Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Stalos

Die Kommunikation mit Electra war super. Nachdem wir ihr gesagt haben, wann wir ankommen, hat sie uns an der Straße in Empfang genommen und zum Haus begleitet. Dort hat sie uns alle Räumlichkeiten gezeigt, zudem gab’s ein Gastgeschenk. Sie hat uns nützliche Informationen zur Erkundung der Umgebung gegeben. Elektra ist ein sehr gastfreundlicher und liebevoller Vermieter. Das Haus selbst war sauber und die Betten komfortabel. Von der Dachterrasse konnte man das Meer erblicken. Die Unterkunft ist nur zu empfehlen🙂

Die Wohnung von Konstantinos und Stacey ist wirklich sehr empfehlenswert. Und ein super Ausgangspunkt um den westlichen Teil von Kreta zu entdecken. Maleme ist ein süßes Örtchen mit super lieben Menschen und man hat alles vor Ort wenn man mal einen Tag nicht weit weg fahren möchte. In der Wohnung haben wir uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt und auch wenn sie etwas kleiner ist, ist sie so gut eingerichtet das jeder Raum sinnvoll genutzt wird und auch in der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man für den täglichen Bedarf benötigt. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Konstantinos und Stacey waren super lieb in der Kommunikation und haben auf alle Fragen schnell geantwortet. Wir haben uns auch sehr über die liebe Begrüßung mit Wein, Raki und Willkommenskärtchen gefreut- und konnten direkt ein Getränk am Abend auf den Balkon genießen. Wir hatten einen sehr tollen Aufenthalt und würden auch immer wieder kommen.

Das war genau, was wir gesucht haben. Ruhig, wenig Betrieb. Originale Taberna zu Fuß zu erreichen und authentisches Essen. 2 min mit dem Auto zum Supermarkt. Die Wohnung ist geräumig mit allem, was man braucht. Stelios hat auf uns gewartet und genau den Weg erklärt. Eine kleine Reparatur würde umgehend erledig. Wir bedanken uns für schöne Zeit und die leckeren Orange aus dem zugehörigen Garten.

Красивые, современные апартаменты. Светло и чисто. Все фото соответствуют реальности! Хочется отметить прекрасный дворик, где приятно проводить вечера. Сэнди всегда на связи и готова помочь со всеми возникшими вопросами. Рядом таверны, пляж в 7 минутах ходьбы. Так же рядом есть красивый парк с детской площадкой, ходили туда гулять с дочерью. Так же советуем пройтись вдоль парка, найдёте прекрасные пляжи. Особенно нам полюбился пляж Paralia Agii Apostoli. Учитывайте, что рядом находится кемпинг. Иногда бывает шумно, но нам это не доставило сильного неудобства. А иногда даже нравилось музыкальное сопровождение от туда. Советуем к бронированию!

Stamatis is the best host we’ve ever encountered at an Airbnb—he personally welcomed us at the door of his place even though we arrived late at night. Had wine, fresh oranges from his trees and coffee for us. He is super knowledgeable of the outdoor activities and gave us great suggestions for restaurants and things to do. He is the epitome of Cretan hospitality. Even meeting us on our last day to hand deliver a jar of honey from his own bees. His home in Fournes feels far away tucked in a quiet old neighborhood, and yet it’s so close to so much to do—the botanical garden and amazing restaurant, the hiking in Lakki, and only 20 min from bustling Chania. Stamatis is beyond special—and anyone would be lucky to stay in his house which has been a part of his family for generations.

Great place directly opposite the beach - fantastic if you have toddlers like us. We ended up having dinner at the restaurant next door every day because the kids could play out there while we ate. If you want to visit the most beautiful beaches on Crete, this west coast location is great (though it should be noted that the beach near the house is actually facing north, which means it is thankfully not frequented by tourists). The host is very friendly and willing to help with any issues. The airbnb was very well equipped and prepared for our visit (including items we would not ordinarily expect like fruit, cake, and even a dinner on the first night - though we obviously knew about it based on previous reviews). We would come back here in a heartbeat!

