Holiday rentals with lake access in Sylvan Beach

House was clean and my family enjoyed the stay and were comfortable. It would have been good if we had some camp fire materials in the house itself. Since we have been used to other airbnb places that had the materials in house, and we had some places to visit, it was difficult to purchase them in our busy schedule. Having them in house would help for future guests. the checkin, checkout and other amenities were all great!! the host was very responsive and helpful.

My sons and I had a great stay. The home was very clean and comfortable. Parking was easy even though we had three vehicles and a trailer. We had a great stay and are Looking forward to going back again.

My family and I had a great time out here. The house is very cozy and the location is very quiet. We loved the lake access which has a really nice sunset. Can’t beat it for the price.

I can't say enough great things about our stay! The hosts were awesome to deal with...always accommodating and available, the location was perfect...right on the water/ice, the residence exceeded our expectations and had everything we needed. The location is perfect with a short walk to exceptional fishing. No need to scramble trying to find parking...its all right there for you. We enjoyed a weekend of ice fishing with family and friends and definitely plan on coming back this year. On a scale of 1 to 10...this is an 11! Highly recommend!

Ryan's place is one of the best Airbnb homes we have visited and pictures do not do the place justice. The open concept layout is great and the entire house is furnished and decorated beautifully. The living room is so cozy with the electric fireplace and the leather recliner (which is not in the pictures) in addition to the sofa. The master bedroom is very spacious and there is a second TV which my husband appreciated. The house is fully equipped and very clean. This was the second time staying at this Airbnb and we will stay here whenever we are in the area. This house is conveniently located to so many stores and restaurants and only 2 min to Target, Tops, Panera bread, McDonald's and 3 min to Starbucks. Wegmans and Trader Joe's is only about 8 min away and Syracuse U is 18 min away. This is a perfect housee for any SU families visiting their child.

We enjoyed our stay on the lake as our yearly family getaway. We had age ranges from 1 to 65 and was great for all ages. The screened in porches are nice to enjoy the lake view. House had all supplies and amenities that we needed for our visit.

We stayed here for my daughter’s graduation from Syracuse. Although a drive from the city, it was a great choice for hanging out away from the busyness of Syracuse. We really enjoyed our time here and it was a good set up for my ILs who had access to the downstairs bedroom and bathroom.

Great place to stay with a very nice view. Nice and peaceful area.

We were n town for a family funeral, but wanted to enjoy the company of extended family while in town. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Beautiful area—so conducive to reflection and yet perfectly set up for communing with family. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a great stay here, off the beaten path a little, but absolutely worth the trip. Nice little dock area that's easy to access and a beautiful lake. Short drive to the city proper and right around the corner to a few staples.

This is my second stay at Melinda and Kim’s Airbnb. They are the most wonderful hosts, and the place is beautiful and comfy. Melinda goes above and beyond with everything she does.

Great location, cozy little spot!

I would certainly stay there again. With every review I give positives and negatives. The key negative was the building is older. This means the floors are a bit uneven, things like that. I've stayed in several places in the NY lakes region and they are all older. only other negative observations were the main TV was on the smaller side and WIFI was spotty at one end of the building. Positives. + Kitchen was in great shape. Appliances all worked well. Lisa left lots of coffee and tea + Lots of room, space for 7-8 people. + Several bathrooms + Heat worked well, water pressure was good, water temperature responsive, utilities all worked well + Great location, right on the main street downtown in a charming village but easy drive to Syracuse (my end location) + Easy check in, parking space included + Lisa's communication was outstanding I felt the apartment was priced well for what I got. Really appreciated the stay and I would certainly do it again.

We had a really comfortable stay at Eileen and Randy’s place. It was accurately described and immaculately clean. Eileen was very reachable and responsive and it was lovely to meet her and put a face to the name. We were visiting family in the area all the way from Sydney Australia. Eileen and Randy’s really was our home away from home!

JackSun had a beautiful place. The house was very clean with lots of kitchen utensils and towels. The place is exactly as described we kayaked and enjoyed the hot tub then grilling after by the fireplace. The only thing that didn’t work was the tv and fireplace.

Brian and Melissa were flexible with early check in and a later check out. It allowed us the opportunity to enjoy all of the Colgate commencement weekend activities. We were very grateful. Thank you for being such gracious hosts.

This space was so cute! Very clean, host instructions were clear and easy to follow. Close to the beach and activities but far enough that it’s quiet. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering staying in the area. Thank you for opening your space to us!

This cottage is so close to the water it was surreal. The fire pit is right at the water's edge. The place is laid out well and the furniture and beds were very comfortable. There is a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of very hot water. The views from the living room and deck are stunning. We only stayed one night, but wished it was longer. Such a great get away.

We loved this little lake house, so charming and cozy. The place was easy to find and located in a nice lake community with lots to do near by

We were 2 couples that went for a snowmobiling vacation. The accommodations were as advertised. Very quiet , serene setting with a killer view over the lake. I’d like to come back in the summertime and enjoy the water. The house had everything required for our stay and the driveway and walkways were well plowed and shoveled upon arrival. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice getaway in God’s country.

Great host! Very responsive and accommodating. And the view of the lake was awesome!

This cottage fit my family of 3 perfectly. My son loved the private path right to the beach and loved riding his bike everywhere we went. I loved that you can hear the live music from the outdoor band down the street and I enjoyed the people watching with my coffee. It was slightly noisy all night long the traffic is quit loud but with the AC fan on it wasn’t as hard to handle. It was worth it for the local to everything. My son was so upset when he had to leave.

My family and I had a wonderful getaway at the lake house. The place was spacious, clean and very accommodating. There is plenty to do and the host provided a fully stocked house with items for everyday use and needs. The host is also very communicative and will always help you with whatever questions you have. We spent a great time there and will definitely come back. Highly recomend!
