We immediately felt right at home and welcomed by Regina and Scott. From the well organized binder of information to every amenity one might need, this is THE place to spend a week. When not running out to the sites on the Big Island, this property will meet all your needs. The room was quiet and had easy access. We could easily walk to town or have dinner on our private lanai while watching the sunset. When the staff blows the conch shells at sunset, all will be right in your world.

Angela was very responsive in the Airbnb’s app! Whenever we had an issue, ie confused the building number (due to jet lag), had a small mishap with the washing machine, or any other questions, she was always quick to reply and came over one night to problem solve the washing machine issue. It was easy, she was flexible with our schedule and very kind! She was also very accommodating for us having two little ones, she had two pack n plays set out with fresh sheets and brand new looking blankets for our arrival. Bathroom had basics items like bath washes, bubble bath, lotion, assortment of sunscreens etc. we especially enjoyed the Tommy Bahama cooler backpack for our long days at Kona beaches. This listing is on Ali’I Dr and therefore close to an assortment of local needs (Walmart for affordable groceries and several beach accesses.) Sometimes the studio was not very toddler friendly- but that is a reflection of our wildling NOT ANGELA! We would easily come again just 2 of us.

From start to finish, Rex was a communicative, responsive, friendly host. Their condo is spectacular! All the modern amenities, peaceful, and right on the water, with an incredible wrap around lanai, to enjoy breakfast on, and spectacular sunsets. I'd book this gorgeous place in a heartbeat! We had our anniversary here...so perfect! Thanks Rex, for the lovely stay!

Appreciated our visit so much! Clean, cute, and we loved the outdoor kitchen, hot tub, ocean view deck, fresh fruits and pool. Truly a wonderful experience!

We've stayed in this condo complex last year for Merrie Monarch and really like the location. The view was amazing! Walking distance to restaurants/coffee shop we frequent. Everything was clean and we appreciated having access to netflix, etc, when relaxing at night. We never cooked, but noted that the kitchen was well stocked. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay in the unit again.

We wish we could give this place more than 5 stars because it was beyond what we imagined. We stayed as a family of four and it was the perfect place to be for a nice five days of vacation. There were two bathrooms and two showers as well as two private bedrooms. There is everything you need for comfort, extra blankets and towels to use. On top of that, the washer and dryer in unit was a gem.The kitchen is so well equipped that we cooked without trouble and ate at the dining table with an amazing view of the sea. The water is literally right outside the lanai with nothing blocking your view. We spent most of our time in the living room because of the beautiful ocean view. The location is great with downtown Kona as a 5-10 min drive or a nice stroll. Marta was also so responsive and kind, and had everything organized and instructions detailed down. We would stay here again if we ever visit Big Island again!

We arrived late, but Linda kindly waited to welcome my daughter and me to her very comfortable studio. The studio has everything you need for a stay of several days—or even weeks—surrounded by nature, with the sounds of coqui frogs and roosters that are part of the authentic Hawaiian experience. Linda was always available for any questions or requests, while remaining discreet. A short drive brings you to some of the best spots on this amazing island!

Outstanding air bnb. My family and I loved staying here. We slept well in the cozy beds, ate well in the amazing kitchen and lounged beautifully all around. I adored the full size ld and brand new washer and dryer! Absolutely a hidden gem of all gems. Well appointed in every way. And we even fell in love with the sweet neighbor pup who thoughtfully greeted us daily. Kenya has a great property (with a spectacular view) and a kindness that is steeped into her home, her instruction, and her hospitality. Absolutely 10/10. We would return!!! Actually I would stay anywhere else on the big island. Thank you so much, Kenya!

Super close to the beautiful magic sands beach and only 10 minutes away from manta ray snorkeling which was an amazing experience!!! Nice central spot for all the stops we had planned across the island. Howard was so friendly!

We had the most magical week at Maryanne's home, would 100% recommend - we'll be back! The condo is even better than photos, it's spacious, well furnished and equipped, cozy and has the most amazing view. This has to be one of the best spots on Ali'i drive because you have an unobstructed view of the ocean and you can walk across the street for tacos (every day), and fruit/flower/fresh baked goods on Fri/Sat/Sun -- and a few minutes down the road is Da Poke Shack... so good! It's really easy to jump in the car and head down to Magic Sands for some boogie boarding, our favorite morning activity. We came with our baby and 8 year old and the condo was perfect for our family of four. Although shades are not technically black out, they keep the rooms very dark and we rarely noticed any street noise. Loved the pool and we used the pool table a lot as well. Maryanne has a stocked closet full of beach goodies (snorkels, boogies, etc) as well as tons of beach towels. Overall, amazing!

