Barn accommodation in Taunton Deane

This was our 4th time staying at Grace barn. Rosie, Ian and Barney are very welcoming and the barn is just perfect for us. Everything that you need is provided, and we particularly enjoy the lovely wood burner and Childrens outside area. Thanks again and see you soon!

A great place to stay to explore beautiful Exmoor. The second time we have stayed there its clean, cosy and comfortable with fabulous views of the coast and access to great walks.

Beautiful location, cute loft. It's a lovely 50 min walk via a field and river walk into Lyme Regis. Definitely recommend this way rather than the road as that's hard work. Don't rely on buses or taxis unless you've booked. The facilities in the loft are plentiful and it was a lovely place to sit and read on the decked balcony. The mattress and pillows are the most comfortable I have ever experienced! Unfortunately, the bed was so low with my painful legs/knee surgery, I needed help to get out which was a bit of a nuisance for mid night bathroom trips. Sofa also lie but sat on a cushion and managed ok. lots of people mention the ceiling height, my husband is 6 foot and managed fine, yes it's a bent shuffle down the side of the bed but manageable. All in all a lovely peaceful weekend with some great nights sleep. Beware, if you are thinking of using the local pub (5 mins walk), lovely place to sit out the back bit they weren't doing food and also weren't open Sunday evening.

We really enjoyed our stay and loved how peaceful it was. The welcome gifts from Joy were great, and she provided us with vegan goodies which was much appreciated. Lots of helpful info provided (like using the hot tub etc) which helped ease us in and feel at home!

The barn was just as described with beautiful views. We had the whole area for ourselves and had a great time. Bridget and her partner were excellent hosts, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Lovely quiet spot to relax and unwind. Well situated to explore Tiverton, Exmoir and Knighthayes, not far from M5. Canal access at Halberton is worth seeking out. All amenities 15 mins away in Tiverton.

Beautiful setting, remote and good amenities. All details are clearly listed ahead of time which helps to know what is available and what should be brought along for the stay.

Such a special place!! We all had a wonderful stay at the lodge. Magical sunsets and beautiful views and actually very very refreshing having a couple of days with no WiFi or electricity. Very well equipped and such beautiful features. Kids and adults were all very happy to be there.

Lovely accommodation, well appointed and extremely private .

We had a lovely stay at Susan's place. The property was beautifully furnished and had a very calming aura. Directions to the property were clear and the village itself is really lovely and peaceful. The view from the bathroom in the morning was stunning! The place was really clean - even though this is a dog friendly property (and we didn't bring any) Susan clearly took care to ensure the place was spotless and free from hair. We'd definitely stay again.

We had a short break which was peaceful with lots of nature all around us. Some wonderful walks. The cottage was beyond expectations. We hope to visit again soon.

Lovely home, spacious, modern, clean, and well equipped. Easy to find and Suzanne provides clear instructions and recommendations. Good parking. We used it as a base for a wedding at Stockbridge Farm Barn which is only a couple of minutes drive or under 20 minutes to walk. There is lots to do in the area (we visited Montacute House 25 mins away by car), and there are some nice walks from the house.

Absolutely stunning as always. Our 3rd time there and already booked for next year!! Love everything about this place and claire is brilliant host. Cannot wait to go back again 🥰

Can’t thank Catherine enough. Incredibly helpful from booking the stay until we left. It’s a beautiful cosy barn, very peaceful indeed and we slept like babies. Catherine had thought of everything and we even had a welcome hamper with lovely bits x Really easy quick walks to the cheddar gorge. Catherine’s welcome guide explained everything and really did help immensely. Thank you, thank you !! We will highly recommend to our friends and family and will certainly stay again. We fell in love with the house , location and facilities as soon as we arrived. It had everything we needed , the children loved it , from playing tennis, skittles to bar football and stories by the wood burner before bed. Everything was there for us, a separate table in the games room for arts and crafts and games to lovely comfortable furniture outside looking across to the sheep , the children loved the opportunity to be able to walk around the field with the sheep, with one of them saying "this is the best holiday ever" and another saying " this is the best day of my whole life". Thank you Rachel for creating a perfect holiday home where we have made some amzing family memories,

My recent stay at this beautifully converted barn in rural Devon was exceptional and everything I needed. I tucked myself away in the private, remote setting of the barn which offered the perfect blend of seclusion, comfort, and countryside charm. I enjoyed waking up to the rustic features of the barn coupled with the modern amenities. The standout for me was the fireplace, which added to the already wonderfully cozy atmosphere on one of the cooler evenings. The hosts were warm, welcoming and very helpful with any questions, and I got to meet their incredibly friendly dogs who added a lovely, homely feel to the stay. I definitely want to go back and stay again.

We stayed for 4 days, Ava and Chris were very welcoming. Their cottage has a well stocked kitchen, they welcomed us with wine, bread, milk and butter as well as a lovely gift for each of my toddlers which was a lovely surprise! The beds are comfortable, there's lots of hot water for baths and showers. Location wise it's very easy to get to so many places. We have friends in Yeovil, visited Longleat and Weymouth. We'll certainly stay again. Luckily we checked the instructions in the guest book, you need to take out the rubbish and strip the beds upon leaving. all very straightforward instructions. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had a fab time at the Cider House. Eddy was very easy to communicate with. The house was lovely and carefully designed with everything one could need. The house location was perfect, peaceful and secluded.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Barabara’s gorgeous house. I would recommend to anyone visiting Devon to stay here. Communication & how we were made feel welcome was hugely appreciated. Thank you very much for having us!

Exceeded our expectations. Really homely, spotlessly clean and tidy and well presented, in beautiful rural village setting. Ideal base for exploring, only 15 mins from Seaton and Lyme Regis. Excellent communication and personal touches from hosts. Hopefully will return!

Boooooming ! Plenty of amenities hot tub was class and the barn was next level ! 👌 a bit tight of a few things but absolutely can’t fault it at all ! Peaceful surroundings and booming weather which was a massive plus ! All around great highly recommend ! Diolch an Fawr 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

The perfect spot for a much-needed peaceful getaway. The accommodation was beautiful, with lovely extra touches like locally made soap, homemade jam and not only a coffee machine but also a milk frother! The bed was wonderfully comfortable and waking up to the sound of cuckoos was bliss. Michael was incredibly friendly, kind and helpful but also left us to our own devices so we felt very secluded and private. We loved walking, cycling and swimming in the river nearby as well as getting out to explore the local towns, having been recommended some great places to visit and restaurants to eat at. We would LOVE to come back! Pin & Ben :o)

Had a fantastic stay at Goose Feather Barn. The accommodation was really clean and it provided everything you would need in terms of kitchenware, cooking facilities, towels and basic toiletries. The property is in a fantastic central location to explore the local area, just 20 minutes from places like Cheddar, Wells and Glastonbury. Wedmore itself is also beautiful, with some lovely options for food and drinks. The host was very proactive in providing us with all the information we needed long before our stay. There was a very helpful welcome pack at the property upon our arrival and the host was quick to respond to any communication we had. Would highly recommend this property and this host to anyone looking to explore Somerset. And yes, the bed is as big as it looks in the pictures.
