We had a great stay at Carne Fowler. The bungalow suited our needs as we were travelling as a group of 6 adults, plenty of space and the property had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Alison was a great host and extremely helpful with any questions we had pre-stay and we would be happy to return. To me the bungalow is quintessentially Irish in its appearance and interior, it is secluded enough to feel you are away from it all but looks out over Belmullet to still feel connected. I would say a car is needed to get into Belmullet but it is easy enough to get there if you prefer to walk (approx. 2km). The shops nearby are Eurospar or Aldi and provide all the items you would need on holiday. Thank you for letting us stay, Alison! It was grand!

Great cottage, very spacious and clean, near the water however there was a lot of midgets around possibly to do with the weather, 5 min drive from Belmullet however that didn’t bother us as we had a small family. 4 young boys loved it.. Belmullet itself is quiet however the tidal pool & scenery is absolutely stunning. Boat trips were in Blacksod half he drive from Belmullet, dolphins were seen & it was great day out. Mary was there when we arrived and answered any questions. Would definitely book again, many thanks

What a magical spot! We didn’t want to leave. That view is so amazing, I couldn’t stop taking pictures and videos of the sea and beautiful landscape. The house is so modern and has everything you could possibly need. The beds were comfortable and the entire place was squeaky clean. Michelle was so thoughtful to leave us a welcome basket with so many goodies, treats, bread, milk and butter. She was easy to contact if we had any questions and so very pleasant to communicate with. Thank you so much for hosting us! We will come back again in the future for sure. ☺️

A clean cozy and comfortable home from home set in an ideal location for our stay in belmullet. Cora was hugely helpful and communicated quickly with all our questions regarding the property. The bedrooms were a great size all with en-suite facilities and the beds themselves were the best we have encountered either in rented houses, Airbnb or hotels. A fantastic stay and a definite recommendation and return property. Thanks Cora for everything.