Heerlijk verblijf in een serene omgeving. Prachtig uitzicht richting zee, fijn zwembad en grote, smaakvol ingerichte kamers. Wij konden hier echt tot rust komen. Je hebt wel meestal een auto nodig om restaurantjes of nabijgelegen dorpjes te bezoeken. Voor ons geen probleem, wij genoten juist van de rust.

Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen – wir waren nicht ohne Grund zum zweiten Mal hier! Die Unterkunft ist sauber, gut ausgestattet und liegt ideal – man ist in wenigen Minuten am Strand, aber trotzdem ruhig und entspannt untergebracht. Es war bereits unser zweiter Aufenthalt, und auch diesmal haben wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Ein ganz besonderes Dankeschön an Vagelio: Sie ist unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit. Als ich plötzlich krank wurde, hat sie uns sofort unterstützt – mit so viel Fürsorge, als wären wir Familie. Das ist nicht selbstverständlich. 🥰 Wir können die Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen und kommen ganz sicher wieder!

A lovely place in a cute village, surrounded by olive trees. A gorgeous view from the terrace. The house manager communicates very well, with fast, clear and friendly instructions. Special mention: the owners Elena and Michail also run a delightful restaurant 30min away. It is well worth going, for the food, the view, but most importantly to meet with them! They have been sooo incredibly welcoming and it was a treat to have a chat with them both. I definitely recommend

Het was een perfecte plek! George en familie waren erg gastvrij! Onze dochter mocht zelfs even boven spelen met zijn kinderen! Appartement was mooi, ruim en erg schoon! Met grote balkons (met een fantastisch uitzicht) en een ruime tuin die perfect was voor onze 4 jarige dochter. Van de tuin kregen we sla, eieren, schapenmelk en olijfolie. In de buurt snel bij het strand, lekkere restaurantjes en wandelroutes. Voor herhaling vatbaar! Wij hebben genoten :).

Hidden gem! Loved this home, literally two minute walk to Golden Beach. Katerina is so sweet (she met us in-person, had local restaurant recommendations, and even provided a bottle of wine). The home was perfect for our group of 6 (great value for the money, too). Would 100% come again!

Stavros was fantastic, as was the history of this wonderful place. Rethymno was a beautiful town and we explored everywhere on foot. We decided on walking in the morning and then having a late lunch (each lunch was fantastic) and walking back up the hill to have a light supper on the deck at sunset. Beautiful and thank you so much for the care you put into your house to make it a wonderful experience.

We had a very pleasant stay with our 4 month old baby. The hosts where very accommodating and overall the apartment is well equipped. Location wise its super close to nice beaches and to the lovely villages around Vamos. Also Chania is easily reachable by car. All in all very recommended. Only downside were the sheets, but its typical for greece. I guess we are spoiled with our egyption cotton/satin fitted sheets🤣

Wir sind mit unserem kleinen Baby für einen Monat zu Gast bei Evienia gewesen und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Das Appartement ist super gemütlich und hat alles was man braucht. Der Ausblick ist fantastisch und man kann von hier aus gut den Westen Kretas erkunden. Ein Parkplatz gibt es direkt vor der Tür. Wer Hunde und Katzen mag, kommt hier auf seine Kosten ( Unser Baby hat es geliebt). Man kann die Vierbeiner aber auch mit einem Gitter von der Terrasse fernhalten. Evienia ist eine herzensliebe Person und super Köchin, die immer gut erreichbar ist (auf Wunsch bietet Sie auch sehr leckeres Frühstück und Abendessen an). Sie ist mit vielen Tipps und Empfehlungen eine gute Hilfe bei der Ausflugs- und Essenswahl. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und immer wieder gerne, hoffentlich bald.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Die Gastgebein ist super freundlich, hat uns viel wertvolle Tips gegeben und uns bei allem geholfen wo wir Hilfe benötigten. Die Unterkunft war gut ausgestattet und das Ambiente hat uns ebenfalls gut gefallen. Außerdem ist die Unterkunft schön hell und die Räume groß.

