Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Tahoma

The chalet was immaculate. It is so nice, after travelling 7 hours, to not have to clean a place first before unpacking. Also, the chalet had very thoughtful amenities: women's sanitary products, plenty of cleaning supplies, all of the needed (and then some) kitchen utensils, pots, pans, etc., nice appliances that work and are very clean, plenty of paper products (t.p. and paper towels) and comfortable furnishings. We highly recommend the chalet for a couple or a couple with 2 young children. The stairs from the garage are steep and narrow - a bit challenging carrying suitcases up (we recommend unloading vehicle from the driveway and using front deck stairs. Also, we loved the two decks and utilized both - following the sun from one side to the other. I do suggest a table on the decks would be nice for eating outdoors. Lastly, the very nice bikes Michael provided us (rental) were a wonderful touch. We enjoy riding the path along the lake. Thank you Michael & Shayla!

This cabin was very cozy and just what we were looking for. Great place for a couple. Enjoying the hot tub while snow fell around us was a memorable experience and one of my favorite parts of the whole trip! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and there were several great restaurants within walking distance that we checked out. I loved our stay there!

This place was beautiful and spacious!! The BBQ and patio were a great feature, and it's only a few minutes to drive down to the lake! Our kids really enjoyed it, and having their own TV in their room gave us some time to ourselves here and there as well since they could hang out down there. The master bath is incredible as well, and the jetted tub with the waterfall is amazing, and the shower was very relaxing too! Will definitely save this one in case we're in the area again!

We had a wonderful stay at Harry's place! We loved the relaxing cabin vibe with the view of Lake Tahoe through the trees and enjoyed the hiking trail in walking distance to the house. Harry was a very responsive and accommodating host - definitely would recommend staying here!

This was one of my favorite places I’ve stayed. The views are amazing and the house was a great place to hang out with the family. Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful home! I could not have asked for better. The property was very clean, exactly as described, and in a perfect location. Waking up in the morning, sipping my coffee, and enjoying the amazing view of the lake was the perfect experience. It was my family’s first trip to Lake Tahoe, and we all felt right at home, everything we needed was provided. The instructions were clear, and we had no problems checking in. The driveway can get icy, but the owners were well-prepared and had ice scrapers and shovels ready for us. That’s top-notch service and thoughtful preparation. Again, thank you for the perfect experience. You truly deserve no less than perfect.

The house is extremely cosy, we felt right at home. The fireplace was ready to start when we arrived and we enjoyed a night of game board (which are numerous and of quality) in front of the warming fire. The decoration was very well done and the kitchen very well equipped. The bathrooms although on the smaller side were well furnished and the quality of the body wash products excellent. Roxie and Greg were very communicative and helped resolving an issue before we arrived. We would definitely come back, it's a perfect location for spending Christmas.

Gorgeous home with flowing creek behind it. Loved how each room had its own bathroom. Perfect for a couples retreat! The Kevin is responsive to whatever your needs are.

We loved staying at this air bnb, there were a couple things missing or broken that we needed, laundry detergent, etc. all in all though great neighborhood and place to book for a couple of nights. For anyone else booking for the summer time, there was no AC although the fans work great and open windows at night too. It was perfect for smaller company, for us it was just 2 people and the area was absolutely lovely, we would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay in Tahoe City. Our accommodations felt like a home away from home, so we were able to enjoy some family time away. It felt safe and secure. The kids found the games late during our stay, and want to come back to enjoy them and the home.

It’s at a good distance from the various hikes and beaches we wanted to explore. All the breakfast and dinner spots we tried were from the list of recommendations given by the Airbnb hosts, and every place turned out to be great! In case anyone’s wondering, the property is surrounded by other units, so it’s not secluded.

I had a great stay at Marci’s place! The house was clean, had great instructions/recommendations for the house and area, and the backyard and deck were so nice to have. There was quite a bit of pollen due to all the nearby trees, so if you are allergic remember to bring allergy meds in the summer. The kitchen was very well stocked. They also provided a kayak and a lot of beach gear. The hot tub was fantastic!

We enjoyed staying at Heathers place. It was a great location and not too far from everything in Tahoe that we wanted to do. It had all the things we needed in a Airbnb and the outdoor views were beautiful! I will warn you that you can hear EVERYTHING the neighbors above you are doing or saying so it was very loud up until the late hours of the night. It’s not the hosts fault at all, so I would never blame them. It didn’t bother us too much, and they do provide sound machines in all the rooms, which definitely helped with that.

We had a wonderful stay at Michael’s place in Lake Tahoe! The space was quaint, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The location was ideal—close to all the activities we had planned, which made getting around super convenient. Michael and Tay were incredibly responsive and provided clear, detailed instructions that made everything easy from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend this spot if you’re visiting Lake Tahoe—we’d definitely stay here again!

A beatiful house with gorgeous views. The location could nit be better. Will be bakc in the summer!

Our group had an incredible trip! The house was exactly like the photos (possibly even better) and slept 10 adults comfortably. The hosts were incredibly responsive and ensured we had everything we needed. It was a peaceful location up the mountain only 5 minutes from the ski lift and less than 10 minutes from downtown South Lake Tahoe. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks for the good times.

What a location and space for a family of 6. Location was supreme! Truly walkable to all Heavenly village for restaurants, gondola, Target and other attractions. Saves so much on parking and letting people come and go without using a car. Clean! Spotless! A well cared for home that was tidy with the perfect set of amenities to cook meals for the family. Kitchen appliances were high end. Bathrooms felt like its own apartment with large tubs, counter space and showers. Beds were so comfy and firm. They felt like new mattresses. Wow. What a restful sleep after all the fun activities. 3 floors, so everyone had personal space to telework and break off to at the end of the day. If you are teetering on whether or not to book a stay, just do it. This place is a wonderful retreat from the outside, and makes you comfortable enough to “stay-in”. This house offers so much inside that you almost forget that there’s Tahoe outside!

Beautiful home with lots of natural light and views of the surrounding hills. Beds were comfortable and owners were welcoming. We would definitely stay again.

We traveled with my almost 3 year old and 2 month old. Cynthia’s home was as listed. Looked just like the photos. We loved the fenced in backyard and my son had fun playing out there. There was a pack and play for my infant. Cozy beds, clean, and comfortable. Close to everything in South Tahoe and Emerald Bay. Was perfect for what we needed! Would stay again.

The entire R&R team was so helpful and available. They made our stay a breeze! Loved the home and the location. We would definitely re-book!

Great location. The two bedroom suite was very comfortable and spacious. Very nice having 2 bathrooms as well. The indoor pool was great, as were the multiple hot tubs. Great place to stay, would recommend to anyone.

Wonderful stay for a group of 8 there for snowboarding. It had all of my “musts”: 1. Convenient access to village/gondola - using the Northstar app you can request the bus to come right in front of the house 2. Great, spacious, well equipped/updated kitchen with big dining table - we love cooking our family style breakfasts and dinners 3. Multiple rooms and bathrooms - each room had its own full bathroom! 4. Big, functioning hot tub that was right there on the deck and easy to get to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
