Holiday rentals with beach access in Tay Valley

We had a great stay! The check-in and check-out instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The space was clean and comfortable, and the location was fantastic for what we needed. The bedrooms did run a little warm, but there were tower fans to help circumvent that and keep things comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely nothing but good things to say about this listing. The area is convenient to everything, it’s so unique and eclectic and perfect for a getaway. 100% will stay again.

We loved this place! It was absolutely delightful! Ben and Jess have done an incredible job curating a fun fifties themed home. I’m amazed at how they were able to create both a space comfortable to live in, while at the same time, a place you can’t stop exploring. And I was honestly amazed at how clean it felt, considering all of the antiques! You can tell they genuinely take pride in their Airbnb. They did a fantastic job creating a full experience from the moment you walked in the door. (I won’t give any spoilers!) We would definitely love to return for another stay if we are ever in the area again.

Our stay at Carmel’s was exceptional. This is possibly the best Airbnb I have stayed at in a decade. Not only is she a welcoming host, but she takes care to ensure that every aspect of comfort and convenience is attended to. The space is aesthetically designed and decorated, and it has everything a traveller needs. Carmel was just as welcoming of our two dogs. Five stars all the way. Almonte itself is a lovely little town and I highly recommend using it as a base if you are looking to explore the National Capital Area or stopping overnight if you are returning to the GTA from Quebec or the Maritimes.

We had an amazing stay at Shawna’s place. When she found out we were travelling with a child she offered to have a playpen and high chair available and even brought some toys for us to use during our stay which was so thoughtful! The place was very clean and comfortable - had everything you would need. It is a Murphy bed but it was so comfortable and had very soft sheets - it was nice to be able to tuck it away during the day, too since it is a studio apartment. There is quite a large deck that we really enjoyed as it was very convenient when our little one would go to bed at night we could still sit outside. It is an extremely walkable location - we didn’t use our car at all during our stay. Shawna was an excellent and responsive host - would highly recommend her place if needing a stay in Brockville!

Ideal location with a warm welcoming feeling. Clean and comfortable in a quiet, peaceful location. Would definitely recommend and plan on staying here agin next time I am in this area.

The host's communication was excellent, promptly answering all my questions and providing helpful information throughout my stay. I felt well taken care of and appreciated the attention to detail. This is our second stay there within a months timeframe, this is how much we love this place! So beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature. Absolutely stunning setting and a very clean and well appointed rental. Charming vibe and super cozy set up. Amazing master suite and also very comfortable secondary suite. My family all felt “right at home” and we would definitely consider returning on our next visit to the Ottawa area. Jumped in the Ottawa River on May 18th and can attest to the cleanliness of the water and the nice sandy beach! Exceptional place to relax, refresh and recharge! An awesome place to stay. Loved the fact that we all had queen size, very comfortable beds. It was so nicely decorated , clean, organized and had everything you would need. The place exuded warmth, was inviting, and although it was big, felt very cozy. Lana was an exceptional host, friendly yet professional, easy to contact and quick to respond, helpful and truly wanted her guests to have a wonderful, fun and relaxing holiday. The golf course was great and the fishing excellent!

We had a great time! Beautiful home in a beautiful place. The hot tub was huge and fit all of us comfortably. Beds and pillows were comfy, the climate control was fantastic and the house was spacious and clean.

This unit is in a great location. It’s walkable to all the restaurants and bars. Even so the you didn’t hear the noise from the bars late at night. Off street parking right in front of the unit is a plus! It is clean and well laid out. The pictures don’t do the size of it justice. It is so much bigger than it looks! The front porch was a nice area to be able to enjoy sights, as well the kitchen window looks right out to the river. As others have said the beds are quite firm. Overall we enjoyed our weekend stay!

This rental is nestled on a quiet cul-de-sac in a historic working class neighbourhood of Hull, between the Ottawa River & Gatineau Park. It offers excellent privacy, peace & convenience. With bike paths & hiking trails nearby, it's the ideal spot for cyclists that want direct access to the park while staying close to the city. Nearby bus routes offer rides into downtown Hull & Ottawa. There are convenience stores, a café, gas station, and restaurants at walking distance. The unit is modest but well-kept and very clean, with all the required basics. Self check-in and connecting to the WiFi was easy. Water pressure & hot water were ample. The kitchen was functional. The television had a Netflix account for guests. I enjoyed the interesting variety of books. The linens were clean & the beds were adequate for comfort. Additional lamps would be a positive. The screened back porch is a nice spot to sit with a morning coffee. Thank you to the hosts! I would stay here again in the future.

This stay was simply perfect! I could ramble on but believe the hype, the space is wonderful and Sylvia was a fantastic host. Amazing value, couldn’t have asked for a better experience :)
