Despite the initial difficulties we had a wonderful stay. Riff is a generous host, and easy to communicate with, problems were promptly addressed and quickly solved. The place itself is magical, the emptiness of the village that others found spooky actually was uplifting for us, and the quietness and the beauty of the mountains offered perfect immersion and winding down. The house is lovely and cosy, the upper store is a child’s dream - my son enjoyed it immensely. We are regulars to the area, know the neighboring ski-resort very well and beside skiing we enjoyed the local cuisine very much, or sometimes just grabbed a pizza from the village down in the valley. I can't put into words how incredible our stay at this enchanting house on the lake was. From start to finish, it was a truly magical experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and idyllic getaway. The house itself is a gem of architecture and design. With its large windows capturing the breathtaking view of the lake, and the cozy, tastefully decorated rooms, we felt at home from the first moment.

The apartment is very nice, well equipped and very clean. We particularly liked the view. The communication with Hans Peter was great and his parents were always available and really very friendly. We highly recommend a stay at the apartment

Very friendly and approachable hosts, peaceful setting. Three stories (lower level bedroom, kitchen & LR, 3 bedrooms upstairs, lovely balconies) were comfortable for our family situation. Helpful to have WC's separate from tub/shower area. Great walking trails, and easy to get to ski slopes and grocery stores.

I can fully recommend the place. I was looking for some peace and quiet and you definitely have it here - incl. Splashing of a stream and a few animals living on the farm. The accommodation is located in the courtyard of the hosts and everything you need or could need is there (fully equipped kitchen, even spices are there, for example, the bathroom with washing machine and bathtub). Otherwise, it is worth mentioning that the bed is really very comfortable - I rarely sleep as well away from home as at home, but that was the case here. Everything was very well maintained and clean. I lacked nothing, the hosts are always available if you need anything or have questions. And even if the accommodation is on the same property as the host, you are "on your own".

We had a wonderful stay at this modern and beautiful lodge. The space is clean, spacious, and truly spotless. Everything worked perfectly, and the kitchen was impressively well equipped – it had everything we needed and more. Peter was a fantastic host – very responsive, helpful, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and thoughtful design throughout the home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and high-quality stay!

Great chalet in the immediate vicinity (5 minutes by car) to the ski slope St. Oswald/Brunnach, where there is ski rental, children's ski school/ski kindergarten and gastronomy directly on the slopes, as well as parking. We were there with two families in the New Year's week (4 adults, 4 children aged 4, 6, 8 and 9 years) and the house is exactly as described and very comfortable. Particularly noteworthy is that the house gets very warm (oven, partly underfloor heating), and there was always enough hot water for showering or bathing. We've experienced all of this differently. All service providers were super friendly, from the woman in the toll booth on the highway to the service in the restaurant despite rush hour. The ski kindergarten delighted our little one, so we could go full throttle on the slopes for a few hours in the morning (slope recommendation 20, 22 and 28 for carving for advanced skiers). We selected Franz’s house searching for a very quiet, clean, feature rich and roomy accommodation, close to alpine nature, yet within a reasonable distance from services and tourist interests. I filtered for Superhost as well. House was an excellent choice, everything we expected was a 100% match. The comfort of rooms/beds, enough space to live like at home, wooden shades on all windows to ensure a long sleep, a clean and well equipped, practical kitchen with the living room, spacious and well functioning bathroom, a TV. Loved the opportunity of having meals outside at the garden table with the views. Perfect starry sky on clear nights! Carefree parking right in front of the house, basically no noises or anything from the neighbours, and a great restaurant just a few steps down the road. We could do a few serious hikes to the mountains right from the house or drive about half an hour to one of the lakes or Turracher Höhe, for example. Nice memories, great host, top recommended!
