Holiday rentals with a pool in Takitumu District

We decided to go with an Airbnb instead of a resort being a family. Was so pleased we did. The villa is so spacious and fitted our family perfectly. Couple minutes walk to the beautiful beach. Was perfect for snorkeling or just chilling. Rachael and Tom were great hosts. If we had any issues (which we didn't) we could call anytime. Miss 3 1/2 absolutely loved the pool.

Lynn's home was the exact privacy we were looking for. The pool, the views, the layout was exceptional. We didn't want to leave, everything we needed was right there. We just loved it. I can't speak highly enough of the communication, pre and during the booking. Kate was there at the home to show us around and then left us to it, which we appreciated. We had the most amazing time at Starboard which was pure paradise. From the moment we arrived, the stunning ocean views took our breath away, and the villa itself was better than the photos. The infinity pool was our daily retreat, we couldn't get enough of it. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to cook meals, and the complimentary coffee, fruit, and fresh bread were great touches. Waking up to the sunrise over the ocean each morning was a highlight. While the beach in front of the villa is more for sunbaking than swimming, the pool more than made up for it. Muri Beach is also just a short drive away and perfect for swimming. Having the car included was amazing. It made exploring the island, going to dinners, and doing day tours really easy. Our host Anita went above and beyond to assist us during our stay (including meeting us at the airport on the final day to collect the car) - the epitome of a super host. Don’t hesitate - book now!

Thank you Paeru for a wonderful stay. The villa exceeded our expectations. Amazing view of the beach and out to the reef. Lovely plunge pool on the deck. Great snorkelling just out from the villa. A short walk along the beach to OTB restaurant (On The Beach). Thoughtful touches like ice cold lemonade in the fridge and a great Nespresso machine for our morning coffees. Super comfy bed and fantastic shower. We wished we could have stayed longer - we will be back! Thanks again.

Ake Ake House was the perfect holiday escape! The property is a brand new build, and you can really tell—everything feels fresh, modern, and beautifully maintained. The layout of the home is so well thought out, making it super comfortable and easy to relax in. It had everything we could possibly need for our stay, from a fully equipped kitchen to thoughtful touches throughout. The pool was absolutely stunning—a true highlight—and we spent a lot of time enjoying it. Honestly, the photos don’t do the place justice. It’s even more beautiful in person. We had an incredible time and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ake Ake House to anyone heading to Rarotonga. Can’t wait to come back!

Great place to stay, great to have a pool on those scorcher days, little one absolutely loved it. Beware if you are a bit of a late sleeper or enjoy your sleep, chickens on the island dont really make that possible, otherwise was a great location for us, very clean and neat. My only issue was with a little one the wasps were a bit of a nuisance, they are all over the island but we seemed to get quite a few roaming into the house, after 3 they dissapeared so it was great to enjoy the outside space at that point. I would recommend this place to any family wanting to unwind and enjoy some Raro outdoors, undercover area was perfect for those rainy afternoons. Thanks again Demond and Tracy, you guys made this experience easy and seemless foe our first trip to Raro, thanks for the use of the car this was an absolute lifesaver for us. Truly great hosts.

We as a couple and two friends had a superb stay at Adam and Sarah's beautiful Kokocabana Beach house, it was situated at Muri Lagoon with direct access to the lagoon. It was better than we had thought coming from Australia, it is always a guess as to where you actually book, but not this place, it was everything and more. We loved our stay and was easy to get around. We hired a car which was well worth doing. Unfortunately we didnt get to meet Adam and Sarah as we were always out and about. But communication was always answered when we had a question. The house is divine and the position is in paradise! We will definately be back. This was just the best and thank you Adam and Sarah for sharing your beautiful home, a memory we will have forever. Hilary, Wayne, Spike and Tania
