House holiday rentals in Tamarindo

The best AirBnB ever! I was sad to leave this incredible home away from home. It has everything you need. Usually, rentals lack the right utensils, enough plates, etc… NOT THIS PLACE! This had everything and all the nice extras. I highly recommend this home for an incredible vacation experience. We were able to enjoy all that Playa Grande has to offer plus some other wonderful excursions that were short drives away. AMAZING! Ready to come back.

Casa De La Perla met and exceeded all of our expectations. The house was just perfect for our family of seven and the views from the deck overlooking the infinity pool were breathtaking!! The sunsets were spectacular! The location was perfect with easy access to a wealth of restaurants in downtown Tamarindo. The whole family enjoyed the experience and we are all excited to return. The hosts were very informative and super responsive. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. It felt private, peaceful, clean, and safe. Having a big kitchen, a grill, and a private pool made our trip feel luxurious and the rooms were spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed for a week-long stay. We were a short walk from the beach and the town, and the home was beautiful inside & out. We absolutely loved every minute of our stay!

We spent 10 days at Casa Primo in Punta San Francisco and had a wonderful time. MMP Property Management were very responsive & great to deal with. The pictures on the site were accurate and the pool was the perfect depth and refreshing. Omar was very friendly and kept the pool & the outside very clean. The beds were so comfortable and having laundry was a bonus. Monkeys travelled by on the wires outside the house around 5:00pm for our entertainment. We can’t wait to come back!!

The Casa Vera Vista was a beautiful villa on the cliff side over looking the bay with the most beautiful sunsets. The villa was close to the beach and great restaurants plus a good starting point for many excursions. The concierge team was always there when we needed them throughout the entire trip as well as with planning prior to arriving. The house was very clean, decorated very tastefully and had comfortable beds. The daily cleaning service was very helpful with three kiddos in tow. We had two dinners and breakfast with the recommended chefs and they exceeded our expectations, with both delicious food and friendly company. Our driver Raudy was always on time, professional and was very helpful in getting around with our busy itinerary. We definitely did a lot on our trip (zip lining, deep sea fishing, ATVs, snorkeling, rainforest, waterfalls, hot springs etc) and staying at the villa with the concierge service made it that much more special. We stayed at Johan's place from Feb 1st-8th. Their place is exactly like the pictures. They have it fully equipped which is great when you're "away from home but it feels like home!" It's in a gated community so you feel safe and close to everything. We really enjoyed the terrace and the pool! Thanks so much for having us!!

We recently stayed at this amazing and had a truly wonderful experience. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed. The pool was crystal clear and perfect for lounging, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials. One of the standout parts of our stay was how responsive and helpful our host, Evelyn, was. She made everything easy and stress-free, from check-in to answering questions during our stay. Her attentiveness added a special touch. The location was ideal—peaceful and quiet, yet everything was within walking distance, including shops, restaurants, and the beach. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway where you can truly unplug and unwind. Each morning, we woke up to the unique sound of howler monkeys in the distance. While we didn’t see them on the property, hearing them added a special, natural vibe to the trip. If you’re planning a visit, we recommend bringing bug spray, get used to seeing bugs and lizards.

I booked this for my friends bachelorette and it was fantastic. Every question we had was answered right away. They even helped us book activities while we were there. It was a 10/10 experience and would definitely stay again :)

A nice property off the beaten path. It is a few miles out of Tamarindo with decent roads to get to the house. Beautiful nature surrounding the house. Carolina is very responsive and made our stay easy.

Juan, Snider and Eddie were amazing hosts! It was beautiful, relaxing and safe! Delicious breakfast and amazing pools. Fun to have the cat and dog around too for Nick our 7yo. Would stay there again when in Costa Rica!

This place was pristine! Whoever designed this home had excellent attention to detail. The landscape has grown in nicely since the pictures were taken so the property was even more beautiful than expected. With no adjacent rear neighbor, the trees, foliage and wildlife behind the home are beautiful. In fact, there is only one home adjacent to the property but and it's separated by a pretty good privacy fence. Loved the small surf town of Playa Grande as well!

This house was a stunner, for sure. It is even better in person than the pictures. The pool is amazing and we used it every day. There were a few hiccups, but Outer Reef and our guest services coordinator were extremely responsive and helped us with every question, even those not related to the property. The privacy of the bedrooms being separate from the main house was a unique experience. Would absolutely rent again if I were to come back to the area !

The Iguana Surf Villas exceeded all of our expectations! We had a group of 4 families traveling for a high school Senior Spring Break. The villas gave us all enough private space, while also providing amazing common areas to gather for meals and games. The pool and outdoor area was wonderful and we sat upstairs on the outdoor space every night. The location can't be beat as it is walkable to the beach as well as town and great restaurants and shops. The host, Ale, was very responsive and helpful with all of our needs. We also used the Iguana Concierge service to plan several outings and tours and they were all wonderful. We wish we could have stayed longer than a week!

