Tiny house holiday rentals in Southern Maine Coast

What a wonderful, peaceful oasis! The treehouse at the Shire is just incredible! The hosts were very welcoming and communicative. The grounds and property are just stunning. There are also trails and a trail map to adventure on the property. They also have a very sweet pup, Bo, who became best friends with my dogs (after a friendly introduction and me asking if he was free to play). I can’t say enough positive things about this place! Great location to hike and have a peaceful respite, but close to restaurants too! Also, LGBTQ+ friendly!

We had a great stay at the cottage, it was the perfect size for two people. We loved going down to the water to explore tide pools and seeing the lighthouse.

So grateful to Josh and Megan for sharing their beautiful home with me. It was simple but had everything you needed, and the bunk house is bonus for those who need the extra space. I really enjoyed having the screened in porch, and that is where I spent most of my time. I loved hearing the sounds of nature, all while staying safe from the bugs! Only downfall was the construction right next door, but that’s completely out of the hosts control. I also loved that the White Mountains were about an hour- hour and a half out, it made a perfect and serene route for travel

I had a wonderful weekend at this cabin! It’s cozy, clean, and well-equipped. The view is beautiful. Perfect for relaxing and disconnecting for a bit. The host was very friendly and helpful. I’d definitely come back!

Words literally cannot explain the feeling you get when you step onto this property. Picture perfect piece of heaven. I've never cried leaving a place before, that's the impact it had on me. I left a piece of my heart in that cabin. Already planning to go back. 🤙✌️💚

Our stay at Stephen’s cabin was amazing! We arrived on a rainy next and he had a fire waiting for us. The next day he stopped by to introduce himself while we were outside and he could not have been friendlier. Visits from his dog Tilly were one of the best parts about our time there. It was a peaceful place to unwind for a long weekend. There were also many hiking trails in the area for us to checkout. We hope to come back!

This is such a perfect place to stay if you’re going to be in Portland for a few days. Such a precious and homey cabin that is very inviting and charming. I will absolutely stay here again

We had such a great time staying at Emily's awesome retreat. It was our first mini-vacation with our dog and we were looking for some peaceful, wide open space to let her roam free. We absolutely got that with this home and thoroughly enjoyed the town, as well. Emily was super responsive whenever we did have a question and provided us with a great list of places to check out around town. Would absolutely stay again. Thanks!

Great place to stay, close to Portland & the beach plus good access to 295 if you’re headed north to Acadia or the coastal towns. The bed is comfy and the house doesn’t feel like a tiny home with the space being utilized the way it is. Highly recommend staying with Eric!

A wonderful couple and cute shack under the stars! I really enjoyed my stay at the Shackhilton. Karen and Peter were very friendly and came out to help me get settled and kept me entertained with great banter. The place was very clean and cozy. I would definitely go back!

We had a great stay at Kendra’s place. Enjoyed the hot tub and the view from the bed. Serene and rejuvenating.

This was a teeny tiny condo (<200 sq ft!) but spotlessly clean, well appropriated, and a great location. The bed was comfy and the loft area was tall enough to sit up and move around. It was a 5 minute walk to Pine Point Beach. There are about dozen other tiny cottages in the condo association, clustered around a central parking lot, so if all of them were full there wouldn’t be a ton of privacy but we were there in the off season and it was peaceful and quiet.

We stayed for three nights at Mandy’s place and had a great time! The place was exactly as designed, very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was great, we didn’t need to drive anywhere. The host was very kind and responsive. This is a perfect spot for a getaway in a beautiful town!

This place is absolutely wonderful. Peaceful and beautiful. I wish we could have stayed longer. Our doggies loved the backyard. Thank you!

Beautifully executed cottage and wonderfully functional. So much attention to detail from the indoor decor to the landscaping. Quick walk to the beautiful coast line, restaurants, shops, and to the ferry for outings up in Portland. It was also on a quiet street near a preserve for a nice walk in nature. Beth and Jeff were absolutely lovely, helpful, and informative. It was also a value for an elevated experience. I can't wait to go back again!

This was my second time staying at Terrill’s place and it was just as lovely as I remembered! It’s such a peaceful place, surrounded by natural beauty, to relax and unwind. I’ll definitely be back again!

First trip up to Maine and this stay was very comfy, cozy, and intimate. Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean and easy to use. Use the fire pit during your stay! it was great to be outside with a cold one, great company, and a nice fire going.

Wonderful quiet space that makes you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. It rained our whole weekend there but the warm cabin made it absolutely amazing. It's a fantastic place to sit back, relax, and enjoy a cup of tea with the people in your life. Highly recommend staying here. Marie is a fantastic host and was easy to communicate with the entire time and made us feel very welcomed.

I am so grateful to of had the pleasure of meeting Denise and Lynwood.They both have a warm heart and a contagious smile and the accommodations were remarkable.There home offers you a beautiful .lame view and location was perfect close to all restaurants and local recreational activities. I would definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay at Kathryn's house! The studio was very clean and welcoming, and easily findable. She also provided great recommendations for restaurants in the area. The location is amazing, very peaceful with a great view!

I really enjoyed my stay here! It was quiet and peaceful. Never saw or heard anyone around at all despite being right next the host's house so I didn't feel like an imposition which was great. There were lots of little details that I loved like the heated toilet seat, the pole to open and close the skylight shades, the water in the fridge, sponge, dish soap and wash bin to make up for the lack of kitchen sink. Anything I could've thought of that I needed was there if I went looking for it! Such a unique use of the space, and would've used the bikes and that adorable patio at night if it wasn't cold and rainy during my visit.
