Now we have the dream object of a lonely fisherman. It is not spoiled by modern conveniences, except that you get electricity for the refrigerator. And the phone charged when needed. Well, maybe in the dark of autumn, we can bring an electric light here... There is an outdoor toilet and drinking water can be fetched from the neighbor. Heat is provided by a wood-burning stove and water for the sauna can be fetched from the lake with a bucket. It is also possible to change that ball grill to a gas one. Addition. Welcome to Villa Jaakkola! Villa Jaakkola is a log villa completed in 2022 in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski. The villa is spacious and roomy. Downstairs there is one bedroom and a sauna + bathroom. The loft also has plenty of space and sleeping places. The cottage has all the modern comforts and the large windows open up to a magnificent lake landscape in two directions. In the warmth of the fireplace, it is nice to watch the northern lights and listen to the silence. You will enjoy and relax here, welcome!

You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!
