Beautiful little typical chalet with local decoration, trolls of all kinds. A magnificent view of the fjord from the bedroom balcony. Everything you need to cook. A lovely place to recommend.

Marion’s place is a little slice of heaven! Such an amazing view over the fjord, this rustic yet cosy, comfortable home has with everything we needed… (including fluffy towels- a very welcome change!) We enjoyed some down time from our busy holiday schedule, and loved soaking up the location - from coffee by the lounge windows,; a read on the patio, cozying up with blankets. Marion has truly thought of enerything. The laundry in the bathroom is probably the most functional one we’ve had on out travels. A quick 10 min drive to town too to cafes and supermarket, and of course the gondola for amazing fjord views Lastly , Marion was a lovely responsive host, very helpful with local recommendations. If we ever find ourselves in this part of the world - we will definitely stay again!

Super great accommodation with breathtaking views! The jacuzzi and the free ferry to Leknes gave our stay the perfect finishing touch. In addition, the Airbnb is very cozy/lovingly furnished and fantastically equipped, including numerous board games and children's toys. We had a fantastic stay at Lars' house! The views from the modern jacuzzi were absolutely stunning—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The house itself is spacious and beautifully designed, with a large, well-equipped kitchen that made cooking a pleasure. We especially appreciated the use of the nearby boat for a bit of adventure on the water, and the charming hiking cabin up on the mountain was a cosy retreat to warm up in if needed. Don’t miss the nearby Likholefossen waterfall—it's definitely worth a visit! Lars was a friendly and generous host who made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

The house is really a place to feel at home - even it is only for a few days. The pictures in AirBnB show nothing more than the real beauty of this place. Sometimes the view is even better than on the pics. ;) The farm with the sheep is perfect for kids and please ask Ingvild for Lego - the kids love the box full of fun, especially on rainy days. :) The house itself has everything you need to have a good time at Ingvild and Lasses place. I totally recommend to enjoy a few days on this beautiful, cozy and relaxing place in Sæbø. :)

A charming guesthouse located in a peaceful area. It is perfect for families as there is plenty of space for children to play at, and many options for a scenic walk or nearby trip. Einar is also a nice host and easy to communicate with. We hope to come back and we recommend this place!

I would stay here over and over. It was peaceful, it was beautiful, it felt like a perfect relaxing getaway. If you wanted to get out you have a glacier a stones throw away that was one of the coolest things I’ve seen. Bring food, there is a great kitchen and not a lot of options for dining out. Take a walk and if you are lucky you will see horses and sheep. Heaven.

We spent three nights at Roar's place and wish we could have stayed longer. It was so peaceful with good walking from the doorstep, and lovely waking up to the sound of birdsong. Roar went out of his way to make us feel welcome and offered great walking recommendations. Thank you!

Cozy and extremely well decorated apartment with great views and a pristine environment. The location is also very convenient, about an hour’s drive to Geiranger. Monika was also a really helpful host, thanks for a good stay!

Karl’s place was spacious and well appointed. Although the kitchen was old it was spotless. The heating was great, and the place was very comfortable and functional. Most importantly it was an easy drive to either Olden valley and Lovatnet lake. We had three nights at Karl’s - a perfect amount of time to explore both areas and hike to all three glaciers. Side note - can highly recommend Kjenndalstova for a delicious lunch or afternoon tea! NB despite putting in the correct address for Karl’s place, both Apple and google maps got it wrong! (Google sent us up Lovatnet lake ~ 30 minutes one way …!) Karl tried to help by providing his phone number but we only have data coverage, no phone… Found it in the end thanks to a helpful hotel reception desk clerk who recognised the photo of the property!

Excellent property and extremely clean but needs clothes drier to go with washing machine. Everything else excellent with huge bathroom and lots of coffee. Would highly recommend for four but needs couch for 5 people. Great parking but bedrooms need suitcase stands along with nice nighttables. Lovely heated washroom floor and huge kitchen.

Gunn's apartment is located in the heart of Geiranger. It is walkable to the port and saved us parking. Surround is beautiful.

Yael's Villa was exactly what my wife and I needed for a couple nights while exploring Ålesund and the surrounding area. It had everything you need to feel at home and between the deck, the jacuzzi, sauna, and water access, you could stay put and be very happy about it! Yael should teach a masterclass for other Airbnb hosts on how to make their guests feel welcome and valued. He was incredibly helpful during our stay and was quick to respond any time I sent a message. His homemade sauna is impressive and a real treat after a long hike or a dip in the frigid weather. He charges a few bucks to use it to help with electric which is completely understandable. Can't say enough nice things about Yael and the time my wife and I spent at his place. Close to a bus stop that will get you into city center, but if you have a car and want to drive in, that's easy too. Don't pass this place up!

Such an amazing location in Olden and we loved being right on the water. Couldn’t think of a better place to stay. We loved spending time outside in the jacuzzi and using the fire pit. The town is nearby and the home included everything we needed.

Fabulous views and really responsive hosts. The location is convenient to many places in the region, but requires a solid drive to any of them. We used this as a base for Nordfjordeid, Loen, Stryn, Geiranger, and Bjorkedalen. You could easily get to Jostalbreen north entrance as well. All of these places are 30-60 mintues away, but we found it convenient. The views are stunning and it feels very private despite what it looks like on streetview/google Maps.
