Modern Hayloft in Cotswolds

SimonRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Caroline and David were great hosts managing to pull off being friendly, helpful, responsive and available without ever being intrusive. The property is gorgeous and is beautifully located. Nailsworth has an embarrassment of great places to eat and a remarkably well priced e-bike hire for a lovely afternoon’s ride along the canal. Thoroughly recommended.

Parsonage Otter Stables

CathyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Jeremy and Paivy are the best kind of AIRBNB host I could ever hope for. They are thorough, patient and prompt with every aspect: From the equipment of the house, to transportation and grocery, to local entertainment and cultural spots. The house is generous in size, my two teenager daughters and myself each had a separate space. The kitchen is better equipped than many. The bathroom is not huge but easy to maneuver. We were soaking in the charm and warmth of British countryside for 10 days. Jeremy's farm house gave our country life a note of sophistication, and a genuine sense of goodness. We returned home fully rested and thankful.

Little Barn by the Beach, Porth, Newquay, Sleeps 4

CatrionaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is the second time we have stayed. Mary is a great host. The place is a wee Oasis and very homely and it’s a short walk downhill to the beach. You can’t park right beside the property but you can unload and park nearby. There is lovely outside space with garden furniture and all the facilities that you need for a great holiday. We love this place and location for the north coast.

The Barn, Soussons Farm

PatrickRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We wanted to get away from it all in a part of Dartmoor we hadn't been to before and Steve's place seemed to fit the bill. When we got there, we found that it more than met our expectations! The Barn was exactly what we were looking for: a wonderful peaceful location and extremely comfortable and very well-equipped accommodation. The big selling point for us was the fact that the Barn was on lots of well-mapped walks, so that we could go on lovely walks in all directions without having to get in the car. Steve and Tessa were the perfect hosts; they made us feel most welcome and we found we had a lot in common. We very much enjoyed our short stay and look forward to returning to the Barn before long to explore the area further.

The Cider Barn - a perfect place for two

BridgetRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a very enjoyable stay at the Cider Barn. It was peaceful with beautiful views and we were lucky that the weather was good so we were able to make use of the pretty garden at the back. The house had a well equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed and a good shower. It was lovely to meet Sandra who was very friendly and the homemade oat cookies were delicious and much appreciated as were the eggs and milk. We would love to come and stay again in the future.

Ramstorland Woodland View

JennyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A lovely home away from home with beautiful views of gentle rolling hills. We saw deer and a fox which was a bonus for us. The unit had everything we required to cook our evening meals (local pub has limited opening hours & wasn’t open during our stay), the bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. The Stone Barn - Luxury Barn in Rural Wiltshire

MichelleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful time at the Stone Barn! Nicky and Mark provided a beautiful home away from home that couldn’t have been better. It’s so peaceful and the views are amazing. The place was clean (beware if you’re not a fan of spiders though as there are a decent amount in corners, bathroom, etc due to the countryside location I’m sure) and they even gave us a lovely welcome package with local food items. They were responsive and made sure we had everything we need. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to call home in the Cotswolds area. We were within 1-1.5 hrs drive of all the major sightseeing places which was perfect.

Luxury countryside barn conversion with hot-tub

JoshRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Becky and rob went above and beyond to make our stay at the barn as perfect as possible! They couldn’t have done more to make us feel at home. The barn was absolutely emaculate , it was exactly as described, the pictures don’t do it justice, it’s even more beautiful in person. We were only meant to stay for three nights, but ended up booking a fourth as we didn’t want to leave. Highly recommended and will definitely be returning. Thank you Becky and Rob

Barn in Spectacular, Tranquil Gardens and Farmland

RebeccaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful 3 weeks at the barn and were very sad to leave! As soon as we arrived, I felt myself relax. The gardens and farmland were beautiful and so peaceful, and the barn itself was thoughtfully considered, spotlessly clean, spacious and very well furnished. We had a lot of fun exploring around the farm with our 3 year old - playing down by the river and rowing the boat on one of the small lakes. It was amazing to have this on our doorstep! We visited a lot of places during our stay but my favourite was probably Boscastle - we enjoyed walking through the village through the valley to the cliffs and watching the blowhole in action. We loved the Boscastle Farm Shop & Cafe too - we sat outside enjoying the wonderful views while we ate delicious food and our little one had fun in the play area. Liz and Robert were the best hosts - we really enjoyed chatting with them and they were super responsive when we needed anything. I really hope we can return to stay again one day!

