Monthly Rentals in Tamarack Surf Beach

We are repeat guests, from New England who stay with Gloria and Maria during Jan - Feb. to get relief from the cold and we love the So-Cal lifestyle. Carlsbad is a very nice beach town with a great vibe. Clean, safe, laid back, friendly folks, easy to get around, plenty to do within easy walking distance. The Casita is less than two blocks from the beach so beautiful evening sunsets are there to easily enjoy. The amenities are as descibed and it is a clean and comfotable place to stay. It has everything you need and lots of outdoor space to enjoy, nice fire pit and is as private as can be in a beach town neighborhood. Mari is a wonderful host, very responsive and took great care of us whenever we had questions or needed anything. Thank you so much Mari - you are truly the best! We would love to come back!

Had the BEST time at chestnut by the Sea. The house is so well thought out the beds are incredibly comfortable, everything is exactly like the pics. We used every space and felt right at home. Having the sauna and hot tub makes you feel like you’re at a resort. Also the out door kitchen and fire pit were a perfect place to hang at sunset into the evening. This was a girls trip, but I would absolutely go back with my family. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

If I could give our stay at Rick’s place 10 stars, I would! We had to back out of our original Airbnb at the last minute and were so grateful to be able to book this home. All the instructions and rules were very clear and made for a very smooth process to end a hectic day. The location is absolutely unmatched and the home is decorated very tastefully. There was plenty of room for our family and my 2-year-old niece had a blast on the beach, which was right across the street! All of the beach toys and extras Rick had available were the icing on the cake. We were even able to have a lovely family BBQ and relax by the fire put to unwind. Even though it is on a busy street, we didn’t feel like it caused any disturbances at all as all of the bedrooms were away from the street and we couldn’t hear the noise. Even our newborn baby slept through the night! This place truly saved our family vacation!

Great stay! The place was perfect for a week away. Easily walkable to the beach and Carlsbad village. Everything exactly as described and great communication. We hope to be back!
