We had a lovely stay at John's cottage. It's in a great position for getting out and about. Everywhere was lovely and clean. Unfortunately we couldn't take full advantage of the cottage as we were only there for 2 nights for a wedding weekend. John gave perfect information and exactly where it was and kept in touch to check everything was ok for us. The perfect host I'd say.

We have just returned from a week in Dalemore Cottage and could not have wished for more. The cottage itself is set in the most glorious location and the inside is just as good. Comfy bed, well equipped kitchen and beautifully furnished. Pru and Chris were the most welcoming of hosts and Pru’s home cooked meal service was excellent, I even asked for some of the recipes. If you are looking for a quiet spot, in a fabulous location with excellent hosts this is the place for you.

Ash hosted myself and my Groomsmen the night before my wedding. The location was perfect (right next door to the venue), the house was beautiful and very homely! The scenery was outstanding and a very relaxing outside setting. Ash was an amazing host and went the extra mile to provide as much convenience as possible. I fully recommend anyone to stay here. absolutely perfect spot for our overnight for Alton towers, disappointed we hadnt arrived earlier to enjoy it for longer but it was everything we needed, clean and well appointed and thanks for the welcome biscuits the kids demolished them!

Extremely conveniently located for Leek town. Clean and comfortable with a very homely feel. We had a lovely stay and the house had everything you need for a home from home. Angela's communication was friendly and welcoming, she provided clear instructions and gave great recommendations. We would happily book again in the future.

I booked this stay for my mum and partner who were over the moon with their time spent here. They came back and told me they thought it was such a beautiful accommodation, with stunning surroundings. Perfect for find a little respite, peace and quiet. They were delighted with how much was provided at the accommodation, Sarah had thought of everything. Absolutely amazing time staying in the coach house. I can't speak highly enough of my stay there, the location is in walking distance from the train station, supermarkets, local bars and restaurants with Alton Towers a short drive away. Jane and Mike were so welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. I would not hesitate to book again.

Pauline as a hostess is very welcoming and great at communicating promptly. The accommodation has a well equipped kitchen. Pauline thoughtfully stocked the refrigerator with fresh milk before arrival. The premises being on the outskirts of a peaceful village is tranquil and comfortable.

Although this was simply somewhere to lay our heads while exploring the area, we really couldn't have wished for better. We found the annexe to be spotlessly clean; with everything we could need. Thank you very much to Dan and Holly, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We only stayed for two nights for a quick fly through visit, but we were really impressed with the flat. It was clean, tidy and comfy. We loved all the little details Sarah added in, so many recommendations on things to do and she even left us milk and biscuits for when we arrived. Really wonderful spot, great value for money, will be booking again.

my stay was everything I needed, I stayed there 2 years ago and knew what to expect. Surroundings are so peaceful, loft has everything you need, walking distance to horse and jockey. Amanda always responds quickly if there are any issues.

Beautiful place. Very close to the Peak District and things in Buxton.

A well equipped apartment above a hairdresser’s salon. A good location for the pubs and restaurants in the town. Very clean. We would stay here again. However, we found parking to be a problem. The one time we used the allocated space we regretted it. As mentioned by others the access is very narrow and difficult to get out from without risking scratches to the car. We were out during the days and by the time we got back there was no road side parking left either.

The flat is really cozy and has all the amenities that one would need. Jill and her son, Marcus took care of everything. I needed few things and they arranged it for me promptly. Also on the first day they welcomed me with breakfast and flowers which I thought was a really sweet gesture. Dronfield is a great place to stay and the neighbourhood is beautiful as well. I would highly recommend Jill’s place, primarily for their great hospitality.

Loved our stay, very clean, cosy and central. Lovely outside sitting area, next to river and gets sun in the morning. We enjoyed alfresco breakfasts. This was our 3rd stay, visiting family and friends in Macclesfield. Greyhound friendly which is fantastic.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Angus is a fabulous host, warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. His home is absolutely stunning, with decor that’s truly to die for. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, making us feel instantly at home. Wirksworth is a charming village, full of independent shops and cosy cafés. As first time visitors to the Derbyshire Dales, this was the perfect introduction, and we’re already looking forward to returning soon.
