We had a great time - beautiful house in a terrific location. Super convenient for Phillips Academy if that's why you're in the area. Nancy was very attentive (and actually lives in an apartment downstairs) so was able to do lots of nice things for us like bake us a coffee cake and make floral centerpieces. Thank you!

Me and my family had a great time at Steve’s place. The weather was a little windy so it did interfere with our plans at the lake but Steves place made up for it with the great pool which was not that cold and lets not even say the hot tub was amazing! Steve was attentive and letting me know how to check in, how to check out and what needed to be done. Thanks!

Loved staying in this room! Perfect for families with small kids, right across from the playground and so close to story land. Had a blast and would def stay here again!

The house is beautiful and the views are just breathtaking. From inside the house, you get a beautiful view of the lake and then the porch is amazing. You can kayak, use the paddle board or use the canoe. You can also sit by the lake and enjoy the campfire. The surroundings are very beautiful and peaceful. The host is very responsive, solved all our doubts and was flexible with us during check-in and check-out, which we appreciated very much. At check-in, we were greeted by a great bottle of wine and chocolates, which was a great touch. The house also has a ping pong table, books to read and board games. The kitchen was well stocked with the basics. We had an amazing stay, we highly recommend this property :)

We absolutely loved our stay! The home is gorgeous, light and airy, and so comfortable for our group! You can't beat the location across from the beach and quiet street for walking. The pool and hot tub were also so nice. We would highly recommend and would love to stay there again!

Staying at Michael's lake house was the perfect retreat for our family. The first thing that stood out: The quiet. The house is on a cove just off the main lake, and it's so peaceful. We started our mornings with coffee on the screened in porch (yay no mosquitoes to worry about with kids!) and then spent the days kayaking, paddleboarding, and lying in the hammock. The lake itself is gorgeous and there's a sandbar that our girls loved! Meals were a breeze. The kitchen had everything we needed and was a lovely space to cook in (not to mention clean!). We grilled a couple of times too, which, for us, is a vacation must. It rained a little bit while we were there, but the house was well stocked with board games and honestly, everything was so beautifully decorated, it was just as relaxing indoors as outside. This is a perfect spot to stay in Kennebunkport. The space was exactly what we needed for traveling with our 9 month old. It fit us, our stuff, and baby with a travel crib very nicely. The host had a pack and play ready for us to use upon arrival which was very appreciated. We just already had our own with us. The host was very accommodating, welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The place was clean and cozy and very walkable to all the food, shops, and sites in town. The location and parking are excellent. We specifically loved having a washer/dryer on our long stay in Maine. It was extremely helpful. Overall loved this spot and would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area!

Perfect sized cottage for the 4 of us. The stunning views and the sound of waves restored our souls! The cottage was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed and more. We loved watching the waves from the Adirondack chairs and enjoyed playing a few rounds of corn hole. We did not want to leave and can’t wait to go back!

This home served our family of 5 very well. It is a wonderful place if you like a beautiful lake view and easy access. The sound of the loons calling at night under a calm sky is very restful. The place has a warm, cabin feel with plenty of room to spread out and find your own space. Plenty of games and a great vinyl record collection and turntable make the evenings fun if you’re not down at the fire pit. We would stay again!

This was a perfect spot for our group! The house had everything we needed. The common spaces were perfect for when we were hanging out as a group. Most importantly, the location is perfect. It is extremely walkable to all the coffee shops, bars, restaurants and the beach!

This is our third time staying at Stacey's rental because we love it so much! It's the perfect size for our family and our friends to spend the weekend together. The proximity to the beach is fantastic and there is a ton to do just a short drive in any direction from the house. We look forward to our stay and are always sad to leave!

Enjoyed our stay at the house. Able to walk to the beach and to the downtown area easily. Peter was very communicative and responsive and was a great host. We'd stay there again!

It was a great location for a quick getaway. Close to Portland and plenty of places to eat in town. I only met Clarishell but she was lovely!

The property was beautiful! The furniture was comfy. We absolutely loved the beds. (so much we are considering buying a new mattress) The lake was great. My daughter loved getting on the lake. (just bring your bug spray!) The air conditioning unit was amazing! We would love to stay here again!

Our stay here was great. it was rainy until the morning we checked out, which was a bummer, but the covered hot tub area was used each night instead. the kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and basic spices. I brought my own coffee for the Keurig but there was complimentary coffee pods, tea, and hot cocoa available as well. lots of games to play, artwork to look at. the dishwasher is very small so you can't fit much in there but luckily we were only 2 people. the only slight negative was the pellet stove being in the bedroom downstairs, only because of how noisy it is when it's running. it made it near impossible to sleep with it on if you're a light sleeper at all. overall, fantastic stay and thank you so much

Beautiful home and we had a wonderful time!!! Only minor complaint is that the driveway can be a little dicey getting out of. The road that the house sits on can be quite busy at times. Other than that, everything was great!!

The cottage was peaceful and quiet. Neat, clean, and very comfortable. Short walk to shops and attractions in Kennebunk lower village and Kennebunkport.

I have been renting in this area for 40+ years. Mara's attention to detail was over the top. We arrived to a note and a gift card to the local lobster places. (Who does that!) There were bones and everything we needed for our sweet dog. The outside shower was the best and the only one I used. Having a 2nd bathroom in the basement and laundry was great. Air conditioners and a well stocked kitchen. And the sunset views and nights around the fire with family were the best. And use of the garage with bikes, sand toys and kyacks-never seen that before. Wish I had booked for a few more days. Will definitely come back next year. Thank you!!

I wanted a peaceful place by the water to unwind and Maggie’s home nailed it. Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations. The deck views were amazing—islands, ospreys hunting, and a duck and her ducklings feeding along the shoreline. At low tide we poked around in the sand at the bottom of the rocks, and could have easily walked out to the center of the bay but it was juuuust a bit chilly for us. Easy to drive, park and walk along beach on the Atlantic side and explore. We didn’t have time to kayak but hope to be back to give it a go. So much beauty and nature, but with all the amenities that make it easy to relax. Maggie was responsive, and she and her family obviously care very much for the property. Check the propane BEFORE you plan to grill :), and bring flip flops to easily get from the house to the grotto (which was so comfy and cozy) and back again.

This house had everything we wanted and more. The view was beautiful, it was well stocked to cover all of our basic needs as well as items that helped us enjoy the beach, it was clean and comfortable. We traveled with another family and found it was very comfortable for all 8 of us. The book provided about the house and surrounding area was helpful -everything we could need was within 15 minutes of this beautiful, private beach home.

Delightful Fall getaway. Open house design with gorgeous view of lake. Nice big yard with seating and fire-pit. VERY comfortable beds, and bathroom with 2 sinks! Kitchen had everything we needed - plus fruit and candy! Even the laundry room was beautiful! James was most thoughtful and responsive as our host. Recommend highly!
