Рядом похожая вилла, не перепутайте как мы 😃 Такси с главной пляжной дороги больше 200 рупий не соглашайтесь, мы нередко уезжали за 150. Могут заползти геконы, не пугайтесь, при виде вас они исчезают.Очень приветливые жильцы. В целом гестхаус хорош за свои деньги. P.s. При подходе с дома к главной пляжной дороге стоит киоск с фруктами, в котором покупать ничего не рекомендуем,- старый аферист накидывает цену в 3-4 раза туристам. А так же терпения вам от местных туктукеров.

Min kæreste og jeg havde en fantastisk tid i denne dejlige lejlighed i Unawatuna! Lejligheden er virkelig rummelig med et kæmpestort opholdsrum og et stort, veludstyret køkken, som vi brugte til at forberede frisk frugt og lave kaffe. Køkkenet har også et stort køleskab, hvilket var super praktisk. Den store altan var et af højdepunkterne for os – vi tilbragte mange afslappende timer der. Værten var utrolig hjælpsom og imødekommende, og vi nød den lækre morgenmad, som blev serveret hver dag. Beliggenheden er også fantastisk med kort afstand til vandet, hvilket gjorde det nemt at komme til stranden. En ting at være opmærksom på er, at lejligheden ligger tæt på togskinnerne. Togene kører ikke om natten, men de kan høres om morgenen, hvis man er en let sovende. Dette var dog ikke et stort problem for os. Alt i alt kan vi varmt anbefale dette sted – det var en skøn oplevelse, og vi ville helt sikkert komme igen!

Marta was a fantastic host, from the off she was very accommodating, friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough as a host. The place was clean, with everything you need for an extended stay. Would recommend whilst staying in Hikkaduwa. Marta also helped us get a nice scooter for our trip also which we used everyday and came in very handy! Thanks Marta, Lassie and Olivia x

This is our 2nd stay at Sha Villas by Ushaan. Overall, Five-star host and a brilliant apartment! Check in and check out is super easy, and Ushaan is a very communicative and thoughtful host. It is a beautiful , spacious place with great amenities. Immaculately clean and a very convenient location. We would book again for our next visit.

We had one of our best airbnb experiences globally at Mahakiya Fitness, at which this apartment is the best lodging of all the options. Private, stylish, beautifully furnished, but with easy access to a great health food restaurant and the amazing fitness / HIIT classes at Mahakiya. And the most hospitable and friendly staff. Thanks for everything; we look forward to returning !

Had a great stay at this beautifully furnished, duplex condominium. The apartment has ample space, is extremely comfortable and ideally suited for a large family or group. It is also equipped with all the amenities you would expect from any 5* hotel. The host, Minoli was also extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with. All in all, one of the best condominium properties in the area!

A large clean modern apartment. Very very comfortable for a long stay and even work. Fast speed unlimited wifi which is rare for Sri Lanka. Very well equipped in terms of furniture. Chamaka was extremely cooperative and helped us during our stay with things like bike rent, money exchange, laundry etc. IMO this is much better than renting a villa for the same price.

Pavi, Bathi and their family and friends are the loveliest of people, always ready to help or offer advice when needed. Our apartment was situated on the 2nd floor and was lovely, bedroom and bathroom bare very large as is the kitchen diner, if there was anything you needed Pavi got it sorted asap, the grounds are immaculate and have a plethora of wildlife wandering the grounds, the use of the swimming pool was a great addition. Polhena itself is situated in a great spot for travelling out from and has a wonderful little beach(it does get busy at weekends). Shops are in walking distance as is the main town of Matara or a short fun tuk tuk ride. Colombo and other places are easily accessible via buses or train, both a fun way to travel. We will be back.

I had an amazing stay at Crystal Villa Weligama, a perfect retreat for relaxation and productivity. The villa features 3 beautifully designed bedrooms, making it ideal for families or groups. The cozy living room and dining area are perfect for unwinding and enjoying meals together. The fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need, and with fiber optic internet, it’s great for digital nomads. Located in a calm and quiet area, the villa offers a large garden for relaxation. Just 800 meters from the beach and town, it’s a short 5-10 minute walk to enjoy the sun and surf. The neighborhood is safe and secure, ideal for families. The host, Ruwan, is incredibly helpful, ensuring a comfortable stay. Crystal Villa Weligama is one of the best places to stay in the area, offering comfort, convenience, and tranquility. I highly recommend it for both work and leisure.

Villa Jungle Paradise is fantastic , so is Sudath and his wife. Very helpful with everything. Edith was very with the foot massages to recover her ankle after her fall. The place is situated in the jungle with a nice swimming pool, clean, quiet, birds whistle, high in the trees monkeys now and then. Only 800 meters walking to the beach. Nice breakfast with fresh fruit. And also near two of our favorite restaurants : Jungle restaurant and Wijaya beach restaurant.

