Private suite holiday rentals in South West England

It was a little peace of heaven, the cottage (inside and outside) looks like it's out a story book. The cottage was spotless, enough space for a family, the kitchen was big enough and equipped to cook easy meals, we were served croissants for breakfast (lovely touch). There's a working fireplace and wood is provided. I would love to back there anytime.

Gorgeous place with everything you'd want to have a cute little weekend away!! hot tub was set up so all we had to do was pull back the cover and hop right in. Kitchen had everything needed to cook whatever meals you fancy. Just a 2 minute walk away from the local and less than a 10 minute drive out to the moors.. perfect!!

We have just returned from a really lovely week staying at The Annex. The property was really well presented with everything we needed, very clean and beautiful surroundings and whilst the property is attached to the main house we felt extremely private. Really comfy bed and beautiful bedding, we slept so well. Despite the weather not being that great we got out hiking everyday and it was lovely to come back to the Annex each day. Our german shepherd loved the stay too and whilst we were a little worried to start with as he is a reactive dog the owners were very kind and thoughtful and if we went out with our dog they kept their dogs away which we really did appreciate. A really beautiful stay and the owners were great hosts and welcomed us in but then gave us our own space, would definitely recommend this property and wouldn't think twice about returning.

We bolted on a couple of nights to a longer trip to sample the off season nightlife in Mousehole. Gemma’s place was ideal for us, very well located on the edge of Town when coming from Newlyn. The furnishings, finish and ambience of the space are spot on and perfect for the 2 of us. OK, it’s a steep haul back up from the Harbour but it is great exercise and only a few minutes from pubs and restaurants back up to the house. Gemma provides full and detailed information in advance and also has plenty of hints and tips for the locality if you want it. Parking in this location is a real bonus. Thanks for a great stay !

Theresa and Simon are very friendly, accommodating and make you feel at home. They know the area well and are happy to share their knowledge. Great people. The Garden Studio is neat and comfortable, the garden is peaceful and and there are many places to relax. You will never regret coming here. 😊

The annexe was everything we hoped for and more. Charming accommodation in beautiful gardens; two large bedrooms with lovely bed linen and towels; everything thought of to make our stay restorative and comfortable. Penny was an accommodating, friendly and kind host.

We had a wonderful stay at Hilary and Graham’s annex with our baby, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us so warmly and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The annex was spotless, peaceful, and completely private—ideal for us as new parents. Hilary and Graham were incredibly kind and helpful throughout, always checking in to make sure we were okay, without ever being intrusive. Their thoughtful touches and genuine hospitality made a big difference. A lovely place hosted by truly lovely people—we’d love to come back!

Lovely little place with great surroundings everywhere. Great hosts and really friendly. Our 2 x dogs were made to feel as welcome as us. If we were back in that area again then we would stay again. Highly recommended.

The space was just as we expected, everything you need was there, and very cleverly arranged too. Access to the outside space was lovely and a real bonus once our toddler had gone to bed. A great location for the beach and handy to have a parking space. Just what we needed and we wish we’d stayed a bit longer!

Cherry Pip is a lovely place, it is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need. Breakfast is provided and there was plenty of choice, we felt spoilt! Sonia was responsive and welcomed us messaging or knocking on her door if we needed anything, but there was no need as everything was laid out with clear instructions. The location is lovely, on a quiet road with a long driveway. 10 minute drive to local beaches & they are beautiful. Would happily stay here again, thank you for having us ☺️

We echo all the reviews that have given Nel’s place 5 stars! We were on a tight schedule of visits around the country, but both agreed we’d would’ve happily stayed longer and just enjoyed the cosy accommodation and peaceful surroundings. We’re thinking of downsizing our family home and the design/layout of this delightful apartment gave us ideas for maximising a smaller space. Everything was spotless, the living room sofa and armchair were perfect for us, bed was super comfy, kitchen has everything needed and the whole place was light and airy. Sarah made us welcome and the breakfast goodies lasted us all week. Great spot to explore Bath from as an easy walk down the hill on the path right outside the door. Easy road access to explore the local area as well. Even on a very wet day it was a great spot to look out over Bath and watch the world go by.

We had a comfortable and relaxing stay. Very conveniently situated next to St Ives (10 mins), and many beautiful hikes.

Wayne and Melissa were fantastic. Very responsive, friendly, helpful, the place is fantastic, clean, tidy, all around perfect getaway place. Beautiful views and surroundings. The local pub offers great food and drink options and it’s within walking distance. Cabs to Bristol are easy to book and not overly expensive if you wanted to have a drink there. Parking space available and the car was safe and we didn’t worry about it when we were away from it. Was our first time booking an Airbnb so we hope we’re just as great to the place as it was to us! Would recommend any day.

A fantastic stay, we had a couple of nights here, central location to visit the surrounding villages, diddly squat and farmers dog pub. The place was immaculate and Lucy was very helpful with restaurants nearby etc Even sorted us out a cot, toys and high chair which meant we could travel lightly and not stress about forgetting anything Recommended it straight away to friends and when we return to the Cotswolds we will definitely be booking here again! This is the second time me and my mum have stayed here. Great location, and absolutely lovely accommodation! The bread is also great.

The place was beautiful very relaxing with the hot tub and surroundings were very elegant and tranquil. The standard of cleanliness was excellent. The fish pond is an added extra. We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful escape. Highly recommended.

Vicky and Ben were fantastic hosts, extremely welcoming, and very responsive and helpful, while also giving me the space to enjoy their wonderful Studio in my own company. I spent a very comfortable week at the Studio and found it a fantastic base for the family history research I was doing in central Worcester and in the various villages around Suckley and more broadly in the Malvern Hills. The Studio is spotlessly clean, is extremely well layed out and has everything you could want or need, while being very homely and easy to live in. The Studio setting is also very peaceful and although my week in Worcester was quite full I enjoyed relaxing in the private outside spaces mornings/evenings and taking in the marvellous views. My only regret is not having time to take one of the several local walks Vicky had recommended, along with her great suggestions for local pubs/restaurants etc. I happily recommend Vicky and Ben as hosts and their wonderful Studio as a fantastic place to stay!

We had a lovely stay at Lesley's place. it was exactly as described and was perfect for our short stay. Lesley provided plenty of stuff for us to make breakfast both days. The kitchen was fully equipped should you want to cook. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing! You will not regret booking. It was one of the most magical places I have been. Everything was spotless. The location breathtaking. Sarah was fabulous. The jacuzzi and sauna were perfect. As you can see from above I haven't got one bad thing to say. Will 100% be back!
