The house is the same in the photos. The biggest advantage is the location, right on the beach. The cottages are at the end of a large beach in agonda so it's quiet and secluded. The restaurant run by the host offers delicious food with an amazing view of the sea, sunsets and the sound of the waves. If I were to go back to agonda, I would definitely stay here :)

Samith was extremely helpful and responsive. The hotel is beautiful and we chose to stay in the stylish wooden beach chalets. As an eco lodge, there is no air conditioning but the fans and chalets were perfectly cool. There is also no heated water but so the showers are warmer in the afternoon on a hot day but cold all day if it’s a cloudy day! Kalpitiya is very windy, and therefore, a great destination for kite surfing which was really fun, even for a beginner! It is a great alternative if you want some peace and quiet. The food was fantastic, especially if you happen to be there for their bbq nights which has seasonal produce including fresh fish, squid, prawns, chicken etc. The only slight criticism is that some stretches of beach are littered with plastic, which is common to other parts of Sri Lanka, although it is clear that the hotel has made efforts to go green and I would thoroughly recommend it!

Rajwardhan's farm is a huge property, and ideal for those who are seeking serenity. He along with his staff are super hospitable and make sure your are having a good time. Its a thoughtfully planned and managed place, clean and comfortable rooms, beautiful villa and landscaping, yummy food and excellent service. Waking up to Chirping of birds, spotting peacocks, strolling around the farm, and the River around the farm are some of the super awesome experiences. For agro enthusiast they have many varieties of crops and also a hydrophonics section. There is no/ limited mobile network coverage there...a boon in disguise.

This is a fabulous place right off the beaten track. Not close to any restaurants but you don’t need to worry as the food they serve in house is OFF the scale good. Best food we’ve eaten. Loads of temples and elephants a short rickshaw driveway. And you can swim in the river which has a beach. Raja the host was very informative and helpful.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mandrem, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked through the doors, the staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable.

This place is AMAZING. Stunning location on the water, incredible cheap food and massive portions, lovely staff, the comfiest beds, gorgeous free toiletries, beautiful pool. They even have an onsite shop where they offer to tailor what you buy! Best place we stayed in Kerala.

Wij verbleven twee nachten bij de Hideout, maar ik was er graag nog langer gebleven als dat mogelijk was geweest! Ik heb het hier erg naar mijn zin gehad! Dit appartement bij de Hideout ligt op een prachtige plek tussen de rijstvelden. Vanaf een uitkijkpunt kan je deze mooi zien liggen. Ontbijt, lunch en diner is ontzettend lekker. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk, staat altijd voor je klaar en wil je overal mee helpen. Ze hebben een groot en schoon zwembad, om lekker in af te koelen. En het gehele terrein waar de appartementen op te vinden zijn, is erg sfeervol. Het appartement heeft alles wat je nodig hebt; lekker bed, warme douche, veel ruimte. Ook het appartement is schoon. Het is een rustige omgeving dus je hebt geen tot weinig last van omgevingsgeluiden. De Hideout is een paradijs tussen de rijstvelden! Ik kan het appartement iedereen aanraden!

The only noise that may probably break the stillness of your profound meditation would be the chirpy hummingbirds or the whispering leaves in the refreshing cool breeze... ‘Humming Breeze’, earlier known by the name ‘Humming Birds’ is a sprawling 6-acre thickly wooded hillside property overlooking the magnificent Brahmagiri Mountain range. Situated about 6km west of Mananthawady town on Kannur road easily accessible by a motorable road, your home away from home is a delight for anyone who loves admiring nature in stillness. The property has a numerous variety of fruit-bearing trees and flowers carefully brought and nurtured by these wonderful nature-loving Property owners. The uniqueness of this resort building is its extremely spacious construction, utilizing some of the exotic heritage woodwork from across the Malabar region and some of the windows and doors in its construction were over 200 years old. My wife and I stayed here for 7 nights and I specifically wanted to try out a Work-from-Anywhere protocol on a trial basis. The double room that I stayed was very modern, spacious, airy, and had a breathtaking view of the Brahmagiri Mountain ranges. The property had great Wi-Fi connectivity and I did not miss even a single video call due to any bandwidth issues. Very homely simple Kerala Breakfast was served as part of the package, and the rest of the meals we cooked when we got time in their fully equipped industrial kitchen. The owners of the property were very responsive and were extremely supportive of our needs. Vipin the caretaker for the property was also very helpful, and was available every time we needed any assistance. It was a dreamlike experience to work and enjoy a lovely holiday at the same time, and I would highly recommend everyone to try out this experience at least once!

very good place

We had an amazing time at this property! It’s literally a piece of Bali that you can experience in Andaman. The staff, service and food all are fantastic! It has a secret beach which is at a 15 minute hike from the property. It’s an absolutely stunning beach and completely un crowded! The only drawback of this place is the location. It is really far from the mainland and there are literally no shops or restaurants nearby at all. It is very inconvenient and expensive if you need to go the mainland or to any sightseeing places as taxis or autos charge higher prices due to the location and bad road. Other than that, if you are only going to stay inside the villa, it is worth every penny!

