House holiday rentals in Terre Haute

This home was perfect for us and our extended family to celebrate our son’s college graduation. It was clean, well appointed, and spacious. Plenty of room for everyone at the dining room table (including enough chairs) when all 10 of us were there, which was really nice. Comfortable beds and enough privacy for everyone. We especially liked the rec room for playing pool and the backyard games provided. This house made our last stay in Terre Haute very special — thank you Veera!

Very quiet and peaceful stay. Just what we needed and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a long day.

This house more than meets expectations, the property is absolutely beautiful. There were 14 of us between two families, and no one was ever bored. Between the lake, the pool, the back yard, and the house itself, there was so much to do. There is a ton of seating inside and out, plenty of room in the kitchen for cooking, a huge and comfy sectional and chairs in the living room where we played a ton of games. Beds were comfy, bathrooms were plentiful and well maintained. The star of the show is the lake and the backyard, beautiful views and lovely landscaping made it an oasis in which to relax or fish or play lawn games. And when we had an incident where we broke something pretty important, the owner was amazingly calm and understanding, and just jumped into action to take care of it. I highly recommend this place, it was truly a wonderful weekend with our family friends and I would definitely return.

We loved our stay here. The house has so many rooms, we could have fit more. The different locations of the rooms was great for multiple families. The backyard was the biggest hit (the second was the hot tub) - with multiple playgrounds and lots of room, our kids spent most of the time out there. The dining area had plenty of room and chairs. The host was so friendly whenever we saw him. We would definitely have a reunion here again!

Ran into some issues with the amenities, the host was quick and responsive to remedy the situation. This was a good location for a golf trip with several golf courses nearby.

We had a fantastic stay at Meggan’s place! She made check-in and check-out a breeze and was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our visit. Her communication made everything easy and stress-free. The house and property were absolutely beautiful—spacious, clean, and perfect for our group. There was plenty of room for everyone to get ready for our out-of-state wedding, which made a big difference during such a busy time. The yard was peaceful and relaxing, and the pool was a highlight—such a perfect spot to unwind. Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. We were only here one night, but would absolutely stay here again. The home is peaceful, quiet, and roomy. It was farther out of Terre Haute than we thought, but that is certainly no fault of Penny's. It felt like staying at my grandparents' house and we were very comfortable. Nice beds, hot water, large fridge and kitchen. Thank you!

FOLLOW HOST INSTRUCTIONS GETTING TO PLACE. most navigations will take you to the wrong end,which is a dead end. There are many charging porch in this house for your phones. There is two steps to actually get up into the house, one room upstairs. Only plan on looking at lake there is a very large grass perimeter around the lake, driveway and property. lovely old home. david is very kind and quick to respond if you need anything. Also, the Wi-Fi that is given on this page is incorrect. The correct Wi-Fi is on the coffee table in front of the couch. Only about 10 minutes from Shakamak State Park.

This house was in the perfect location for our family reunion trip. The house is extremely clean and has all the amenities necessary to stay there. The towels are nice and soft and the beds were comfortable. A good kitchen to cook in and plenty of space at the dining room table for board games afterwards. We highly recommend this house !

The Dome is a unique, beautiful place that is in a private, wooded setting, but it is also a quick 15 minute drive away from downtown Bloomington. Staying in the Dome was so fun!

Bailey's home is beautiful and clean and perfect if you have any large family and pets. we loved sitting on the porch swings in the mornings with a cup of coffee. We rented this place for our daughter's graduation from IU and it was great to be close enough to Bloomington without all the crowds. It's a great place to stqy!

Beautiful home, perfect for my family and I. We loved the bonfire pit, and everything was comfortable. We were able to cook 2 full dinners and enjoy family time comfortably in the house. We loved it here, and would love to come back!

This is an unbelievably beautiful place. The Ranch is huge and beautiful, exactly like the photos. The surrounding area is gorgeous, tons of wildlife and beautiful sunsets. Highly recommend!!

Very nice home....perfect for 2 couples! We walked two of the Indiana State Parks which were close by as well as really good places to eat. We wish we would have stayed longer to check out some of the shopping in town! The best part was sitting on the back porch at the end of a day of hiking and just enjoying the peace and quiet and cute squirrels in the trees! Just perfect!!

Bird-watching paradise! Watch the birds from either level. Comfy place with bedrooms and full bathroom on each level. Great location, in proximity to the covered bridges and much more.
