Townhouse holiday rentals in Surf City

We loved the airbnb and the location. We had some struggles with the Wi-fi but Kayce took care of the problem which was great because we had a lot of rain. We ended up only using 2 out of 3 bedrooms but if we need a 3 bedroom next visit we would definitely stay here again. Oh, and loved the big comfy couch!!

David and Kris were terrific hosts! They went out of their way to keep us informed of fun events happening around the island, which we greatly appreciated as it was our first time to BHI. The unit is just as pictured and beautifully renovated. Kitchen is expertly organized and has full array of cookware. The location is central on the island, making it a quick ride to the market, beach, club, etc. The surrounding live oaks and foliage are beautiful. I would definitely recommend! We will be back.

Rob's place is the perfect retreat for rest and relaxation! The view from the master bedroom's upstairs deck is wonderful. Leave the door open at night and be lulled to sleep with the calming sounds of waves. The sunrises are spectacular! The beach is not crowded and there is plenty of space for all your beach gear, tents, chairs, etc. Rob's Ocean Breeze (ocean front) townhouse is spacious with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. The place is very clean and decorated in a coastal theme. He provides all the amenities you need to enjoy your beach getaway. The private beach access is literally steps away from the back deck. It's about 50 yards from the townhouse to the ocean. The Kure Beach Fishing Pier is just a 1/2 mile walk from Rob's place. Once you've arrived at the pier, you can browse through the pier's gift shop before heading out to the town of Kure Beach where you can eat at one of the town's local restaurants. The vibe at Kure Beach is fun and festive!

My wife and I wanted to try somewhere different since we normally go to the beach in Atlantic Beach. We decided to try Topsail. What a great decision. Missy's place was fantastic!! We found it to be exactly as advertised. It was very clean and comfortable. Conveniently located to local restaurants and activities. It was a very short walk to the pool and beach. And the VIEWS WERE SPECTACULAR!! Missy was a great host. She was very responsive and friendly. We would highly recommend it and will for sure be back ourselves. The only negative from our stay was having to leave!!

Robyn’s place was everything we asked for and needed for our yearly family vacation to Kure beach. The place was very clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Being steps away from the ocean made this stay so special. The balcony upstairs was a wonderful bonus for early morning coffee and watching sunsets. Thanks again Robyn for sharing your place with us.

This was our 2nd family vacation on Carolina Beach. Our family rented 2 places close to each other. This rental was very clean and nicely decorated. It was comfortable for 7 adults and 2 dogs. We hosted dinners for 20 easily. The elevator was nice for loading/unloading the cars. Had 1 issue with the front door lock, which Connie & Joe fixed the next day.

We had the most AMAZING stay at John and Katie’s place. The bedrooms were spotless absolutely beautiful big bedrooms. The living area was so cozy and comfortable for the five of us. It really is only a mile from the beach and the pool in the neighborhood was wonderful. The best part of the stay was having hosts that were so responsive. Initially we thought there was an issue with the air conditioning but John and Katie had an HVAC technician to the place in less than 20 minutes and it turned out the breaker was just tripped. I would give this 10 stars if I could and recommend this Airbnb to everyone who is staying in Wilmington. We will be back. Thank you John and Katie!!!!

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The home itself was stunning—spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The pool was a highlight for us, perfect for relaxing after the beach. Speaking of the beach, it was just a short walk away, which made it so convenient to come and go as we pleased. We also rented a golf cart, which was a fun and easy way to explore the area. We visited some great local shops and restaurants nearby—it really made the whole experience feel like a true vacation. This place was well worth the price, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

In a word, I would describe our stay as WONDERFUL. The easy accessibility to the beach and pool was great! Views were amazing. My wife kept saying she could not believe how clean the entire AirBNB was. Finally, we have a senior dog and the elevator was a game changer for him and for loading and unloading our stuff.

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this location! The neighborhood was quiet and walkable. The point and location on the island felt very private and family-friendly. Beach and sound access points were super close. Having access to the calmer sound side or more active beach side gave us amazing options for activities. Being across the street from the pool gave us views on busyness (when to go or not go - though even "busy" was not overly crowded). The views were beautiful, the house super clean, the beds were so comfortable, and the ability to use beach gear, wagon, and towels was a blessing! Truly this felt like a home away from home and we are so grateful. Krisha was proactive in getting all information to us in advance and her responsiveness while there was superb. She even had a welcome card and bottle of wine awaiting us! This was our first experience with renting a beach home...but because of how wonderful this experience was, won't be our last. Thank you, Krisha!

