Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Sullivan County

This place is a paradise. Adelene is by far the best host we have come across. We felt right at home. The place is located on a very serene and peaceful lake. The owner has decorated this place extremely wonderfully well. We had an amazing time. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway. A+++++

Our stay at Thorne Haven was exactly what we hoped it would be and then some. The kitchen had everything we needed (even some things we didn't know we needed...impromptu white gravy with the planned breakfast sausage) and the dining room fit us all (with an amazing view)! The guest rooms were comfortable and private, we had lots of "together" space and plenty of opportunity to step away as well. The activities were endless with something for everyone: the game room(s), the movie and/or reading options, board games, the hot tub, the lower deck, large yard for football/Frisbee/tag and the pond! But I think one of our favorite things was being able to have a fire in the main fireplace every day...so cozy and welcoming (suggest bringing a little of your own wood if you keep it going like we did)! Our family had the ideal get away: from the grandparents right down to the grandchildren & grand dogs! Thorne Haven is truly like a home away from home feeling and we will definitely go back.

Older house, but well-presented. Very clean considering pets are allowed here. Quiet neighborhood. All our needs were adequately met. Thank you, Russel!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Alison was super responsive to any questions I had. Overnight one night, we received several inches of snow and, before we left the house around 8am the next morning, someone had already come to plow the driveway, which we were extremely grateful for. We are grateful for a great rental in Eagles Mere!

My family of 4 had a great stay. We were in town for the World’s End Ultra. The place was convenient for driving to and from World’s End State Park. We had a few delicious meals in Eagles Mere during our stay. My teen boys enjoyed kayaking on the lake. My family and I also enjoyed walks around the lake and sitting around the outdoor fire pit.

Best place yet...beautiful and relaxing! Something for everyone no matter age & interests-so much to do. Great set up. Easy check in/out. Plenty of bathrooms to accommodate our group. Owners were awesome & welcoming! Very comfortable staying there-cozy feeling with tons of space for privacy. Ice machine, bar & hot tub were just a few of many bonuses. Enjoyed by all. Look forward to next visit!

Wonderful area. Lots to do. Felt right at home. VERY peaceful and relaxing. Everything is basically provided for you. If you enjoy wine, the winery is within walking distance. Would love to stay again!

We had a wonderful stay! Well appointed home with enough space for our family of 11. Walkable to shops and museum. We will definitely return again!

We loved everything about our stay here. So comfortable inside with beautiful finishes, comfy bedding and anything we needed in the kitchen. We were able to spread out, have 2 bathrooms to share, yet plenty of space to gather together. The hosts immediately responded to any questions making our stay stress free. We loved the lake view, sat by the pond in the back and drank coffee on the deck in the sun. Highly recommend Derek and Ronnie’s place and would definitely return when in the area again!

Michael & Sarah’s place is fantastic! Right on the lake with every amenity you could want (French press, dishwasher, home theatre, BBQ, and fire pit to name a few) The place was comfortable and clean, in an extremely tranquil location, perfect for coffee or wine looking out over the lake from the porch or dock. This home had all of the little touches that make for an extremely comfortable stay (like wood and fire starters at the fire pit). Michael and Sarah are very warm, friendly and welcoming - we would recommend this place to anyone we know visiting the area!

Wow! This place was perfect for our mountain hiking adventure weekend. We chose it because it had ample space, a kitchen and was near several of the parks we had looked into but what we got was so much more. The instructions were meticulous like every other detail of the space and was easy to follow for us who are from out of town. The space gave us and our teen nephew plenty of space to prepare and rest around our 8-mile outstanding hike at Ricketts Glenn Park. We hiked past more than 30 breathtaking waterfalls. We prepared our breakfasts and snacks in the fully equipped kitchen and slept like babies in the comfy bed. Each detail was considered, gently communicated and orderly. We are frequent travelers and this place stood out. We hope to be back soon.

We needed a place to stay overnight while visiting family and this place was perfect. The location is wonderful-very peaceful. The apartment was clean and comfortable. There was very little outside noise, so we slept undisturbed. The host, Michelle, was friendly and communicative. If I needed a place in this area again, I would definitely stay here again.

Sage tower was a comfortable peaceful place to stay in Berwick. We were close to all the activities and shopping we wanted to do. I recommend the apartment highly. Brian was helpful and responsive when we had questions.

Fantastic property. I am a big fan of the NEPA region as I’m a self-proclaimed train nut, so I was pleasantly surprised to find out the property is right across from the train station for a popular scenic railroad. Obviously I am a bit biased in my review since it’s right across from a train station… but I have to be honest, I am a simple man who is simple to please! It as very clean and for an Airbnb, not much was asked of me in terms of checkout. 5 stars for this stay!

Clean and comfortable accommodations and plenty of rooms for our 2 dogs. Close to restaurants in town and hiking areas. Would be happy to return for future stay.

The place is right on a heavily used road. When you are out back you cannot hear the traffic but when you are in the living room you can hear a lot of trucks go by. We got use to it after being there for a day or two but just to let people know. Other wise the hot tub was relaxing and enjoyable. We had a little bit of snow so that was pretty too. Was a very homey place and would definitely stay again. We love places where our dogs are welcomed and they enjoyed themselves as well.

We had enjoyed this much needed getaway. It's a peaceful surroundings and loved how everything was within reason. Will definitely go again. It felt like being home but a long way from home. Makes you think to move in the area.

We loved our stay at Chris and Rachel's Beechwood cabin! It was exactly what we were looking for - cozy and relaxing while being close to amazing state parks and trails; only 30 mins to Ricketts Glen and 10 mins to Worlds End State Park. Also Dutchman Falls is only 5 minutes away, and it's also beautiful. It was so nice to come back to this place and soak in the hot tub and the cozy fireplace. It even snowed while we were there which made it all the more cozy. They were such friendly, responsive and helpful hosts too. We highly recommend staying at Chris and Rachel's place if you're planning to visit Ricketts Glen and Worlds End State Park.

Bell cabin is an absolutely wonderful place to unplug and relax! Between the serene surroundings, the adorable cabin, and the access to the creek, our group had an absolutely fabulous time. I highly recommend this place for any family or friend group looking to unplug.

What a gem. Took a bit to find the lockbox but that was the most of the trouble. Threw up a starlink satellite in the front by the directv and it worked great. Not too far from town was easy to grab groceries prior to check in. The place was clean and the scenery was great. Very private and relaxing. I’d love to return to this cabin again. A+++ host and cabin. Don’t miss out on this remote hidden gem.

The place was just as the pictures and listed depicted- very clean and cozy along the river. We loved having a weekend getaway from WiFi and cell service. River was super responsive when I had questions and offered suggestions of things to do in the area since we were expecting rain for the weekend. I loved listening to the sounds of the creek outside on the porch with my coffee in the morning. It was also really lovely to bring our dog who also loved the porch. Thank you for a lovely time!

Great place to stay for the World's End 100K race that me and my friend ran in over the May 31 weekend. We did not realize that the half bath was upstairs with the bedrooms and it was only a toilet. That was a misreading on our part. It ended up working out but just know that the full bathroom (that's super nice and updated) is all the way down on the lower level. But we made it work and the house was awesome... if the weather had been nicer we would have been able to enjoy the fire pit and the S'mores Kit they put together for us. Would definitely stay there again!
