Holiday rentals with beach access in Stalos

Place was great, location right in the harbor, but still quiet. Place was exactly as described.

Highly recommend staying at Simos's place! Very well-maintained, short walk away from many shops and restaurants, and the view of the water from the balcony is spectacular. Very much enjoyed our time there!

Lovely two-room apartment close to a nice sandy beach and services. A short distance to the center of Chania by car or bus. The location is quiet and private, although there are hotels and other amenities nearby. The apartment had everything you needed for accommodation. You can easily park your car on the street. Giorgos and his family were helpful and friendly hosts. We highly recommend their apartment 😊

We had a wonderful stay at Sifi’s. He is easy going, responsive and provided great recommendations. The apartment is beautiful, modern and we felt very comfortable with our stay. Sadly our visit was short since there are plenty to see and do that we didn’t get to do but I would book this place again if we come back.

I rate the stay very well. The apartment was impeccably clean and the equipment of the apartment itself was very rich - you don't have to worry about anything! We have a washer, dryer, towels, clean linens, or even all beach gear, toiletries, and all the detergents you need. The location is very good - we have several beautiful beaches, supermarkets and car rentals nearby. 200m from the house there is a large free parking lot, so we have a place to park our rental car. Hosts are very kind and happy to help and advise when needed. There are paper guides, maps of Crete, etc., which will allow you to plan your next travel days. PS. Thank you so much for the homemade treats! They were delicious I 😄 highly recommend the place and the host, best wishes!

Very nice home and location very nice, walkable to harbor and old town which was very nice! Lots of restaurants! The house was very clean and comfortable and really pretty view of the sea from living room area. The layout was very nice as bathroom on floor of living are and second floor with bedrooms with full bath very nice, lots of room!! My only complaint was, in my opinion, the portrait over master bed was very provocative and also, in my opinion, offensive being a female. Don’t understand why there must be naked pictures of female. This really offended me and can’t understand why??? Laura Rehm

Excellent place to stay very safe very comfortable. Lots of restaurants close by as well as beaches. Everything is within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.

The place was great. Location was perfect for us: close to some true gems food wise, beaches, wineries, etc. We loved it. We stayed 1 week, so we truly got a chance to enjoy it. Was also able to yoga in the morning with a view on the olive trees. All the little attentions made us feel welcomed.

The stay at the hillside home was everything and more. The treats in the morning were a delight and the view was incredible. The host was quick to respond when we had any questions, and provided us with parking and recommendations to eat that were very close by. The parking and maneuvering around the streets may be tricky for some, so recommend renting a smaller compact vehicle. Everything ( beach, restaurants, grocery stores) is within a 5 min walk from the bnb!

We really enjoyed our stay at this vacation home. The location is quiet and offers a great view of the sea – perfect for unwinding. The house is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need. The landlords were friendly and helpful and made the stay pleasant. All in all, a nice house for a relaxing beach vacation.

This place was an amazing place to stay, the views are the best views you can get if you want a wonderful sunset. I would highly recommend staying here. The beds were comfortable, and the host is very kind. They also were thoughtful with setting out and providing the toiletries and left a little snack in the fridge with homemade products. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. We arrived quite late and were pleasantly surprised to find a cold bottle of wine waiting for us and all the amenities for us to have a late supper. The location was very charming close to the historic district of Chania and the story behind Hestia House added to our stay. Great location for walking and the nearby beaches were a stone throw away. The bedroom and bathroom were very bright and comfortable. If we return to Crete, Hestia House will certainly be our number one choice.

Accommodation with modern and successful decoration, quality materials. Ample space for 2/3 people. Location to park a vehicle is very useful. Perfect location for the (superb) beach (50 m away) of fine sand. Presence of restaurants in abundance in the neighborhood (Ilias's advice). Fresh fruit tray on arrival, very welcoming host and always available and before leaving, small Cretan gifts (oil, raki, soap and honey), lovely thank you. Only small detail, very busy road bringing a little noise but we are by the sea. Thanks Ilias and Maria.

A big thank you to Konstantinos and Stelina for providing a beautiful apartment for their guests. We were delighted with the layout of the rooms, very modern with floor-to-ceiling windows, a kitchen where nothing was missing (even a salad spinner and a measuring cup were there!) and with a comfortable bed. Towels are changed every 3rd day and linens are changed every 5th day, real luxury! It smells very pleasant, thanks to the well-selected fragrance sticks. For me, a good-smelling apartment is always very important and we appreciated it as well. The balcony is airy and after 10:00 in the shade, it is pleasant to endure and the beautiful view of Souda Bay is simply magnificent. Downtown is about 10 minutes by car, so you are quickly in the center, but also quickly outside in the evening. Ideal for people who want to enjoy city life but prefer to have it a little quieter. Thank you again for everything!!

Our host was very careful for details, kitchen had all necessary stuff, fridge, etc. everything was clean. Host gift us welcoming gifts and that was lovely ❤️. Nice location, beach is close and you can go to supermarket in 10min on bus. And 25 min to Chania, bus stop is near. Living there was a pleasure.

This is absolutely our favorite Airbnb that we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot). The place is adorable. Katerina is very responsive and lives right by the apartment. The view is wonderful, and both the living room and twin bedroom have doors that open onto that view. It has everything you need and more, with Katerina providing treats and even cereal and milk for that first morning. The air conditioning worked well, but there is also a lovely breeze from the sea. There are tons of restaurants and cafes just below the apartment as well as with 5 and 10 minutes walk in Old Town. It would be comfortable for a couple and a third person (such as a child) or two people, each with their own room. The washing machine was great to have, and you can dry clothes on the lines off the balcony. We did not want to leave.

This Airbnb is just like the photos and worth the distance from Old Town (about 0.4 miles). The terrace wraps around the entire flat and has many seating options in sunshine and in shade. It’s surrounded by beautiful, well-cared for plants with a stunning view of the Sea of Crete and of Chania itself. You can take the stairs or there is an elevator. The hostess left some local treats for us as well as a lovely bouquet of flowers! Absolutely top notch! There is also air conditioning if the fresh air is too warm. The hostess was friendly and responsive. This was the best of 4 Airbnb’s we stayed in throughout Europe. The only thing to note is that the electricity is only on when the card is in the holder by the door. So, if you leave with the dryer or dishwasher running or charging devices, they will pause until you return.

We stayed at Irina’s for our honeymoon! We originally booked her other listing but she offered this listing as a gift to us for our honeymoon - this alone shows how kind irina is ! Her home is beautiful, clean, and unique. We met Irina for check in and she was so kind and welcoming. She gave us great recommendations on where to eat and things to do. Very responsive and checked in to see if we needed anything. Pita goal is across the street which made it easy for when we were hungry. a lot of other restaurants within walking distance. Also walking distance to the old town and easy to find parking! Felt like a local after 4 days as the neighbors always saw us and said hi ! Lol

Great accommodation! Impeccable cleanliness, with an amazing pool and jacuzzi! And an extraordinary view. 🇬🇷 The only disadvantage is the lack of equipment such as hair dryer, scissors, etc. while it was written in the description. Responsive hosts!

From the start, Sia and her husband were very warm and welcoming. At check-in, they walked us through the apartment, which looked exactly like the photos. The view is fantastic from the front balcony. Everything was very clean. Loved that there were electronic blinds for most windows. We rented a car and there was a parking spot available for us in Sia's garage. We did find the bed a bit too hard for our tastes (to each their own!), and we sometimes had trouble with the wifi dropping in the main bedroom. Overall, we loved Sia's place and would stay there again!