What a perfect location for families!! Andy's place is perfect for families with children of all ages. It was close enough that we felt comfortable letting our teens explore the beach on their own and easy for me to take our toddler back to the house for a nap. The upstairs loft was spacious and had beds for everyone. They had lots of thoughful details including a "in case you forgot" bin in each bathroom. The outdoor space is adorable and great to visit and enjoy the salty air. My husbands favorite spot was the well stocked outdoor shower. So, whether you are traveling with young or older kiddos, this place is perfect!!

The house was perfect for our stay. We were right on the beach which was so nice with grandkids. The house had tons of games to play which was really nice. The kitchen was well stocked and all the beds were comfy. The house was very clean which is really appreciated. We had a great stay, thank you!

Our stay was wonderful. Tammi and Jim are wonderful hosts who kept checking in with us during our stay. The place was awesome, it had board games, uno, domino and wonderful books as well. It rained the weekend we were there so these things made it easy to stay indoors. They recommended local restaurants which were at a walkable distance. Also there was a lot of beach stuff that was available in the unit to use - which was very nice. Highly recommend this place

Dan’s listing was an incredible place to stay at! The house was right next to the beach and had everything you could ever need to cook and clean. It is so nice to go to a house and not have to buy salt and pepper! Also, the house was not far down the island so getting to grocery stores off the island only took a few minutes! The place was very great for our group and we definitely recommend staying here for anyone who is considering this listing! I also appreciate how Dan tried to help us find parking when one of our guest had to arrive latter than intended and we were already over the parking allowed at the property! Thank you so much!

Condo was Clean and fully furnished with extra little amenities to get us started for the week that were very thoughtful. Very responsive to our questions. Really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back!! A short walk across the street to access the beach. Beautiful view of the sound from the back.

This is the 3rd time we've stayed at this condo. Although it's not directly on the beach, the walk is short and easy!!! The 2 balconies are the best after a long day at the beach or for a cup of coffee in the a.m. Our family loves this spot in surf city and will return again!

The location was excellent — right across the street from the beach. The space was great for our group and we loved all the windows and morning light on the front deck.

This is the second time I have stayed here. The first time was a corporate outing and this time for my daughters graduation. Great location, clean beautiful house great accommodations. House is very well prepared for any occasion.

The house was great! We truly enjoyed our visit. No need to bring anything that you need beaches!

This was our second time staying at this place. We traveled across the country from Texas and it was just as great as last time! Would recommend for anyone wanting a beach getaway!

Nicole’s place is super cute, tastefully decorated. It was stocked with every utensil we needed to be cooking in most all our meals PLUS containers for leftovers. Linens were cotton, no poly itchy junk. Loads of beach towels to borrow and all fun stuff like boogie boards and chairs and a CART to pull it all! Laundry was awesome to be able to do and she has a vacuum to clean up anything that got into the house even after we could use the outdoor shower below. The dead end street with a private view of the marsh was gorgeous. Think cranes and blue herons to drink your coffee with. Walk to the beach was close enough to run home and use the bathroom if needed. So convenient! The house was spotless, thank god. One and only downside for our teens was that there really isn’t anything close to “do” aside from beach. Which was exactly why WE loved it. They rode bikes for fun. Restaurants are a drive. Cute Tiki Bar that’s family friendly a block away. Grocery 15-30. Skip Rick’s!

The view is impeccable, the house is spacious as well as spotless, the atmosphere is serene. My mother and I wanted a quiet getaway, and we got exactly that. On an interesting note, there is some occasional noise of a very particular type. Camp Lejeune is right across the bay so you may hear some distant artillery testing and fly-bys of military helicopters. The sounds from these were infrequent and non intrusive, being pretty distant. I found it intriguing and even entertaining. My mother and I brought our own cooking ingredients and we appreciated the well stocked kitchen supplies such as pots and various cooking utensils. We never wanted for anything. My mother would sit by the window to enjoy the view while doing her embroidery. I used one of the kayaks twice, and appreciated the supplied life jackets. I thoroughly enjoyed the calm waters. My favorite thing to do during my stay was to sit by the water watching the birds catching fish and reading books. We hope to come again!

We had an amazing weekend at Jonathan’s townhouse. He was one of the best hosts we’ve had and the description was 100% accurate. Only complaint is the beach erosion on that part of the island created a steep drop off which was challenging for our family with 3 children. Will definitely be back ! Thanks again!
