My family and I had a great stay at this property, we were surprised at how much better it looked compared to the photos! We couldn’t have asked for better hosts, kept me well informed about everything from the moment I booked. Luke’s guide was amazing and informative, we even tried 2 of the food spots on his list and they were great so bonus points for that! All in all the whole experience was fantastic and I can recommend this property and its hosts to all! Thank you

The photos don’t do justice to how beautiful the lodge is , such a serene peaceful location. I wouldn’t really recommend this location if you’re not a driver, as it’s a little tricky to get about, but Billy was so kind and offered us lifts if we needed them, really thoughtful. Saying that, if you’re planning to get away for a weekend then you really dont need a car, there’s a lovely pub 5 minutes away and the lodge is perfect to just relax in; not to mention the views from the hot tub. The facilities are just what you’d need for a trip away and the shower is gorgeous. Thank you Billy for letting us stay, it was just what we needed, we’ll definitely be coming back again.

amazing hosts. lovely private place, has everything you would want and more. very well looked after place. the hosts make lovely gestures for your stay. it is very quiet and private aswell. will be visiting in the future again

We had a wonderful stay at Woodlands View! The location is beautiful - very peaceful and relaxing. Sitting out in the hot tub in the evenings was definitely a highlight! The lodge had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay - with extra towels and robes for the hot tub. 😊 The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfy. The bathrooms were immaculate and great to have the en-suite in the master room too! The time, thought and effort that has gone into making the lodge a perfect place to stay did not go unnoticed. We will definitely be back! 😊

my stay at the cabin was lovely, definitely exceeded my expectations, was very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Hottub was amazing aswell, just what i needed to relax and unwind, would definitely recommend to others.

We had a great two night stay. The cabin has everything you could ever need. We found some great walks to get the dog out as well

Perfect place for what we needed for a couple of days, near to the NEC. Peaceful surroundings (obviously excluding the airplanes taking off from the airport). Clean and tidy. Good facilities.

we had an absolutely fantastic time here and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The accommodation was perfect for what we needed and, despite it's small size, was laid out perfectly. In our family we had, 2 adults, 2 children (12+6) and a medium sized dog. plenty of room for all of us. A lovely, relaxing stay in great surroundings. Thoroughly enjoyable and would recommend to all.

I had such a lovely few days away with my son. The cabin was absolutely lovely and in such a beautiful setting. We loved exploring the woodland and enjoyed using our paddle board on the lake. We loved being around the animals- we visited the pigs, horses, goats, sheep etc. several times a day! Had a lovely bbq, despite the weather! It was a great location to visit Warwick castle, as well as the surrounding villages. The owners couldn’t have been more friendly- we learnt so much about all the animals. The fresh eggs and treats were a lovely touch. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Host was very good at providing information about the local area which I had asked questions about. A lovely Lodge and the hot tub was fantastic to relax in after a long day at Alton Towers. We would stay here again.

Absolutely amazing, hot tub was an added bonus. Sarah was really helpful gave us a good few places to visit for our stay. The cozy cabin we had was on the end and waking up to the cows on the field was a new experience which was a fun one. Loved the idea of the fire pit. After a long soak in the tub coming out to dry by the fire pit while watching the stars was amazing. Will definitely be back

What a wonderful stay we had, communication with Geoff was great he met us on arrival and showed us in and explained everything and told us about amenities and the area. Lovely touch with some milk in the fridge and a bottle of complimentary wine and biscuits..little things like that go a long way, thank you. Geoff's home was immaculate and we felt very much at home, showers were powerful and all towels were provided. There wasn't anything we needed to ask for. It was very warm and cosy, my only niggle was the mattress on the double bed was really soft, we have a firm one at home but that's a personal choice thing and you can't please everyone's preference. Geoff told us of the bowling club where everyone was really friendly and we had a great night Saturday when they had a fantastic guy singing. Geoff offered us a late check out, although not needed was a really nice gesture. We very much look forward to coming back and staying again, maybe then we can get a bit of sunshine!

A lovely getaway for the family and dog. Boys loved climbing in the tree house,space to run around,the canoes and the painting station. the dog had freedom to roam. the cabin is quirky and everything is well thought of and John had left marshmallows and choco digestives for s'mores. John is a fab host. really attentive and knowledgeable. relaxing stay, many thanks 👍 would definitely visit again.

We had an amazing nights stay at the shack. The inside was decorated with so much character and we loved the inclusion of fun games to play together. More than enough wood left for both the inside and outside fire but we still scavenged in the forest for more as it was so lovely. The bed was very comfortable so we had a good nights sleep with the fire keeping us warm. Andrew and Rachel were extremely responsive to some questions that we had. Couldn’t have asked for better hosts. We would definitely return in the future and would advise anyone considering a stay here to go ahead and book it, you won’t regret it!

We had a fantastic stay in the cabin with our two children (5 and 1), Stacey and Steve were fantastic hosts, always available to answer our questions and making us feel extremely welcome. We spent most of our time in the farm park which our children absolutely adored and there is easy access on foot from the cabin. The cabin is on a working farm, so reasonable restrictions of course apply on where you can go, but those were all clearly explained on arrival and we were given as much freedom as possible.

Heron Lodge is a beautiful and tranquil place to escape busy life. The interior is tastefully decorated with everything needed for a short stay, thoughtful touches like hot water bottles and robes, and in the kitchen olive oil, milk and homemade salted caramel brownies which were delicious. The outside space is incredible; We loved the quietness and privacy, the only sound was birdsong, there was a heron nesting on the jetty opposite and on a little walk just up the track we saw deer. The bbq and hot tub were great (hot tub took 2 hours to heat as per instructions) and the hammock is a brilliant addition for true relaxation! After checking out we visited Ellenden Farm shop for breakfast, a fantastic recommendation from another review on here. We will definitely be booking again.

We had an amazing experience! Victoria is a lovely host, and the cabin had everything we needed and more. It’s super cozy and comfortable, tucked away in the middle of nature, offering total privacy. We felt completely relaxed and are already looking forward to coming back very soon!

We wanted a couple of nights away from London, and this cabin was just perfect. It’s off the grid, but you can still charge your phone with solar power, and there are solar lights too. The fireplaces inside and outside were super cozy, and the shower was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The cabin had everything we needed, plus some lovely little extras like fresh flowers and incense. It’s in a great spot with easy access to a bridle path and country walks right from the door. You can hear the road a bit, but it didn’t spoil the peace or the amazing views from the cabin.