This place is so awesome you should plan a trip to Varkala just to enjoy this resort - the food, the staff, the location, the grounds -- amazing!

Excellent Stay at Carina Beach Resort. I recently stayed at Carina Beach Resort. I must say that it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived until our departure, every aspect of my stay was top-notch. I rode my cycle from Bangalore to goa and reached the resort at 10pm. Neville's team were all ready with the rooms cleaned, AC turned on for me to just crash on the bed after a 40hr ride. The staff were incredibly friendly and also allowed me to take my cycle inside the room. The Resort is situated in a prime location 5min walk to beachfront. Walking distance to restaurants and beach side shacks. Neville is a great host.

메니저와 직원들은 너무나도 친절했고 관광지나 모든 주변에 대한 정보를 친절하게 알려주었다. 숙소는 깨끗하고 주변의 자연경관 또한 훌륭했으며 캔디로가는 버스정류장이 일분 거리에 있어 편안했고 직원들은 버스정류장까지 배웅해주었다. 너무나도 친절하고 아름다운 위치의 숙소에 머무를 수 있어서 우리가족에게 큰 행복을 주었다. 너무 감사합니다

it's beautiful place

The 4 studio room apartment was spacious enough for our group of 10, and the shared swimming pool was a nice bonus. Arambol beach was a walking distance away where we spent a good time watching sunset, also Querim caves were 15 minutes drive away from this resort. Overall situated at the right juncture with sufficient amneties.

War ein schöner Aufenthalt im Resort. Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen, jedoch super schön. Arbeiten kann man leider dort nicht, weil das Internet dort zu schwach ist, weshalb wir leider früher abreisen mussten. Wenn man sich dort entspannen will und gleichzeitig sich wie zuhause fühlen müssen, dann ist das genau der richtige Ort. Das Personal ist unfassbar freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Alleine aus diesem Grund werden wir nochmal zu besuch kommen. Zum entspannen und runterkommen ist es genau das richtige Ziel.

Wonderful place to stay.. had a great time.. The amenities were good, staff is helpful, breakfast was delicious and best part is it is a beach side property. Will surely get back next time as well!!

The resort is beautiful with good amenities. The food is amazing, one must try the items from the menu. Great taste, from the main course to sweet everything was worth trying. The breakfast was well served with a variety of cuisine.Their staff is polite and approachable. At every point, from Reception, Housekeeping, Restaurant, Spa, travel desk staff did a wonderful job.Though there is a little language barrier for North Indians, it was manageable as the staff was quite accommodating.They have a private beach around 15 minutes away, and pick and drop service is available from the resort. Shree Jagannath Puri temple is apprx 8 km away. If traveling by flight, train, or bus, one must plan accordingly as the resort is in the outskirts, 8 km before Puri. Though we booked a cab, if one prefers an auto, I heard that there are autos available right outside the resort as it is on the main road. The resort is surrounded by lots of greenery and has multiple garden areas. There is a poolside bar.

Awesome stay with stunning views from the rooms. Their continental food and buffet spread is fantastic. All activities like Cultural programmes ( Kuchipudi) , cooking classes in the evening, campfire and their high tea with a view were very thoughtful and much appreciative. Their swimming pool is neat and outside candle light dinner spot was good though couldn’t try as it needs to be pre booked before arrival. Courteous staffs especially Harish, Aleena and Maya in the reception were very helpful throughout the stay, they were kind and easily approachable. Room service were prompt and very reliable anytime. Overall a pleasant stay at Mountain courtyard and very memorable moments .

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The space is much larger and more beautiful than the photos suggest. Everything is thoughtfully designed and well-maintained, making it super comfortable for our group of six. A big shoutout to the caretaker, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home and served us some truly delicious home-cooked meals. Highly recommended if you're looking for a peaceful and cozy getaway near Bangalore!

The best hospitality, very calm and soothing place, friendly staff and the breakfast and tea was soothing. Mr.Rajan and Rajgopal were responsive, looking forward to visiting again!!
