either relax or an ideal base to explore the amalfi coast. I must also mention valentina who was also so helpful and informative. Do not hesitate in booking this villa you will enjoy every second you spend here.

What a dream vacation! Simone was very nice and helpful, gave us a lot of useful information about restaurants around us, helped us book transport and supplied us with water on the late evening we arrived without anything to drink. He is a very friendly host and very professional. The apartment is way nicer than what you see on the pictures, it is a little oasis in the middle of Massa Lubrense. The pool is clean, the beds are comfy and the lemon trees in your own garden are beautiful. We had one of our best vacations here and we can easily recommend this apartment to anyone! Our stay at the villa was perfect. It is easy to reach near towns such as Sorrento, Piano di Sorrento, Naples, Pompeii and Positano via car. I would highly recommend hiring a small car; we had a 4-door corsa which was just small enough to navigate the narrow drive-way and roads. The villa itself is clean and tidy with everything that you need such as a washing machine, oven and hob, spacious fridge, 3 bathrooms, two bedrooms and a large decking area. We really enjoyed using the barbecue and pool. The pool is completely private and is only a few steps away from the house. Nunzia was very responsive and answered all our enquires promptly. Umberto also answered our enquiries prior to our stay and gave us great recommendations for car hire and excursions. Overall, I think this place is definitely worth the price and allowed us to have a great week in Italy.

Pierluigi was really helpful and the villa is amazing. We had great views and loved walking into town to get fresh fish for the barbeque. The hike down to the closest beach was a good work out and totally worth it. Couldn't have asked for more.

Alberto’s place is absolutely gorgeous. A convenient location and such a lovely property, that despite being so well-situated, we stayed in quite a few nights and made use of the jacuzzi and BBQ. Alberto was a friendly host and turned up on our 2nd morning with fresh pastries and 2 more sets of keys without us even having to ask for them. We would highly recommend this airbnb and will hopefully be back in the future. Thanks again Alberto

This was our second time here, unfortunately only for 5 nights this time as part of a longer trip. We love it here, so peaceful and traditional Italian village unspoilt by tourists. There are 3 excellent restaurants, 2 small supermarkets and a couple of bars, a pharmacy and an excellent cake and ice cream shop. Sorrento is an easy 25 minute bus ride away. Another couple of villages are even closer so we didn’t bother with a car. This is an exceptional property. Very clean and well equipped with an excellent well maintained garden for relaxing. Giancarlo is the perfect host, not intrusive but always available to help and advise, booking taxis etc. we hope to return one day.
