Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Tarnos

Chris and Lotte have done a fantastic sympathetic restoration, of a very fine and spacious 1930s house, in a secluded and tranquil setting. It makes a perfect base for exploring delightful local surroundings, or further afield to the likes of San Sebastián. Chris and Lotte are very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

We just spent 10 wonderful nights here. What can I say apart from it was perfect. Yves and Scarlett are great hosts. They are on hand if you need them but very discreet the rest of the time. The barn is very well equipped and has everything needed to self cater. The grounds are amazing and kept in fantastic condition - we regularly used the pool and hot tub. There are 4 resident donkeys, a small dog and a cat. All are lovely - the donkeys are a pleasure to watch. We went out to a town called Salies de Bearn and would highly recommend it for nice scenery, cafes, bars and restaurants. There are supermarkets and bakeries in nearby towns. The hosts are great at making recommendations. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back ☺️

More than fabulous house I cannot imagine more than this Highly Recommended I would love to come again

We were very warmly welcomed by Bruno and Karin. Karin was able to give us some good excursion tips. In the house there is everything, even two older bicycles for small excursions. The pool was very nice and also warm. The whole house is very nice and friendly. We were 2 families and felt very comfortable there. A good starting point for a beach and surfer vacation. But it's also not that far to San Sebastian or Bayonne.

we only spent 2 days but superb house, great location, the ocean 2 minutes' walk away the house is located in the middle of the dune at the top. We'll keep the address and will surely come back

Alexandre and his wife are very friendly. The accommodation was very good and matched the photos and there was everything you needed. As it was extremely hot, he had turned on the air conditioning before we arrived, we appreciated it! Very good bedding and quiet area. If we return to the Landes, we will contact him again without hesitation.

Thanks to Bernadette and Stéphane because we had a great family vacation. The house is very nice and well-equipped. Ideal for us. A holiday in the countryside with animals, just as we like them. Tranquility assured. Very relaxing vacation as we wanted, especially with a 2-month-old baby. We appreciated that the house was equipped for the little one. Bernadette is a very nice and friendly host, attentive to her tenants. We hope to return next year. Just a tiny downside for the path that leads to the house. We would recommend this house. And thank you again.

Annick is charming and her accommodation is great! The tranquility you can breathe is incredible! The pool in the courtyard is TOP! It even has a couple of bikes available to enjoy. My partner and our dog went and we felt at home. Thank you for your kindness and we hope to be back soon with a little more time!!

Bogdan was very responsive and luckily we were able to book in very short notice as we almost had no where to stay that evening. Despite the language barrier Bogdan was friendly and kind to us. The property is beautiful and very peaceful, the garden is beautifully maintained. We enjoyed a cuppa in the garden as the sun went down it was truly beautiful. We had a good sleep, the bed was comfy and the room was really clean with towels provided. The kitchen next door had access to coffee / hot water and a fridge etc for your goods. Thanks for your hospitality Bogdan, you saved our evening from disaster and gave us a memorable night instead 😃

We were 6 adults with 1 baby and 2 dogs and the house was perfectly suited to our needs. Nothing to say about the cleanliness and bedding. The exterior is very pleasant and allowed us to rest. We recommend without reservation and plan to book again for a future weekend.

Very nice and bright house with kitchen open to the living room, large terrace and beautiful garden, it makes it a very nice space for holidays. The rooms are quite large with storage space, there is even a convenient office area for remote working. The house is well located just 10 minutes' drive from Bayonne or the metro beach in Tarnos. We had a great week there. Recommended!

A big thank you to Chantal and her husband for their rare friendly welcome, their precious advice that allowed us to spend 3 incredible days in the region, and their pleasant house in which everything was done to make us feel at home. The furniture is great, a beautiful terrace/garden to spend meals or evenings, everything was clean and the house well-equipped. Chantal makes sure her guests have everything they need! This is a fabulous apartment in an idyllic location. Stunning views, immediate access to the beach, easily walkable to the core of Biarritz.

We had an excellent month-long stay! The location is fantastic—peaceful yet close to so many activities. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, making our stay very comfortable. Despite visiting in winter, we stayed active and had an incredible time. We went surfing, horseback riding, and even took a discovery flight at a nearby airport on a small aircraft! The ocean is about 8 km away, which is perfect for runners and cyclists, as there are plenty of well-maintained paths to explore. If you’re looking for adventure or just a quiet retreat, this place has it all. I highly recommend it and would love to come back!
