Waterfront holiday rentals in Surf Coast Shire

We were down for the weekend to watch the footy. Lots of places booked out, it was a busy weekend in Geelong - boat show/racing, regatta, footy, air show next weekend, lucky to find Nicks place available. Walking distance to GMHBA stadium and eateries and waterfront. Nice place, old unit that’s been done up. Garage is small/low, our hatchback fitted but an SUV wouldn’t. A comfortable stay in a good location. Nick was a friendly and helpful host.

My second stay at Samantha’s. Just as wonderful as the first! Gorgeous apartment, such comfy beds and very well equipped bathroom and kitchen. The gym in the building is well equipped too. Samatha was always friendly and prompt with communication thank you for another great visit!

Apartment is bigger than the photos very very very clean apartment definitely got a beautiful view from the lounge room. The kitchen and the bedroom definitely would book this place again nice decent size for two bedroom apartment. Good water pressure soft beds

beautiful place close to the beach and a short walk to the main shops. the place was immaculate and the host was very friendly and good at communicating. will 100% stay again if we come back to lorne :)

Maree provides a seamless checkin and exit process. Unit was spotless and fully equipped, instructions were clear and thorough. Location is excellent! Couple of minutes walk to the water and restaurants. Super handy to get to and from Avalon airport. Couch and bed very comfortable. Really liked the flexible layout of the living space! Perfect for what we needed, a base to stay while we attended a wedding and visited friends. Price is very reasonable and comparable to hotel rates but with the added bonus of having the entire place to yourself! Would certainly stay here again when we next visit Geelong. Absolutely stunning place to stay! Everything was great; comfortable beds, clean apartment, and spectacular views. We will be back every time we come to Geelong, if we can.

Great location - ground floor and direct access to the footpath a plus. Very clean and suited our needs well. Car park was a bit hairy to navigate but heaps of onstreet parking available if you have a larger vehicle.

Pros: Beautiful furniture and location is close to the waterfront. Bed was comfortable and lots of little considerations were appreciated. Cons: Very overpriced for a studio apartment with no view or privacy, next to an office building where blinds have to be closed at all times. No microwave was frustrating since I was instructed to do dishes myself. (unfair at this price point) I didn't want to do dishes but had no choice as there was no other way to heat my food but to use the stove top. No WiFi instructions anywhere and had to contact host to get them.

My partner and I had a relaxing and peaceful stay at Zoe and Juliet's place. The house was hidden at the back of the block and had beautiful views of the water. Inside it felt like a real home - the couches were very comfortable, the heating warmed the house up very quickly and the kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner at home. We weren't able to stay for as long as we had hoped due to work issues in the end, but if we return to Lorne, we'll be booking again.

The location of the home was perfect for us, with walking distance to the beach and into Torquay. The house had everything we needed with all amenities for a 5 night stay. Jo was more than helpful with everything from booking to check out and ensuring the place had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

It is a lovely property. The outdoor shower with hot water made returning from the beach really easy. We all enjoyed seeing kookaburras and kangaroos out of the window.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The view from inside or on the deck was precisely what we were looking for. Somewhere to relax and see nature at its best. The views exceeded our expectations and we loved the visit from the wildlife also. Very relaxing stay for us oldies. We love visiting Lorne as it brings back family memories with our children.

We are a family of four with 2 adult children, and there was plenty of space and good facilities, was very handy having a second bathroom. A great base for the Great Ocean Road Running Festival!

We had a lovely stay at Ange’s place and felt right at home straight away. It was comfortable, clean and cosy - and we appreciated the thoughtful details like the welcome board and treats. The large, secured yard is perfect for furry friends.

We had the most beautiful stay at this property – it truly exceeded our expectations. The house was absolutely perfect – spacious, clean, and beautifully presented with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The large family living areas made it easy for everyone to spend time together, and the outdoor space was a highlight! We especially loved the hot tub, pool, and sauna – such a treat and perfect for both fun and relaxation. The host, Amit, was outstanding – incredibly responsive and easy to contact. He provided helpful updates before and during our stay, and checked in to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. His attention to detail and thoughtful communication really made the experience feel extra special. We can’t wait to book again – highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious and stress-free escape!

This home is literally a paradise on earth. Worth every penny. The photos do not do it justice.
