Had a great stay! Home is exactly as described. We appreciated the toys and activities upstairs, which were perfect for our toddler and were good for older kids and adults too. There are not enough words to describe how beautiful, scenic, and quiet this place was. John was extremely communicative and responded quickly to any questions I had. The directions and instructions were helpful and clear. The home is tucked away from the center of town which made it so relaxing. The home has a woodsy modern home feel to it that is just incredible. The decor and furniture was comfortable and stylish. The hot tub was so nice and relaxing. It felt like you were in the middle of the woods. The home has everything you could possibly need when visiting Idyllwild. I had the perfect getaway here.

Arriving here was like walking into your home. It was immediately inviting, comfortable and clean. Nathan was quick to respond when I asked about bringing our two cats and he was more than happy to host them. I originally picked his cabin for the fenced in yard, but the tree top deck ended up being phenomenal! Myself, my husband and both cats spent the entire weekend on that deck enjoying the quiet and watching all the wildlife. We are already planning to stay here again and will be staying even longer next time!

The house is lovely, we especially enjoyed the trees and how calm and secluded it felt. The house is smartly furnished, with an intelligent and elegant attention to decoration and detail. The screened windows and doors on the upper level allowed us to be comfortable even though the weather was warm during our stay, and the downstairs bedrooms were cozy. The only real challenge with the property is that you have to carry everything up a long steep set of stairs. If you have packed heavy suitcases, or are brining food in a cooler, bear this in mind. We didn't have any problems with this, but it was a bit of a chore when we loading and unloading the car. The host makes this very clear in the listing, and we loved the place. In practice, the stairs are part of what allows the house feels so pleasantly secluded. Our visit was in June and we are definitely of a mind to visit again, perhaps during the winter when we could enjoy having a fire in the wood-burning stove.

My husband and I with our dog, Lulu, spent a relaxing long weekend at Sarah’s place! The large living room window was the center piece to the house, and the second story deck was such a peaceful spot to eat meals, read, and listen to the birds. Lulu also gives the deck a 5 star rating for bird and squirrel watching!
