Mökki means “cottage” in Nordic Finnish. Please spend your time as you like in a special space that is detached from your daily routine. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho in northern Nagano Prefecture, blessed with forests, lakes and snow. There are nature-rich sightseeing spots such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri, and Togakushi in the vicinity. The building of the pioneering era was renovated fashionably with plenty of natural materials such as pure cedar, cypress and plaster.We also paid attention to the interior and kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy "living". In the back of the building, there is a forest with a stream, and you can enjoy a walk in search of the blessings of nature, as well as swing hammocks.In the east house by the river, you can enjoy BBQ and bonfires without worrying about the weather. This is an old house-style building located just off the Nikko Kaido. Close to Tobu Shim-Imaichi Station, you might even hear the steam whistle of the Taiki if you're lucky in the evening. 8-tatami Japanese-style room (bamboo room), 6-tatami Japanese-style room (temple style), 8-tatami living room (retro style) IH kitchen, microwave, toaster, rice cooker, fridge, washing machine, gas dryer, etc. are fully equipped, so you can use this place as a base for sightseeing in Nikko, Kinugawa, Ashio, and Kuriyama. There is also a parking lot, making it ideal for touring with fellow bikers. Breakfast is a free loaf of freshly baked bread (home bakery). Mountain Biking, Calligraphy, Games, BBQ (The usage fee for charcoal is 2,000 yen per use. Dishes are available for rent, so please prepare your ingredients at a nearby supermarket.) Advance reservation is required. In the evening, I also run a tavern next door, so you can enjoy delicious food and drinks.

While in the city, there is greenery, soil, and birds chirping. It has a historic feel. The building uses Yakusugi and Akita Sugi. The built-in storage in the house is very rare in this area and is worth seeing. If you are in the stone storehouse, you will definitely feel indescribable! Daily necessities Fridge, range, gas stove, drum style washer/dryer, etc. You'll be fine no matter how many days you stay. There is also a sauna. After the sauna, take a shower that is a little too intense to clean yourself up. Within 1 km to places considered to be Ashikaga tourist destinations. You can also walk around. It is a Japanese house surrounded by lush greenery. The space available for rent is 120 ㎡ (about 70 tatami mats). 7 minutes by car from the Kan-etsu Expressway, Hanazono Interchange. Free parking for 4 cars is available. It is a 9-minute walk from Hachioji Station on the Tobu Tojo Line. Since it is a private rental, we can only allow 1-2 people to stay for up to 7 consecutive nights. Long-term stays are possible for 3 or more people. Please use it for sightseeing such as Nagatoro, Chichibu, and Ikuno, or for work. You will have the entire first floor of a rural house to yourselves.