This house was perfect for 3 couples. Rach had own room with own bathroom inside the room which was important to us. Close to the beach. One couple went surfing every morning. At one point the keypad to get in the house died but she sent over someone to fix it fast and he told us how to get in the side door if needed again. We didn't rent cars. We walked around langosta but if we needed to walk to Tamarindo we took Uber. They are everywhere. it was 5 bucks each way. one couple rented bikes for 15 a day /each so it was cheaper for the rest of us to Uber each time. The plunge pool at the top with the grill was the best spot to grill and hang with friends and play games. it's covered table so even in the rain we could be outside. Super safe and quiet area. So happy we stayed here because it was a quick ride to nightlife but then we could go home to a quiet area ❤️

What a fantastic home. Absolutely beautiful and with all the amenities you might want. We had two families of four who stayed and it was extremely comfortable. Great pool. Also very close to town (could walk even) and amazingly responsive host. Absolutely will come back.

Lovely, clean and comfortable home in a safe and beautiful neighborhood. We arrived in the evening and it was a little bit of work getting into the neighborhood (they didn’t have our names for arrival). Power went out the first morning so that interrupted cooking breakfast (thankfully we brought some food and we used the grill) but then we also didn’t have water or a/c (and then had to get instructions for water filtering system). Also could not get into laundry facilities, even using a second set of keys. Host/concierge was responsive to communication but still couldn’t fix situation. Host/concierge also helped us start outdoor fire pit. Definitely would need to have or rent a car as it is not walkable to any tourist spots, beach, restaurants or stores. We had trouble getting Ubers and getting food for evening meals. We walked to JW Marriott but the beach was not a swimming beach and no amenities unless you stay or pay to join club. We were able to get an uber/taxi from the hotel.

Casa Rosita was amazing….. every little thing. The location, neighborhood, amenities and the furnishings. We spent so much time on the covered porch and pool in the afternoons and evenings. Having access to the beach club was a huge benefit…. We loved hanging by the pool, watching the monkeys and having cocktails. Will be back!

Camille and her mom are wonderful hosts. The house was like a beautiful dream. It smelled so good every time I entered. The pool was always clean. I saw many animals. We didn't want to leave, but we would definitely come back again with my family to stay longer. The nature, the animals, the birds—I was truly happy there. I recommend that future guests be aware that if the directions don't lead you past Flamingo Beach, you might be on the wrong path. It's better to take the longer route to be sure.

We had an amazing 5-night stay at this beautiful place in Tamarindo! The location was super convenient just a short walk to the beach and a quick scooter ride to the downtown area. It was the perfect balance of peaceful and accessible. The house itself was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. It had everything we needed, whether we were cooking a meal in the fantastic kitchen, hanging out in the large living room, or relaxing by the private pool. The bedrooms were cozy and well-equipped nothing felt cramped, even with a group. Our host was also amazing. After we had already checked out, one of our group realized they’d left their passport in the nightstand. We reached out, and the host had no problem letting us come back to retrieve it super understanding and helpful, which really speaks to how great they are. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Tamarindo it made our trip even better than expected!

This is a great place even if you never left the property it's such an enjoyable place to be we have watched the monkeys eat mangoes from the trees the rain in the evening and enjoyed the pool during the day the beach is a 3 minute drive and the home is absolutely amazing wouldn't change a thing.

We had a blast for our Christmas getaway! First, Mary incredible host, super caring for everything and on the call for any questions we had. The house beautiful, private pool with garden, we loved those lamps hanging on the trees. The kitchen is set with everything we needed, great bbq nights. Bedrooms and bathrooms impeccable. And the surroundings could not get any better; beach club access, golf, tennis, morning walks, great bike rides and pet friendly! Thank you Mary we really felt as home!!! Delightful vacations. And we will be back ASAP!

This little condo was well worth all the tedious searching to find the perfect place for my husband and I on our second honeymoon. Not only does it feel like you're surrounded by the tropical forest even though you're in the city of Tamarindo, the vibes and amenities our top-notch. The bedroom got plenty of natural light which felt very romantic and bright in the morning. Really great storage for personal belongings. I love the real plants well taken care of inside and outside of the house. The kitchen was super well stocked and had everything we needed to cook our own food. The front patios hammock is perfectly placed as well and was great for morning coffee and reading. The 10-minute walk to our favorite beach for a delicious breakers in the morning, surrounded by howler monkeys and amazing birds was the cherry on top! p.s. there's a gym right across the street which is awesome. Can't wait to visit here again!

Casa Artis is absolutely gorgeous. The house was extremely clean and beautiful. The kitchen is well equipped utensils, spices, coffee, tea, etc. bathrooms included shampoo and body wash. Laundry detergent was also provided. The puzzles were an added bonus! The location is quiet and peaceful with many mature trees for shade and beauty. We even saw some howler monkeys. It’s about a one mile walk to Tamarindo beach. We enjoyed exploring the town along the way. Christine was proactive with messages and information and quickly responded to any inquires. Amazing stay. Totally recommend!
