Birgit is a very friendly host; she was always quick to respond to my questions. The apartment under the roof has a lot of charm and was stocked with anything I needed. I thought it was very nice that, for example, there was coffee and tea that I was allowed to use as a guest, as I was traveling with a backpack and had to carry all the groceries.

The Monohaus was absolutely wonderful, enchanting and cozy, you are in a completely different world! We liked it very much and it exceeded our expectations! Perfect for a cozy girls' trip, we'll be back 😍🧚‍♂️🌟

A laughing child on the swing, a snack garden and cherries to welcome you ... unfortunately the stay was far too short. The stay was relaxing and restful. A perfect start to the holiday with dogs and children. Thank you for the warmth

Fantastic place in a quiet village not far off the Autobahn 2 near Bielefeld. Nathalie and Patrik were excellent hosts and whilst we didnt need to contact them bar the last morning, knew they were a phone call away if needed. If coming by car, plenty of free parking in the supermarket car park opposite. Plenty of buses go along the main road through the village with the stops very close by. Supermarket itself if you need anything is open 8am-7pm everyday except Sunday. A bit further up on the opposite side of the road is a fantastic Italian Restaurant and Pizza takeaway which is well worth visiting with the host able to speak excellent English. To the accomodation itself, its immaculate and has all mod cons (although we didn't use the cooker). The bed was comfortable and the bedding supplied was fine. In fact the only issue would be if you were tall, keep forgetting to bend otherwise you'd bang your head of the sloping roof. Highly recommended Many thanks
