Beach house holiday rentals in Tamarindo

Our stay here was great! It’s steps away from the beach and walkable to food trucks, supermarket, and other places! Pool was very nice onsite and also steps away from the villa. We rented a golf cart through the air bnb and that service was great as well! We will stay again! ❤️

as a lot of the reviews stated. the dogs can be a bit loud but not loud enough to not have a great time. the cats that hung out on the porch absolutely made the trip and I'm not even a real cat guy

5 Stars – Best Airbnb I’ve Stayed In! This place was absolutely perfect! The location is excellent—just 50 yards from the beach, which made it incredibly convenient to enjoy the ocean every day. The home itself was spotless, with a beautiful pool and a well-equipped, modern kitchen. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Vidal was amazing—super helpful, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Hands down, this is the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beach getaway!

Our stay at Casa Costa Palmera was incredible. Shawna is a great host to work with and is an excellent communicator. The people that care for her home are also wonderful. This home is on the beach with private secure parking. Everything in the house works well, the A/C was cool when you wanted to escape the heat, and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could want. I can't wait for the opportunity to go back.

Views were stunning with an infinity pool. Huge kitchen and bedrooms. Beautiful home.

The best review I can give is that is is a place I would stay at again and this Airbnb is one of those. The house was beautiful, the views fantastic, the location was close to everything we needed and the host, Lia, went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. She had groceries delivered since we were arriving later in the day. Her recommendations on local spots were right on and she arranged a chef to cook for us on our last night and the meal was wonderful ( highly recommend it), Like I said, I can hardly wait until our next visit.

We had a wonderful stay at Mono Feliz! The villa had everything we needed to have a relaxing, peaceful stay in Costa Rica. The beach, beach club, shops, restaurants, and town were all in walking distance. After enjoying the day with all the area had to offer, it was especially nice to come back to the villa to dip in the pool. Hosts, Jeff and Gina, were attentive to our needs along with onsite management, Justin. Pura Vida!

We only got to stay 2 day because we visited different parts of Costa Rica . But it was a nice place near the beaches and local restaurants.

We had a fabulous time at Casa Bella Catalina. Everything was as described and even better than the pictures. The beach is not crowded, the pool is very functional with a long section for swimming laps and a smaller gently sloping area great for kids, the outdoor landscaping is immaculate and offers lots of privacy, and the outdoor kitchen is perfect for cooking for a family. We had 8 adults and 2 kids, and there was plenty of space for us to spread out, relax and have fun. The concierge was very professional and responsive, and a cleaning service came twice while we were there. We also felt the area was safe with lots of local restaurants and activities to take advantage of. One recommendation to others considering this rental is to take advantage of the grocery stocking service. While the kitchen has all the pots and pans and cooking implements you could need, there weren’t any pantry items beyond salt, pepper, and sugar. However, there is a grocery store within walking distance.

Theresa and Darren were amazing hosts! our flight arrived at 6 am and we were at the house by 12. Theresa said that because they didn't have anyone checking out we could check in early which was amazing. we had a little difficulty finding the house but that was our fault and when I messaged Theresa she answer right away with a pin allowing us to find the house instantly! Throughout the stay Theresa and Darren were very thoughtful, responsive, proactive and helpful! Anything we needed they either offered for us to barrow theirs, told us where to buy it or bought one themselves for the house. Lastly, when our other Airbnb cancelled on us last minute they agreed without any hesitation to have us stay one more night. the location was fantastic, the beach was a 5 minute walk as described as well as downtown. The pool was a great bonus as well as the AC. Would definitely recommend and will without a doubt be going back! thank you for everything!

The house was as advertised and had a very well stocked kitchen, enough patio furniture for all of us, and towels too. The property manager and Paula communicated very well and helped every step of the way for any question we had which was quite a few with traveling with 2 kiddos that were 18 months. Would recommend.

Amazing property! Had the most amazing vacation with a large party. Everyone was comfortable and had plenty of space. Felt like we had a resort to ourselves. The staff was very kind and polite. We were greeted by the property manager for a tour and check-in instructions were seamless. Carolina was fabulous and I trusted her with recommendations, she was the best. I would recommend staying at Casa Papaya every time. Can't wait to go again!

We loved the house and its proximity to the beach. It is located in a gated community and very secure. It was very clean and immaculate. The pool area was so amazing and has such beautiful views that we ended up spending most of our days there. It is very well equipped with cooking utensils and anything else you may need for your stay. The AC and the fans work great. There are restaurants and many activities to do nearby. this is easily one of the best homes I have stayed in.

We spent some incredible days as a family, Casa Bosque is more than we imagined. It is a space with a really special energy, the house is very spacious and beautiful. The beach is beautiful. We loved that they welcomed our pets in such a nice way too The service was perfect from the moment of booking Very happy, we will be back

Wonderful stay! The house was clean, as pictured, and equipped with kitchen essentials. The beds were very comfortable, and the cooling units kept the space pleasant. One of the highlights was the outdoor showers—such a unique experience listening to howler monkeys while rinsing off! As is typical in many Costa Rican rentals, no conditioner was provided. That said, the shampoo, body wash, and hand soap were all high-quality and a thoughtful touch. The small pool was unfortunately too cold to use during our rainy visit. With the ongoing construction next door, we likely wouldn’t have spent much time out there anyway. The included beach club access was a major perk! On the first day, we walked along the beach at low tide, and on other days we drove—parking was easy and dedicated for guests. The staff were friendly, the pool was spotless, and access to the beach was excellent. The food was decent, and the overall experience there really elevated our stay.

This place was absolutely perfect for our surfing trip!! Private beach access, beautiful yard looking out to the ocean and spacious home. The hostess was responsive and communicative and very friendly and helpful if we had any questions. I hate to write this review as I don’t want anyone else to know about the place as I would like to keep it to ourselves next year. ☺️. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here. Absolutely a wonderful place and wonderful hosts!!

We stayed for a week and really felt at home! The house was cozy and very comfortable and had everything we needed for a longer stay. Every little detail was taken care of. The area is also quiet and peaceful. It was a wonderful experience! Thank you so much for all the help and rcommendations 🙏
