Spotlessly clean, well equipped, comfortable place with a river view. Ideal option for a weekend or longer stay in the city - beautiful parks are just nearby, the street is quiet and peaceful, but the city center is also easily accessible. David is most hospitable and there's a good selection of restaurants and cafes nearby. It's easy to feel almost local here.

Lisa was an incredible host! She was very thoughtful and made my whole trip stress-free. The flat was perfect, a great place to unwind after a busy day. The flat has everything you need and has a homely feel. Thanks again Lisa!

Fantastic location, very spacious flat and comfy beds.

Stayed for work and it was great, had everything you would need. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom and towels. Balcony was a great space too to watch the sun go down at night the whole flat light up was beautiful. Would recommend especially if your driving as parking was so convenient for city centre. Great little place to stay - really quiet, easy transport links straight into the centre of Glasgow and David was a friendly, helpful host.

Russel is a great host. Easy check-in and the place has all we need. Since it was a holiday stay he even gave us a check-in gift which was muchly appreciated. The place is in a great location being very close to the train with lots of local places if you need things along with great cafes if you want. We especially like that it is on the first floor (we are getting older) and quiet. We have stayed here before and will continue to use it when we can since our daughter and family live a manageable walk nearby.

The accommodation was great , beds very comfortable, location great for Glasgow city and surrounding shops. I know the area well so it was any area I would highly recommend.

Lovely stay in peaceful surroundings. Bath and shower were amazing and lovely little touches with the heart soap and shower gel etc. Nice well stocked kitchenette. Lovely place.

The transportation nearby is convenient, getting around is very convenient, the host is very friendly, the room layout is very cozy, the disinfection work is in place, it's very good

The photos don't do this apartment justice.... we walked in and went wow. The apartment is utterly stunning, it is immaculately spotless and it's a home from home. The little details make this booking stand out, every little detail has been thought about. Kevin is an outstanding host, my sat nav got me lost, but Kevin was extremely helpful......100% perfect host and perfect apartment. thankyou so much.

I had such an amazing stay at Station Apartments! Silviya is an extremely friendly and sweet host, always responding to my questions incredibly fast and I felt that I can reach out at any time if I needed. The apartment is exactly as described, very clean, the train station is 10 seconds away from the front door, yet at the same time there is no disturbing noise from the street below or the platforms. Carstairs is an adorable village, I enjoyed taking long walks in the countryside, yet Edinburgh and Glasgow are both only 30-40min away by train. There is a store very close to the apartment (approx. 3 min walk) and another one in the center of the village. I would love to stay there again in the future and I highly recommend the place for anyone who's looking for a quiet and peaceful holiday either alone or with family/friends! 😊

The hosting family were so welcoming and helpful, greeted us on arrival even though there was a key box, helpful with taxis, there was even a baby towel & shampoo as we had a 7month old. We were absolutely thrilled with the whole experience. Thank you!!

A good location for visiting my family in Edinburgh and Glasgow. The place was clean and tidy, with everything we needed for a few days. Bukky the host was responsive and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay.

We spent a week at Elaine and Tom’s basement flat for a family visit. The flat was well equipped, very spacious (more so than the photos can show), cosy and superbly located for making the most of Shawlands or getting into Glasgow. The hosts were so kind welcoming us in after a long drive, they responded to all requests and were in general extremely accommodating given we had a small baby that was potentially disruptive. This was a brilliant experience and I can’t recommend this Airbnb highly enough.

Booked on behalf of work colleagues who were both made up with their digs. Would highly reccommend.

Elda’s place is in a quiet road. The house was spotless and the beds were super comfortable. Only negative no television, which personally didn’t bother me. Kitchen well equipped. Bit pricey but would stay again.
