Beachfront holiday rental in Sweden

This house was wonderful. The area is so beautiful and being so close to the lake was great fun. We had no problems and had a great time! Everything was as described and we loved being in the countryside. We'd love to stay here again.

Janette and Stig have been amazing during the stay. The house is ideally placed if you want to take some rest from big cities. The Sauna and Jacuzzi are perfect ! I definitively recommend !

Katarina is an amazing host who is kind, showed us around, gave us tips and was very helpful at all times. The cottage was magical, exactly as described. We spent the most of the time grilling outside the cottage with the lake view. It was a really relaxing weekend and we definitely recommend Katarina as a host! We stayed in the house for 6 days with my spouse and our child, and we were extremely satisfied with everything. One of the highlights was the stunning sea view — enjoying our morning coffee while looking out at the water was such a peaceful start to the day. The jacuzzi was also a great touch — clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding after a long day. The house was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. It’s located in a quiet and peaceful area, which made it ideal for spending quality family time. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially families

We had a wonderful time in the cozy, nicely furnished cottage. It's a beautiful location and the service is great.

It is very difficult to explain how beautiful this location and this cottage is. It meant for us to come home to the most beautiful place we ever saw when we entered. The view is stunning. Delicious breakfast on the wooden deck with this great view is sublime. Sleeping with the curtains open because you will then look out over the bay from your bed when you wake up. It can't be nicer. We have lovely hikes with the dogs and campfire on the beach. Totally idyllic! The cottage is cute, comfortable and cozy. We can't wait to come back.

We had a very nice time in the accommodation. The hut is very nicely located with great views of the river and forest. The hot tub and sauna are clearly a highlight. The location is private and undisturbed. Unfortunately, no wardrobes were available. As mentioned earlier, the water has a slight odor, color and taste. That's why we preferred bottled water. Tobias and Nick provided detailed and helpful information and responded quickly and reliably to any questions. We were happy to be their guests.

We are a family of four with two teenage boys. This was the third year in a row we spent a long weekend at Johan and Reina’s place. It is a spacious, well equipped house without being generic or over-done as so many AirBnbs tend to be. It is just authentic, lovable and personal - as are its host who are experienced, generous hosts in the best meaning of the word. We would definitely recommend the house to anyone who wants to experience Swedish skjärgård, its quiet and idyllic nature.

The accommodation had a fantastic location, with very good technical equipment, we would spend our vacation there again at any time with great pleasure.

We felt very comfortable in Ewa's villa. Everything is furnished with a lot of love for detail - wonderful. The spacious house is beautifully situated on the lake. We were often able to go canoeing. There is a great garden with many seats to relax. We enjoyed the time very much. Ewa is really very nice and helpful.

Everyone who was there was completely shocked and positively surprised. It was like a dream come true. 🔥

The second time I, and this time with my wife, visit this nice and welcoming accommodation. Gammelgården with its 18th century roots and the more recently built Stallet (in the old style) is located in the fantastic Kullabygden and the idyllic village of Arild, just a stone's throw from hiking trails, swimming and top restaurants. Also within walking distance of Arild's vineyard. We would be glad to come back!

We had a fantastic two weeks and were very welcome by Léon and Karin. We have loved the tranquility and space at the beautiful lake. The villa is very fully equipped, with all the comforts. We felt at home. Every evening we had the wood stove on and in the fire pit on the mountain we had winter- bbq. Sausages on the fire and mashmallows, and then enjoy the immense silence, wow! We fished and we were allowed to use the sled to sled from the mountain and toys were also ready. The kids thought it was fantastic. The walks in the folder were also nice to do. So many nice things to see in the area. Gränna, Eksjo and more. In the night visit of deer and at Christmas visit from Santa Claus! So nice! Winter wonderland. We are fully equipped and actually didn't want to go home anymore. A fabulous Christmas and New Year's Eve. We will absolutely be back!

Beautiful little house with whirlpool and great view. There were a few minor things that could be improved, but if no one says anything, the host won't know. So we simply pointed out that the bed could be moved. Then there would be more space, etc... the whirlpool is a treat, but there are other houses and the residents walk past the whirlpool. I thought that was kind of weird. There were always people at the pier, which is shared with other accommodations. Several houses are probably rented and they all meet. That wasn't clear to us before. I would have liked to bathe without spectators. The view is a dream, the hosts are very nice. The nearest supermarket is about 12 kilometers away. All in all, great for a short break.

Our stay at this unforgettable Airbnb on Varholma was truly a dream come true. The house itself is beautifully and thoughtfully designed, with cozy Scandinavian interiors and so much attention to detail. Every corner feels warm, inviting, and filled with love. Whether it’s raining or the sun is shining, this place offers the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. And the sunsets? Simply breathtaking. Sitting outside in the evening, watching the sky turn golden over the water, was an experience we’ll never forget. We can’t recommend this magical spot enough!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin! The location is stunning and peaceful, perfect for unwinding and recharging. The cabin had everything we needed, from cozy interiors to modern amenities. LT was communicative, respectful, and always available when needed. We highly recommend this place if you’re looking to relax, refocus, and enjoy a scenic getaway!

We arrived and felt right at home. The house is a dream and the lake right next to it is a great way to explore nature by kayaks or boat. All in all, we had a great time and will be happy to come back. :)

We had a wonderful time at the place! The view of the lake is really fantastic. We also used the sauna and - if we had stayed longer - would certainly have taken a canoe trip. The location is wonderful: on the one hand, you are in the middle of nature and can enjoy the tranquility, but at the same time, you can also quickly reach various excursion destinations in the area, especially in and around Gothenburg. August was very friendly and accommodating. He provided us with a baby bed for our son at short notice. We would have liked to stay a little longer!

We had a great stay at Steen and Karen-Helle's place! The house is secluded behind a hill so you are completely free of roads and neighbors. From the large patio you have a great view of the lake. Rustic feeling but with all the modernities you need (fast internet, sound system, smart TV, etc). Plenty of sleeping places. Big plus for the spacious and well-equipped kitchen + 3 barbecues that we could cook hearty dinners in! We thought maybe 1€/wood for the stove/sauna was a bit expensive, but it wasn't that much for us anyway so it didn't matter too much.
