House holiday rentals in Staufenberg

We had a great stay and felt very comfortable from the beginning. The house is superbly equipped, clean and offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. It is perfect for six people and our dogs were also warmly welcomed and felt right at home. Communication with the hosts was always quick, friendly and uncomplicated — everything went smoothly. A small note: The garden is not fenced, but that was not a problem for us. We would come back anytime and can absolutely recommend the place!

We stayed with 4 adults and 3 kids under the age of 8. We enjoyed the house, activities in the park and the little lake. The house was very comfortable and modern. Perfect stay for 2 families.

We stayed with our friends for the weekend. Combined we had 4 children. It was great for the kids playing outside and they had a great time. Highly recommended! Would love to come back.

We were already in the accommodation a year ago. Nothing has changed our impression: Great apartment with a lot of comfort, the surroundings are fantastic. Ilona was again a very good and pleasant hostess. Furthermore, an absolute recommendation!

The house was as described. The communication in advance was great, we already knew exactly what to expect. Check-in went smoothly. The play barn and game room were also very appealing for us. In the area you could do a lot of business, also here there was information in advance. Lots of options for sitting outside. In short, we felt comfortable at the place and can recommend it.

The absolute highlight is the wellness area with pool, sauna and solarium under absolute privacy. The 2 hours agreed daily for the benefit of this area are completely sufficient. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the A7, so it is also very easy to reach. However, the noise of the A7 is audible, with the infinite bird concert from all corners covering this noise. When the door and windows are closed, you don't hear it, so it doesn't bother sleep. Wifi comes from the main building and is relatively weak. There's another guest wifi, as seen on Airbnb, but it's not working. I couldn't understand why the wifi distributor in the bedroom should serve. The phone number on Airbnb is not working Communication via text is flawless. Response in seconds and always positive. I wouldn't call the appartment dirty. However, a thorough cleaning in corners and edges seems long overdue.

We have been guests at Heiko's for the second time. We were 14 people and had enough space for everyone. The kitchen is well equipped, we didn't miss anything and if we needed anything then we just had to let Heiko know. Rooms are also well equipped, clean and with my own bathroom, which is very convenient with so many people. Behind the house there is a garden area to relax, sit together or grill. Arrival and departure went smoothly and quickly. Host very friendly, helpful and always available. A few hundred meters from the guesthouse is a forest, you can go for a nice walk. Since the pension is directly on the street, it was a bit noisy with the window open. At night, however, it was quieter and with the windows closed you could sleep well. All in all, we liked everything and we would like to come back. Price ratio is also fully acceptable. Thank you for everything, Heiko.

This place is so beautiful, it invites you to relax and linger in the accommodation. The forest is right on the grounds and makes it really nice, you can go for a walk there, so you also have your peace, as the property is a bit remote. We felt so comfortable and are very grateful to have found this wonderful place. The house is actually bigger than the pictures !! It's worth a visit. Thanks for the wonderful time ! :)

Very cozy accommodation. Unfortunately, there were three of us there for one night, but you would like to stay longer. Paul is also a very nice host.

We arrived for the SW-Motech Open House with 4 motorcycles and a car. When we asked for a parking space, we were even provided with a covered spot :) The house was clean and cozy - we felt right at home and were able to enjoy a relaxing evening after the long journey. We liked the cozy furnishings best - sofa, chairs and beds were very comfortable. The old radio sideboard provides good music and atmosphere. The terrace was perfect for rounding off the day. We didn't miss anything and were absolutely happy with the great accommodation and the lovely contact with our hosts. Thank you! We will be back.

A nice location, with a terrace at the back, where you could sit nicely on the river, and behind the garden. It was a spacious house, with spacious rooms. Even the kitchen was a separate, and very spacious space. Everything was available. Very clean and tidy. Nice hiking in the village. Shops are 4 kilometers away. Edersee 20 minutes by car. Really worth it. A nice spicy walk done there. In short, value for the price.

We stayed in Andreas’ house for four days and had a wonderful time. Andreas was friendly and helpful in all communications and before we arrived had given us clear instructions for our visit. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and having use of the garden was wonderful. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace looking at the beautiful view.

We stayed for 3 nights in Carolin's house. The quiet location, away from all the hustle and bustle, has brought us here. As city dwellers, we enjoyed the peace and the beautiful surroundings on long hikes. The place was as described. Everything was clean and perfect for us. Perfect stay in a beautiful region. The house was perfectly in order and equipped with everything (the most complete kitchen!). Very neat and much larger than expected. Heidi and her husband were very friendly hosts, instant help when there was a question. Highly recommended.

Everything has already been said about this accommodation: In my opinion, it is also a premium choice with regard to all important questions that play a role in a short break: location, appearance, cleanliness, equipment and the contact with Alex and Jan is of a quality that I would like to recommend and to which I would like to return again:) Thank you for a wonderful time in Sauerland!

A very nice apartment with many possibilities. Bernd was always quick to reach in case of uncertainties and helped nicely. We will be happy to come back! :)

We stayed with Jörg for a family reunion. Since we always attach great importance to sufficient rooms and bathrooms, Jörg's house was absolutely to our taste. It quite matched the description and images. Very interesting architecture and much to discover. Large fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, grill and much more. A kitchen without a soft-close and pull-out lock on the drawers. Caution with curious children (and adults:) We had lots of space with 9 adults and 2 young children. The children could "let off steam" in the garden Toys for all ages were available for outdoors as well as indoors. In the house there was also a wide range of games and books to pass the time. In short - we had a nice long weekend in the Taunus with Jörg and Claudia. Those who were always available in advance and never tired of answering our questions. We can really recommend the house.

We were in the Ritters Hof as a family with toddler and it was just beautiful. The house was perfect and we were surprised with one or the other toys for our child, the entertainment of young and old is taken care of. We immediately felt at home and the kitchen-living room is really cozy. We also appreciated the quiet location for our long Easter weekend. Bärbel also really spoiled us and she and her husband are very nice and pleasant.

I was now in Casa Magnolia for the second time and it was wonderful again! The weather was very good and so we could enjoy the beautiful garden and the sauna extensively. This is the place to be if you want to relax in a completely private environment. It's not possible to just walk to a supermarket or something. You can go for a nice walk, but everything else is at least 10-15 minutes away by car. But it was precisely this seclusion and silence that we wanted. We felt warmly welcomed and very well taken care of. I would recommend Casa Magnolia without any hesitation.

Beautiful location, surrounded by nature, lots of sunlight. House is cozily decorated, you feel right at home. Anything you need is available. Extra effort was made for our small children (baby cot, high chair, stair gate). Close to beautiful hiking trails and only 5 to 10 min drive to other places in Winterberg for skiing/sledding. In the evening enjoyed a campfire and the sauna. Communication with the owners prior to our stay went very smoothly!