I was impressed - by the cleanliness, the surroundings (the grounds are beautiful), the quiet / serinity, the thoroughly stocked: 1) food and cooking needs (oils, spices, rice, popcorn, dishes, pots, pans, storage containers, etc), 2) beach closet (beach towels, masks and snorkels, umbrellas, chairs,etc.), 3) bathroom (even emergency supplies), 4) laundry soap. Eric has thought of everything!

Thanks for the great stay. Your place is AWESOME! It was a great launch point for our Mauna Kea summit and we will forever have great memories attached here. All the personal touches make this place soo special, thanks for putting so much thought into it. We really loved the beach equipment, Emma was grateful for the umbrella. Our baby, Amelia, loved the beach toys and all of us enjoyed dinner out on the lanai. This place has us already thinking about coming back to the big island. Thanks again for an excellent stay!

Fantastic condo. Bed was very comfortable. Loved having 2 bathrooms. Beach amenities were in closet, so no need to buy any. Coffee pot and electric kettle for hot tea was very appreciated. AC was quiet and kept the condo comfortable. There are some good restaurants next door. Loved the covered parking. Washer and dryer in the unit was a huge plus. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great day at Kristen and Dan’s spot. I highly recommend. Walkable to lots of local spots. Perfect home base for lots of Hawaii adventures. Very comfortable and nice to return to AC after a long day in the sun.

Lennis really cares about the comfort of her guests, and it shows through every effort she put into the condo to make us feel at home. The condo was spotlessly clean—no sand, no bugs—which is rare in Hawaii. We are light sleepers and were a little worried about staying on the first floor; surprisingly, we barely heard any footsteps from the upstairs neighbor. Lennis was also very responsive to our requests and proactively went beyond our needs to make it an incredible stay. Sometimes, it’s obvious when an Airbnb host provides only the bare minimum to make money, but Lennis was completely the opposite. From the kitchen tools and towels to the miscellaneous amenities, everything was high quality and something I would use at home for my own comfort. We had a great extended stay in Kona! Mahalo.

If you are looking for a great place to stay during your trip to Kona this is the place. The condo is newly remodeled and looks amazing. The biggest point is the beautiful view from the lanai with comfortable seating to read and watch the ocean. You can see turtles and watch local surfers catch waves from the lanai.

We had a wonderful stay at Erika's place. The location is absolutely perfect - walking distance to Kona's main attractions, supermarkets, and restaurants, which made exploring the area so convenient. Erika provided crystal-clear check-in instructions, making our arrival completely hassle-free. The space was immaculate and thoughtfully prepared with a well-stocked kitchen that included all the essentials - cooking oil, condiments, quality pots and pans, and more. These thoughtful touches made it feel like a home away from home. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting the area and would happily stay here again!

Great location, clean, was as described. Only downside is the walls are thin as said in previous reviews.

It was an amazing facility, just looked exactly liked described. Todd was proactive in sending info required for check-in. Well maintained community and very good activities in vicinity. We did manta-ray night snorkel and lua’u at outrigger resort. Both were just a quick walk away.

I can't say enough about this condo. The pictures do not do justice to how beautiful the view is from your balcony and living room. That alone was worth the price. The check-in process was very easy...just stopped at the condo office and picked up my gate card and parking pass. The private neighborhood was a peaceful place to return to after travelling around the island and having multiple swimming pools available was great for the whole family. The condo itself was more than enough space for my family of five, had every amenity we could need, and had a well appointed kitchen...we made several meals at home during our stay. The host's local contact was very helpful when we experienced an issue with the dryer. Overall, a wonderful stay and if we ever come back to Kailua Kona, I would absolutely love to rent this space again.

My family and I had a most enjoyable and relaxing stay here for a week. It is clear that a great deal of love and attention to detail has gone into creating this space for families. We took full advantage of the lanai and outdoor mini fridges to keep our beverages cold, the closet of beach equipment, and the fully stocked kitchen, which was ideal for preparing meals together. The beds were comfortable, and when we had questions for our hosts, they responded promptly and in a friendly manner. Their commitment to ensuring a wonderful experience is had by their guests is evident in the countless amenities offered. We have family living on the island and will most certainly love to stay here again when we next visit.

Truly an oasis! Dana and Gregory are wonderful hosts and Rivendell was one of our favorite Air BnB stays. The apartment was spotless and well-stocked, the bed was so comfortable, and the hot tub was very well-maintained and heated quickly. Now for the best part! The landscaped property and waterfall made for peaceful mornings and restful evenings. We wished we were staying longer. Mahalo for the perfect weekend stay! We will be back!

Perfect location with a beautiful view. It had everything my family needed to have a great vacation. The windows and fans kept everything cool enough that we didn't need the AC. We even got to see dolphins from the lanai! :)
