On the way to The Townsend, you'll pass roadside farmstands and open fields. This meticulously restored farmhouse, located on the Cohansey River, features waterfront views in every room in the house so you can unwind, reflect and enjoy the company of family and friends. Outside you'll find a fire pit, hot tub and large field, perfect for outdoor activities. A quick 3 mile drive takes you to the historic town of Greenwich. Life is better by the water—especially in Sweetwater! Welcome to our charming, rustic cottage nestled in the heart of the NJ Pine Barrens, just steps from the scenic Mullica River. While our cottage isn’t directly on the river, you’ll enjoy partial river views and easy access to multiple riverfront spots, all within walking distance. Plus, we’re just a short stroll from the popular Sweetwater Riverdeck and Marina, which is open seasonally and hosts special events throughout the year.

While updated photography is coming soon, guests booking now will be among the first to enjoy the refreshed space, including a brand new kitchen, all new windows, and an updated primary bathroom. As a courtesy, current rates are being held until new photography is released. Early reservations offer the opportunity to experience the full update at existing pricing.

Explore the Egg Harbor River ecosystem. Paddle boat use is gratis. Canoe, paddles & safety vests available for $20 your entire stay. Atlantic City and Philly just 30 miles away. Wrap around deck puts great outdoors just outside the lakeside patio.