After 3 times visiting this home stay the experience becomes better each time. Chani and Nimal gives you a genuine feeling of being cared for. Very flexible, charming and kind couple. There are possibilities for sightseeing with Nimal and Chani easily arrange cooking classes and her dishes are top class. We are for sure coming back!!

We were a family with two children and a medium-sized dog. There is a place to park the car under the roof, the street on which the house stands is wide and clear. This is essentially the second floor of the house with its own entrance and staircase. The second floor has a place to sit outside and enjoy the view. There is also a balcony and air conditioning in one of the two rooms. The second room has a floor fan and the living room has a ceiling fan. There is a ~43' TV in the living room with a comfortable sofa. The inside is spacious and cozy. The kitchen can be said to be on the balcony area, one burner, a small refrigerator and a good washing machine. The host kindly provided an extra table in one room, a drying rack for clothes. The host was always willing to help. We are happy with our 16 day stay in this nice place

We had a great stay at RH Townhouse. Buddhika and his family were very welcoming and made us feel at home. Buddhika gave us recommendations for things to do, foods to try and kindly drove us to Colombo after our stay. RH Townhouse is in a great location, close to Galle but in a quieter area which we really enjoyed. Would recommend staying here!

Really nice hosts. If you want a totally quiet neighbourhood, it is highly recommended. Very spacious place with a beautiful garden.

Gayashan and Roshani made this stay unforgettable and the best one during our time in Sri Lanka! They were always available to answer any questions, organized the best Safari into Udawalawe through a friend, did a cooking lesson with us, helped with getting taxis and so much more. Both were so welcoming and it happened often that we talked for half an hour during breakfast about Sri Lanka, nature, politics and food with them. The place is lovely and exactly like the photos! It is in a quiet area with no cars (only peacocks and monkeys haha) and it takes 10 minutes by foot to Hiriketiya beach. The breakfast they serve is authentic Sri Lankan, changes a bit from day to day to keep it exciting and most importantly is DAMN DELICIOUS! And, this shouldn’t be forgotten, both Gayashan and Roshani are absolutely kind and great people and we felt like guests in their home and not just people sleeping next door. Will come again!

Die Unterkunft ist schön und direkt am Meer. Wenn man nicht in dem Restaurant im Gebäudekomplex essen möchte, benötigt man aber immer ein Taxi zum nächsten Restaurant. Auf Sonderwünsche wurde immer Rücksicht genommen und diese auch erfüllt. Weiterhin wurde uns beim organisieren des Transfers zum Flughafen sehr geholfen.

Great apartment, had all the basic necessities! The host and family were so incredibly helpful! Gave us a number for a great tuck tuck driver, warned us about the rambunctious monkeys that like to stop by, tried to keep us up to date on the power outages and more. It’s a lovely little jungle villa, with that being said, jungle = lots of bugs, there’s no way around it. Just don’t leave any open food out and that will help lessen the bug situation. Also, mirissa beach (great spot for restaurants and beach days) is a bit too far to walk, so I’d recommend getting a scooter or a bike and the host has a person for that too!! All around, would stay again if we come back to Sri Lanka! Host and family were so so so helpful and friendly!

Lieben Dank! Super organisiert vor Ort. Der Verwalter spricht Englisch und war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir sind sogar mit dem Tuktuk abgeholt worden. Es steht auch gegen kleines Geld eines zur Verfügung um damit z. B. zum Strand (Turtle Beach) zu fahren! Dauer etwa 10 min. Laufen über Nebenstraßen geht in 30 min auch. Grundsätzlich ist die direkte Umgebung sehr schön, um diese zu Fuß zu erkunden. Der Strand trägt seinen Namen übrigens zu Recht: es sind tatsächlich Meeresschildkröten zu sehen gewesen. Es gibt auch reichlich Restaurants. Nur etwas weiter weg lässt sich das UNESCO Weltkulturerbe, Galle Fort, besichtigen. Ca. 8 km, 15 min mit dem TukTuk. An Ausstattung ist in der Villa Hanra alles da was benötigt wird: Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle... Alles ist sauber, neu und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Kurz, fantastischer europäischer Standard. Und der Pool... Was soll ich sagen, einfach genial: mal eben reingehüpft. :-)

Great place with an amazing view of the sea for a peaceful stay.

I went to Bihara's place with my family and in-laws, and everyone loved it so much. The surroundings of the property and the property itself is full of greenery and peaceful. In fact, even before reaching, Bihara was always responsive and helped with all the queries I had. His family is also lovely, and helped us with every single thing we had a query about. The breakfast was great, timely, and felt very homely. I strongly recommend his place, especially if you have large groups as we had an entire floor to ourselves. And the hosts, his entire family that is, are really lovely folks!
