Holiday rentals with a kayak in Takitumu District

We had a wonderful time at Tepua's Pae Moana in Rarotonga. All was very well presented, comfortable, welcoming, and the house had so many helpful items to keep our days from sunrise to bed, more at home and enjoyable! The fruit, coffee, milk, spices, and dried goods to start our first day was such a boost. All furniture was comfortable and created an open space to visit and go outside, while still feeling part of the location. The kayaks and SUP, extra gear was fantastic! There was so much to do every day. Tepua's Manager Pamela was receptive and extremely helpful via Tepua prior to our stay, which was very reassuring. She does a great job keeping the house clean and ready for guests - to relax and enjoy the beautiful space and surroundings. Lovely vacation and special place.

Amazing home, achieve all our expectativas, you have one of the best beaches just in front where you can snorkel or swim , supermarket 200 meters, kayak, snorkel all for you. The house is in perfect conditions and Tuaine is a lovely person. Definitely will come back.

We stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time snorkeling the lagoon. A really lovely spot to sit and enjoy the day with great views. The location is great with wigmores across the road, with everything you could need, yummy ice creams too! We enjoyed our stay here, very spacious and comfortable house and Tony was a great host.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The view from the deck is breathtaking and the lagoon straight out the back door was great for canoeing and swimming. The house is located near the night market, lots of activities, shops and places to eat. We had an amazing stay and would happily go back again!

Anchor sands is a hidden gem of the cook islands, we are so glad we choose this Airbnb instead of a resort. We have 2 teenagers 14 & 16 and this place was perfect for us, kids could sleep in their own rooms with out being woken up by other guests. We were able to connect to the TV and stream Netflix and Prime. But best of all was the location, the best snorkelling and fish - straight in front of the house. We would see the tour boats anchor out the front each (far out, not close to the shore), so that tells you its a good spot for snorkelling. But best of all was the view from the deck, we sat their for hours each morning having coffee, relaxing and reading books. Its close to shops, not to far from town (25mins), Go Local turtle tours is just down the Road, Same with Wigmores (who do the best ice creams), and some great restaurants too, like Charlies, Vaima on the Beach, Little Polynesia. We feel staying here made our holiday, it is an exceptional property and location. Thank you!!!

Dear Natalie & Donna, Thank you both so much for sharing Beach Vibe with us – it was absolutely perfect. We've stayed in Rarotonga more than 20 times, and your home truly stands out as one of the best. The house is incredibly spacious, beautifully clean and tidy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing island getaway. The snorkeling right out front was a real highlight – warm water, plenty of reef fish. Having kayaks and snorkel gear provided was such a bonus and meant we could make the most of the amazing location. For future guests, we’d recommend Vianna’s for a laid-back bar vibe, Nautilus and BJ’s for some fantastic small plates or finer dining, and the Bond Store for the best value alcohol outside of duty free. We stayed for a week in this little piece of paradise. Right on the beach, with a quality deck overlooking the lagoon, this place was sensational. Had everything we needed, including snorkeling gear, and our hosts were friendly and responsive to messages. Would love to come back!

We were looking for a beach front spot for my boys to snorkel the lagoon and to enjoy the sun and warmth of the island. This spot was incredible. We walked up and down the Muri beach and IMO this spot has THE BEST beach front set up. Every morning I would drink my tea at sunrise under the palm trees on the beach with warm breeze. I loved sitting in the loungers for hours either in the palm trees shade or in the sun on the beach. We snorkeled and paddle boarded a ton. Adam and Sarah took great care of us while we were there with taxis and suggested things to do. The house had plenty of space and the landscaping was beautiful. Even though there was no air conditioning, the breeze off the ocean and ceiling fans kept us cool and comfortable. The only downside, which would absolutely not keep me from coming back here again, was a strong musty odor whenever you opened the kitchen cabinets. I imagine with the humidity it’s hard to keep enclosed spaces free of mold. Still highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Muri Motu Outlook. The cottage was well equipped with the basics and it was great to get a kayak around the lagoon in, despite the wind. Thanks for a great stay!