Idyllic retreat just metres from Porthilly beach

ColinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Before we had checked out, we had reserved for next year. A superb property, in a beautiful, quiet location, but is just 10 minutes walk away from bars and restaurants. 1 minute walk from a beach, next door to an historic ancient church and absolutely idyllic. Highly recommended.

The Granary

IanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Katie and her family were very friendly and welcoming. The Granary was available to us well before the check in time and Katie advised us on best directions to find the farm. The accommodation was very clean, well equipped and felt like home from home. A lovely touch was the fresh Devon time and milk. The shower is very powerful but there is no curtain/screen to enjoy it to the max. Although towels are provided, take a big bath towel if you like to wrap up. The Granary is located on the courtyard of a working farm but is extremely quiet. The patio, down a couple of steep steps, is set in a little garden overlooking the Tamar Valley. It was fabulous to sit in, after a days walking to enjoy the peace and watching the huge variety of birds visiting the bird feeders. A great place to stay for visiting the Tamar valley and surrounding area. We would definitely recommend it to anyone and will return again when we are next down in Devon.

Luxury Exmoor Barn with Sauna

LouiseRating, 5 stars3 months ago
A beautiful place to stay. Stunning beams in the bedroom, very well restored, spotless modern bathroom with infa red sauna and electric shower. Lots of wildlife can be heard at night. Fantastic wood burner with under floor heating downstairs. Easy walk to Exford. Great village shop with all you need and 2 pubs. We drove to Withypool and walked to Tarr Steps which was an 8 mile round trip but a great excursion in glorious late February sunshine. Lovely view from the garden at the pub at Tarr Steps and the food was good too. We love Exmoor as it is an unspoilt gem with so much peace and nature to surround yourself in. Everyone you meet is friendly which also helps. Photos of this place do not do it justice!

Atrim Loft, lovely view, 10 mins to the sea.

GlenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful time here. Lovely hosts, quality furnishings, appliances and linens. Welcome pack really appreciated (esp. the fizz). Quiet and peaceful surroundings, yet only 3 mins by car to Broadoak for shopping, another 5 to the beach/harbour at West Bay. Walks from the accommodation if that's your thing, loved it when Roger (the dog) visited morning and evening. Loved it, should have booked longer. Thank you for letting us stay here.

Converted barn in beautiful Cotswolds countryside

NinaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A beautiful hidden gem in the Cotswolds countryside! You can get more peaceful and relaxing than this! A lovely cake on arrival, clean fresh bedding and towels. Everything you need in the kitchen. A lovely little courtyard and dog friendly. We had an amazing 2 night stay for my birthday. Finding the games, Scrabble and connect four gave us a few giggles. Lovely walks around the area... I highly recommend this beautiful converted barn / mill house. It has everything you need from toiletries to blankets and fans if it's hot to logs if it's cold. We would be back in a heartbeat 💓 thank you Valerie & Marcus!

Cwtch Y Wennol - Romantic Cottage in West Wales

RichardRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My advice to anyone looking to book this place is to get on and do it. The pictures don’t do it justice. The property is unbelievable. If you like waking up to the sound of birds and having loads of places to walk then this place is for you. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, I met Ann and her husband Chris who were both so helpful and nice to talk to. I’m so gutted the trip ended as is my girlfriend and two dogs, who are shattered from the stunning coastal walks. I can guarantee I will return!

Beautiful Barn - Idyllic Rural Setting

LisaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Just attended our nieces wedding at Anran. The location of the Barn was perfect, literary a 3 minute drive. However, it wasn’t really walkable, especially to come back late at night. The lanes are very narrow and obviously no footpaths or lights. I would highly recommend trying to book a taxi way in advance and we actually couldn’t get any to come out as it was such a short distance from the venue. The barn is beautiful, two lovely en-suite bedrooms downstairs and then a big open plan kitchen dining lounge upstairs, all thought out extremely well. Patio doors out to a private seating decking area, and to the side, just wonderful views!! I understand they’re currently in the middle of building an outdoor kitchen, they already have lovely seating outside and a BBQ. 100% would recommend this beautiful barn for your stay in a very rural part of the Devon countryside. Thank you so much 😊
