Very nice place to stay on Baptiste lake… peaceful and pretty!

Lynn was amazing. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The only negative if I had to give one is the 64 stairs from beach to the apartment, but we worked off some of the snacks. They offered a grill and hot tub. The location was peaceful. We would definitely return.

Our stay at Our Place Up North was lovely--quiet--and peaceful. We found the unit filled with excellent things needed for a time away--from the kitchen, to the living/sitting area, bedroom and bathroom. We enjoyed the fireplace and comfortable seating. Debbie is a thoughtful host and communicated well. She left some snacks and a few items to get started with, like coffee and tea. Everything was clean and beautifully arranged. I recommend Debbie as a host.

Incredible place! Definitely a kind host who makes check in easy. The place is walking distance to the restaurant behind it, and many other places in town. I felt right at home and enjoyed the view. Had a cute map of the town in the kitchen. Had some games and books to use. Would book again!

The location is surrounded by nature and close to Algonquin Park — perfect for those who enjoy peace, nature, and outdoor activities. The area felt safe and was convenient for getting around. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature!

We always try to stay here when we visit the Bancroft area. It just works for us: exactly what we need, always clean and a unique setting. St Ola's Station (across Highway 62) is a great resource with grocery items, gas, and LCBO/Beer Store supplies.

Wonderful experience from start to the end. Lisa goes above and beyond with best accommodation and recommendations. Felt like we came home and enjoyed peaceful and beautiful surroundings. My favorite place was by the dock, surrounded by clear waters and greenery for miles. We had enjoyed taking daily canoe trips, visiting waterfall as per Lisa’s recommendation! Thanks again! The photos don't do the cottage justice. It was absolutely gorgeous. We were two couples, a toddler, and a dog, and we all had plenty of space and options for sleeping arrangements. We had gorgeous weather, but the rec room was packed with activities if we would've been stuck inside. Would absolutely recommend this place and would love to book again in the future!

Had a great stay during a long weekend with my girlfriend. The place was clean, the view was gorgeous, and the public access point was great for people watching. Met the owners and they were very friendly too.

Chris was very flexible with check out and making our check in time earlier. He was very responsive and clear on instructions with whatever was needed. Property was beautiful and the inside was clean. This stay would something even more beautiful in a month when the dock is put in and the water isn’t freezing! Highly recommend

The lake house was a lovely stay. First of all, the lakefront is beautiful and I enjoyed dangling my feet in the water and watching the sunset from the fire pit. The space inside was immaculate, comfortable, well-designed, and spacious. I let Andrea know the WiFi router had an issue, and within minutes she was on the phone with the company resolving the issue for me. I definitely recommend this home and would gladly stay here again.

A beautiful cottage on a pristine lake. Beautiful spacious well equipped deck overlooking a swimable sandy beach front. You can walk out into the lake in what seems to be forever enjoying a sandy bottom - no weeds, no rocks!! Comfy fire pit and bbq conveniently located near the beach. Cottage was bright, open concept with a modern kitchen, great appliances and expansive dining room table for great gatherings and game nights. Three comfy bedrooms and clean washroom. Great communication with Tania. Very responsive. Will definitely consider returning next summer. Thoroughly enjoyed our week at the cottage.

We were so happy to stay at this cottage! The house was cozy and welcoming, and both our child and our dog had an amazing time. It was the perfect place for a fun and relaxing family getaway. We would love to come back again!

We had a lovely stay at this cozy cottage right across the lake. The space was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the basic necessities. Kees was very responsive whenever we had questions, and we even got a chance to meet him while we were leaving. He is such a kind and welcoming person. The peaceful location and beautiful view made it a perfect getaway. Would definitely recommend!

Jane and Lori were amazing hosts and the property was beautiful! It had everything we needed from kitchen supplies to beach chairs and sports equipment! The area is very secluded in nature and it was very quiet and peaceful! The house was also very clean and comfy!
