Little Red Cabin

Peaceful location in the Greene/Sullivan Forest. Within 2 miles of over 30 stripper pits for some of the best fishing in southwest Indiana. Also excellent for a nice couple's get-a-way from the hustle and bustle of the city. This cabin is located in the forest so cell service can be very poor. I do have a cell phone booster on the fireplace which helps a little bit if you stand in front of it, but be aware that cell phone service is poor. Also keep in mind that we do not have Wi-Fi available.

We have a fire ring in the backyard-ready for relaxing evening campfires and story telling

Located on Cataract Lake, yards from a public boat launch, this is the perfect spot to get out onto the lake or just relax amongst the trees. Boat parking is provided on the property.

The Tinkers Cabin is nestled in the heart of Parke County, known for its covered bridges and Turkey Run State Park. It features a lakefront view and direct access to Raccoon Lake, complete with a 30-foot seawall. We love swimming and boating in the summer, enjoying fall colors, and exploring the lakebed in the winter when the water is drained for capacity. In the evenings, you can gather around an outdoor bonfire or stream your favorite movies with free Wi-Fi and smart TV in this cozy cabin.

This home is situated on the river, offering a private setting with quick access to other amenities. It’s only 5 miles to I70, 3 miles to Indiana State University, 7 miles to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, and 6 miles to Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. It’s also just half a mile away from The Landing. The home features a full kitchen, a living room, two bedrooms, and two full bathrooms. Captain Bill’s Lake House. This majestic A-frame is at the entrance to the Cataract Lake boat ramp. The house will accommodate up to 7 guests, with three bedrooms and two full baths. All guests have full access to Captain Bill’s shared heated pool and surrounding gardens. Boat parking is provided on the property, inquire for details. Heated pool is seasonal beginning Mid May through September.