Superbe appartement avec une vue magnifique. Très proche de Chania (15 min) et pourtant au calme. Appartement fonctionnel, nombreux rangements à disposition ! Eva est très réactive et disponible pour nous aider ! Je recommande vivement cette location.

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. Highly recommended for families looking for a peaceful and convenient holiday with children. Wissam,

Prachtige Villa met verwarmd zwembad wat heel aangenaam was tijdens de iets koudere avonden. Zeer ruime slaapkamers met allemaal aparte badkamers en toiletten zodat we nooit hoefden te wachten tot de douche vrij was! Superhost met zeer veel tips voor activiteiten en restaurants in de buurt. Zelfs de ijskast was gevuld met wat drank en eten zodat we niet onmiddelijk opzoek moesten gaan naar eten. De advocado's uit Evi haar eigen tuin die ze had klaargelegd waren superlekker. Deze villa is zeker de moeite waard.

Wir waren mit unseren Freunden das erste Mal als Gruppe im Urlaub und dies war der perfekte Ort dafür! Man hat genug Rückzugsorte aber auch die perfekten Tische mit wunderbaren Aussichten für tolle Spiele Abende. Ich würde ein Auto empfehlen was man such mietet.

Absolutely wonderful! We were so happy with our stay at Villa Sissy. Booking was smooth and all questions were answered. The house is beautiful and the pool is amazing. We had the pool heated (in april) and was perfect. Everyone, especially the kids, enjoyed it. We were 3 generations staying - 4 children, 5 adults. Each bed room nicely decorated with en suite. Sissy as a hostess was welcoming, informative, helpful and friendly. And the welcoming package was amazing. Sissy even managed an extra bed in one room to suit the family. Chef Spyros recommended through cretevillas4u was great! All in all - a great vacation in villa Sissy!

This is a stunning home in a great neighbourhood with a host who is an absolute 10/10! The house was even better than expected as a couple more bathrooms were added recently so there are now four. Host met us at the property, showed us around and gave extensive recommendations for all things Chania and Crete! The pool is just perfect for lounging or a dip in the evening after a hot day exploring beautiful Chania & Crete. I’d suggest you must have a car to get to and from the property as it is in a residential area however I think for Crete in general you need a car. Definitely one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in, top to bottom. Don’t even hesitate booking this place!

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was perfect—just a short walk to great restaurants and a beautiful, warm, shallow beach that was perfect for our family. The house itself exceeded our expectations. It was incredibly spacious and had more bathrooms than any Airbnb we've ever booked, which made a big difference for our large group. The pool was a lot of fun, even without heating, and the jacuzzi was a great bonus. The place was spotless and truly felt like a hidden gem right in the city—hard to believe you can find something this nice in such a convenient location. Nicolas, the host, was fantastic. He provided a helpful written guide and surprised us with several thoughtful freebies. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—highly recommended!

We stayed here 2-9th June I have no negatives to say, Mariam was just amazing. So friendly from the moment we arrived. Her home is absolutely beautiful, yes it was big for us but it had everything we wanted and the price was amazing! We had no issues during our stay, welcomed with a beautiful fruit bowl, water and wine and to top it off when we left Mariam gave us another gift of local olive oil! The tennis court was a good place to allow our toddlers to run around happy, amazing space for the kids to be free and play. We went to the local beach 3 days during our holiday, which was only a 15 minute walk, Mariam provided beach toys, spades, umberella and towels which were all appreciated. We have already said but we would definitely come back here, probably with more family as it is such a big lovely space!

Absolutely incredible stay at the villa very opulent from the minute the gate opens . So spacious,5 of us stayed for 1 week and the villa was just perfect.
